Good mOrning, lOvelies!

No need for me to get up this early, but I couldn't be bothered to turn off my alarm, and then try to remember to turn it back on for tomorrow, so I just got up at 5. I wouldn't be able to sleep much past 6, so it wasn't a big deal. But talk about lazy!
heh

I am having some issues with my Fitbit heart rates that I have to figure out today. It is saying that my HR is 125 while I am just sitting here. My BP cuff says 78. I can usually feel when my heart is racing and I can say it is not. The whole point of me having this is to get accurate readings on my pulse.

I found my DR table! I didn't get all that many more pics sorted but I was able to find some clues so now I know that Caitlyn donated her hair to Locks of Love in 2006, so that helped me place a lot of photos after that.
Since we were able to eat at the table, I even cooked. Salmon and red potatoes and a big spinach salad.

Ugh, maybe I shouldn't woken up so early.I am staring at the screen here, and my brain is moving like molasses.

Maybe I need more :cof1:

Be back soon!

I tried tracking down more info on this darn thing, and I found out there was a stop watch function. Who know? Not sure how that helps me with my pulse rate... but it was another bit of info I picked up. Still saying that my HR is 128, however, so that doesn't solve my problem.

I still don't have much to say about anything so I will leave you with this:

Today is Thesaurus Day! Peter Mark Roget, the author of Roget’s Thesaurus, was born on this day in 1779. In 1840, Roget retired from a successful career in medicine and spent the rest of his life working on “Roget’s Thesaurus of English Words and Phrases.” He published his dictionary of synonyms in 1852. Since then, it has never been out of print!
Did you know that the word “thesaurus” is Latin for “treasure”? Roget’s original treasure trove of information included 15,000 words organized into six primary categories—existence, relation, quantity, number, and time. Today the book boasts over 230,000 words, but it is still organized by ideas and concepts as opposed to alphabetically.
Pull out your thesaurus, use some new words, and stretch your vocabulary in honor of Thesaurus Day!

Caitlyn loves thesauruses (thesauri?<~ Didn't get flagged with spell check...) and has an app on her phone of one. She is such a good writer and has such an amazing vocabulary,so I guess it helps!

Have a wonderful Monday!

Super quiet day here yesterday!

Trudy- How is your SIL holding up? What is aoritis? Inflammation in the heart? Prednisone is horrible! Will she have to be on it long term? Yeah, the no-wine things sucks when I am on Tindamax, esp when it makes me so cranky. I hope that the Tx will help solve whatever she has going on.

Rae- your party sounds likeit was a blast, can't wait to see the pics!

Nancy and Kat- hope that you are enjoying your travels

Claire and Sharron- hope you are all doing well. and hope to see you check in again soon!

To everyone who reads this, sending hugs to you too!

Hi everyone! Waving at you from the Memphis Airport as we're on our way back home. Was a quick trip and Saturday was great, hanging out with my SIL and one of her daughters. Yesterday, not so good ... I got a stomach bug and had to stay at the hotel all afternoon and evening (need bathroom facilities ... a LOT!). Was bummed that I couldn't see the other niece and her kids, but I was truly in no shape to go anywhere. :(

Oh well, back home tonight ... get the dog, do a grocery shop, and then settle down into my own bed for the night.

Morning ladies... mild and still dark outside, so really can't tell what the weather is about to do yet. Had a very productive visit with SIL yesterday, got the rest of the pictures hung and I straightened out all the cords and mess from her computer and got everything plugged into a big power bar for her, what a mess!! But now it is all tucked away and out of sight just how she like it. I am the same, I can't stand seeing a ton of cords lying around!

Chris - Yes it is very quiet in here lately, I hope that means that everyone has been busy doing other productive things, but hope they are not forgetting to come back here!! I am so bad for not scrapping much lately, but it seems every time I try something else happens to take me away from it! Yes SIL has inflammation of her heart, they are still trying to figure out how she got it, most likely some kind of virus, but they are not ruling out a form of cancer yet. She has been in a lot of pain as many other parts of her are inflamed also along with the arthritis that she already suffers from that runs pretty much in whole family. So far my hubby doesn't seem to be suffering from any arthritis yet, or he just isn't saying anything. Here is a link to what Aoritis is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aortitis. She is on a pretty high dosage of Prednisone but for the first time in a long time is now pain free, she is also on another very strong drug, not sure what it is but it has lots of side effects too and is worried that the medicine will kill her before the disease will. She will be on these meds for at least 3 months. She is also headed to her son's in a week or so to babysit her two grandchildren for 2 weeks I am worried for her that something will happen, will she be able to handle caring for a 2 year old and a 8 month old?? She asked her other sister to go with her to help, but she says she can't get the time off. I can't go as I will be babysitting my own grands at that time. Oh well I suppose she will get it all figured out, I worry too much perhaps :becky: Nice to hear that you are getting your pictures all figured out and that you can find your dinning room table again!! also hope you get the Fitbit to work properly again, sometimes mine reads a bit wonky also, so I take it off for a while and then put it on later and it seems to be ok. Happy Thesaurus Day!!

Today I need to

and wash floors and clean the bathrooms, I really want to get a couple of pages done also, hopefully the day does not slip away from me as usual! Have a great Monday everyone!!

 Hi Kat, welcome back home, sorry that you did not feel so well while on your trip!! Ugh no fun having a stomach bug!! Hope you are feeling better today!!

Morning Trudy. Thanks, feeling much better - still don't really have an appetite, but not pushing that too much. My great-niece was sick with a fever and stomach bug ... then my niece woke up yesterday feeling off ... and then me. Quite the family, huh?! LOL

So, while I'm here at the airport, I've been downloading a few kits to work on the One Little Word challenge that Rae has going this month. Organize. Yeah, I need a bit of that in my life right now.

Good morning, ladies. Had a really quiet day yesterday. I didnt' get much of anything done yet the time flew by. I saw down and relaxed last night with my hubs and watched 3 episodes of NCIS and had my parmesan popcorn. I loved my Cuisinart popcorn maker my hubs got me for Xmas. It pops much better than the old one I had before that would shoot the popcorn thru the top of the machine and you had to place your bowl under the spout to catch it and it would fly all over the place and a lot wouldn't pop. This machine is quiet and efficient.

Chris - dinner sounds good. Glad you "found" your table. I posted the birthday pics in a fb folder. They aren't great photos (indoor without flash is a disaster) but I'm happy I got the pics I did. Taz was so tired that he pretty much slept all day yesterday.

Trudy - your poor SIL, the prednisone will help her feel better but takes it toll on the body in other ways. She's lucky to have you guys to help out as much as you do.

Kat - glad you're starting to feel better. Awful timing for that to happen and not getting to visit with family. As for organize....ya, me too. I have a million things I need to organize and take care of. I don't feel like doing any of it LOL.

Today I'm bringing Taz in for his nail clipping and working so the day will pass quickly. Dinner will be something light as I overate on the wkend with the party but was worth it.

Have a great day, everyone!

hey all... been super busy since school started back... am now acting as a para-educator in the FMD room (working with a non-verbal, low-functioning autistic child). I barely get on my computer most days...

Would you believe my tree is still up? After Christmas, I was having some back issues and couldn't drag the boxes down, and now I just haven't had the time... gonna try to get it down this week though...

Piper turned 12 on Saturday, so this week will be busy with plans for a birthday celebration since she was at her dad's...

Haven't had time to read everything yet, so I'll just wave to everyone!

My Heart is broken at the sad, sad news that Glen Frey has passed away!! :hurt: He was and always will be my most favourite Eagle!! RIP you will be so very missed !!
