Good mOrning and a happy, happy Monday to you all!

Did you all survive New Years? We all did pretty well. The house is still getting slowly bak to normal. The tree is out and the furniture is back to the way it was which means that Jaida has more room to run and OMG, she is crazy. I really need to get her to the dog park so she has a place to burn that energy off. Or at least bundle up and get her out for a walk. It stinks that I hate the cold weather so much, but with Raynaud's, it hurts to be out for even short bits of time.

I have no idea of what is going on with my computer and Firefox. It would load my home page and it would load new Tabs, but it wouldn't switch to any of them. I fought with Chrome all day. I tried FF again this morning and had the same issues. I wanted to see what would happen if I opened links in a New window and it is working fine. I even went to my home page in the new window and all of the links open in new tabs like they should.

We had a nice dinner, the 5 of us, with Leah being here. Then we played Apples to Apples afterward. We haven't done a family game night in forever so it was really a lot of fun.

Today I might try to call the dental ins. and the heating assistance agency. I was thinking that they might be closed, but maybe they will be open? The dental might be, but I doubt that the County Office will be.

Hope that you all have a wonderful day!

Trudy- whew!! That is great news that your DH is feeling better. That is great that you had a nice new year and that Kodi sounds really cool.
I haven't watched The Fall. I think we are going to try the OA next but will put that on our list for after.
Have any of you watched OA? I have heard there is a lot of buzz about it but that doesn't mean much in my isolated world. *wink*

Rae- ugh about the stomach issues. But you are right to pay attention to what foods bother you. I am looking forward to the healthy eating forum here. I think that it will by helpful for all of us. I have to exercise more, even if it is walking and stretching.
We finished Travelers last night and I am already looking forward to Season two.

Hugs to all of you!!

good morning - well I will now have a hard time writing 2017! Had a great time on the Christmas bird count. It did not seem like there were a great number of birds and we did not see one cardinal which was totally unexpected. But our best rare birds were hooded mergansers, ruddy duck, blue birds and yes a drum roll - bald eagle! He was just sitting in a tree pretty far away but there was no doubt with white head and white tail. I just love knowing these birds are making such a come back. It was a spectacular day too. It was windy but there was sun and so warm you did not see your breath. My heated hoodie was the best and I never felt cold. But the funniest of the whole day was Doug forgot his good binoculars. Fortunately he had his spare in the car so he did not have to go back home. Had lunch then came home. Sat my Devils forgot how to play hockey and the Capitals took full advantage winning 6-2. It was a scary game for my team as Tom Wilson of the Capitals boarded my player John Moore who had to be stretchered off the ice. No penalty of course. But to make up for such a terrible non call the Devils had 9 power plays of which they scored no goals. Came home and my DH and I decided to just stay home as we were both tired and had to get up at the crack of dawn for birding. I was in bed by 10 but of course the fireworks started at 10 pm and continued until 1am. Maybe I should have stayed up LOL. But it was fun to see the Columbus Blue Jackets defeat the Minnesota Wild to continue their winning streak while ending the Wild's streak. And yes Trudy I was cheering on my team USA against Canada. It is always fun to see team USA win. But Trudy this is just the prelims now comes the hard part of the Tournament. Tonight is more hockey as my Devils play the Bruins. And it is raining but Luther must be tired as he is not asking to be walked.

Chris so glad that your are getting your house back to normal. I love playing games and I am thinking that should be something I do. Sorry your computer is not acting as it should! What a crazy thing!

Trudy so glad your daughter is feeling better! Glad you had such great FaceTime! And here I am again rooting for my Devils over your MG's Bruins LOL. I have so many of my players injured it is sad.

Rae bummer about the bad stomach. Not fun but I have to say I love my tums. I take two before I go to bed each night. Figure good for calcium intake and stomach. I saw Seattle got snow did you get more too? We are still to warm for snow!

Hope you all are having a great start to the new year!

Good morning, ladies. Yesterday was cold and dry and looks like the same for today. Taza and I went on our first walk for 2017 yesterday and what a great start to the year it was. We walked the paths all through Colony Farms (the place I go in the summer to photograph the flowers and birds). We met lots of others out walking their dogs and taking pics. I photographed lots of snowy scenes and he played with all the dogs we met. It was cold but I had bundled up so it felt comfortable. Two hours later we came home for lunch and then Taz and I both passed out on the couch for a few hours LOL. Tromping through the snow really wore us out. Had a quiet night with hubs, watched some more shows and had a good sleep. Today we'll take down the tree and then I'll take Taz over to the dog park. Still haven't heard anything about the new computer so will call tomorrow to find out, as they are closed today.

Chris - wonder whats happening with your computer? Have you tried another browser? Hopefully it is something simple like a corrupted browser. Did you try resetting the browser? I've had to do that before when it went wonky. Can't remember how but I know I googled it to find out.

Nancy - how wonderful to see all the birds, especially the eagle. I was hoping to see some birds on my walk yesterday but didn't see any that were close by. We did see some ducks out on the partly frozen water which was fun to watch as they swam, then scooted up onto the face to run across and then back into the water. Taz kept trying to get down into the water but I wouldn't let him, I was worried about him getting trapped under the ice. He sure wanted to though.

Trudy - hope you are having a lovely quiet morning.

Have a wonderful day, everyone. I'm looking forward to getting the house back to normal today and then getting out in the sunshine.

Gray day here but not so cold and we plan to check on birds on the lake in a bit. Yesterday I went birding for a while in the sunny afternoon while DH watched football.

Chris, glad things were happy there. Good luck with contacting people today. I don't think I'll try until tomorrow.

Nancy, congrats on the lovely CBC and getting a Bald Eagle. How nice to have that heated jacket.

Rae, what fun in the snow you and Taz must have had! Sounds really nice, but I'm happy not to have any snow right now.

Trudy, hope your day is a good one. See you're busy in the O!
