Happy new week ahead!!

yup, the sun is a reminder that it will come out at some point, just not today. And even if it did make an appearance, it wouldn't make it feel any warmer. Brutally cold outside but thankfully, not as much snow as they predicted. The temps crashed before the snow moved in so it's much drier and we got about 6-7' as best as I can tell from my window. Tom did a lot of shoveling yesterday and the plows were driving past my house all night.
That's the the good part.
The not-as-good part is that I have no idea ATM if my dentist appt is going to be canceled or not. They open at 9 and that's when I am supposed to be there. I guess I am going to get in the shower soon and plan on going unless I hear otherwise. I am super glad that even in the worst case scenario (yes, "worst case scenario" is a relative term compared to sitting in my PJs all day Bwuhahah!), I drive all the way over there, making only *&^$# left turns (more tragedy-- left turns all the way around town. I mean-- how ever will I survive??? *puts hand to forehead and in need of smelling salts).
Yeah, I think I'll survive.
Do you have any fun plans today?
Have a great day!!

sick
At least a couple more days of this artic blast. No snow or rain so the roads are clear.... not that I plan on going anywhere most of the week. Will pick up my Rx refill at the base either Friday or next Monday depending on weather and how I am feeling then. Will do the commissary run then so the back needs to be better. It is slowly improving as I am taking it easy and avoiding any lifting, etc.

. Today is very chilly and frosty its -4C which is about 24F not as cold as where our kids are, but still pretty darn cold for the West Coast! The sun will come out later and hopefully warm things up a bit! I did manage to do a pre-release page for Vicki Robinson and it was good to scrap about my brother! Very therapeutic!! I will try to do some more scrapping today and I really need to change my AVI and siggie too. Other than that I have to start thinking about a birthday gift for my DH his birthday is on groundhog day, so I have a bit of time to think about it. I had a very nice Face Time chat with my SIL Veronica in Australia on Friday night. She is getting stronger and the kids and grands are keeping her busy, but we both had a cry and then a few laughs too. I can't imagine the pain that she is going through right now!! We are just so thankful that she is with her family!! She should be back here in Canada sometime in February with her daughter who will stay with her for a couple of months. Ok I will do some quick personals than I better get on with my day.
