Heidi-ho my O-Fam! (yes, Gary made me watch a few episodes of Tool Time. So now I think Heidi-Ho Neighbors! )
Did you all have a relaxing and/or fun filled weekend? Is everyone energetic and ready to meet this week with a smile?

Is everyone ready to grab the duct tape and make me stop talking/typing?? Hmmm, maybe I am overdoing the Happy Happy Joy Joy Monday. It sure takes a lot of energy outta me! But smiles on Monday sure can be nice. So is coffee. And so are morning temps in the 20's! We might get up to 40- over the weekend, we really did hit 45!
I am still having the "freezing sweats" but thankfully not as bad.

Sooo.... my weekend- you prob read about it, but what you don't know is that I scrapped 3 lo's! Two are in the gallery and one is getting ready to posted. And... I like them all! It was nice to be able to do that, and to like the results.

Today is going to be busy- power grocery shopping, a bang-trim, picking up my friend's son at the bus while she gets her hair colored. My brother is coming up after a funeral in the area, and then Caitlyn has band practice in the afternoon. Scott is sick (just a bad cold) but has a SS midterm we have been studying for all weekend. He is going to stick it out at school until the mid-term then see if he can come home. (This was one of the classes he failed so he really wants to ace this test). And Gary is having a really bad time - we don't know what is happening- leg cramps/seizures or something.... we thought is was withdrawal from one of his pain meds but now if he takes one after the 12 hours he legs still don't get better. He is also getting the "freezing sweats" and is wired from not being able to sleep.

*eye roll*

So let me offer you all some more coffee, and a slightly crooked and crazed smile and hug! Have a great day!

good morning! I wanted to pop in real quick and say hello... I didn't check in yesterday because I spent a lot of time at the hospital... Daddy seems to be doing better - I updated my prayer power thread this morning!

Not much going on today... Uncle Tommy (daddy's brother) and Aunt Liz, as well as Uncle Bill are coming to the hospital to see Daddy today... I think they'll be surprised... I'm going over this morning so that Matthew doesn't miss his nap and to make sure I help with Will's homework... plus I want to be home to cook dinner...

Not much else going on right now... I think I slept a little better last night knowing Daddy was doing better...

Chris - sorry Gary's having a hard time right now, and good luck to Scott on his test!

Hope everyone has a great day!

always chatty at the O!!
Good morning. I have a few minutes since I got up a little early this morning. Ethan is sitting at the table playing with fart goo in a can. Total boy thing. So, our weekend was crazy to say the least. For those of you who have more than 2 kids you are amazing. We started Friday night with having an extra 6 year old. In many ways it is great but with the boys spending so much time together...also quite stressful. So, to make everything even less tolerable, I had to work at the hospital last week, which is fine and I really enjoyed it, but I always take my crazy pills when my phone goes off at 10:15. Well, I don't have my phone with me when I am working at the hospital and I keep my pills in my desk at work, so no crazy pills for me which carried on until yesterday so I was not very patient this weekend. But now I am back on track and it should be a lot easier once my craziness starts to edge out a little bit.

It is weird how different and the same these boys are. They are both funny, silly, and bratty in totally different ways. There were a lot of "I'm not going to be your friend anymore" going on. Ethan likes to tell "jokes" which are really just little fibs about weird random silly stuff so Cristian wasn't liking that, then Cristian would decide he didn't like something Ethan was doing and he'd ask him to stop then get upset if Ethan didn't stop. Some stuff Ethan needed to knock off and some things were just silly. Anyway, lots of bossing around for both of them. But now today is Monday, they are both going to school (they go to different schools) and it should be good tonight. Plus we decided to buy the lego batman from Circuit City since it was 35% off and all. Going out of business sales can be so great. We got some great deals yesterday. Today I need to figure out where to buy my Mac. I'm very excited about that. But I have to finish my taxes first. Any suggestions as to where to buy a Mac? I've never bought my own computer before so any ideas would be great.

Well, I will come back soon and give out some individual love but I have to finish getting Ethan ready for school. I'll talk to you soon.

It was a typical ho-hum Monday and then I found out I won Cat's $10 gc.
HOW COOL IS THAT!!! Thanks Cat.

I love scrapping it really helps me when I am going through blah times.
I have seemed to be stuck in blah but I have been scrapping and
it really has helped my mood. Got to go out with hubby on Friday, Kohl's
is having some great sales on their winter stuff. Got a cool light
weight jacket and hubby got a few things.

Besides that oldest son was sick so we laid low this weekend.

Happy Monday everyone. Off to find the Cool-Aid faerywings is
drinking, heheh.

faerywings I need more coffee to catch up with your "happy happy
joy joy Monday" haha. Sorry to hear Scott is sick, my oldest son was
sick all weekend.

sandracvrt still praying for your Dad.

Aaaaah!!! So, I just typed up a bunch of stuff but my computer shut off. Lame. Anyway, I was just just whining a little bit, although it was legitimate. Our extra kid has a rash on his legs. They couldn't get him into peds until 1:30 and we don't know if he is allergic to benedryl. I got him an appt set up for 1:30 but told my dh to just walk over (he works down one floor and down the hall from peds) and see if they could get him in sooner. Not only did they get him in sooner but they walked him in. You can't beat that. So now they are figuring out what is going on. Hopefully it is a simple issue. I couldn't get ahold of his mom this morning and don't want to call the dad because it will cause stupid issues. I feel so bad for split families that have communication and blame issues. It is just so hard for everybody involved but the dad is not so very cool so i would like to avoid calling him if I need anything if possible so it doesn't get thrown into her face. i would feel so bad if that happened. But I think it will be okay. With our two, and being in the medical field oursleves we know our way around a sick kid, to say the least. Hopefully it is no big deal, maybe some hives or something and not any kind of contagious disease. Cross your fingers for us.

So, how is everybody on this fabulous Monday morning. I have a picture I want to share but I can't quite figure out how to put it on here. I'll try something in a little bit.

Chris - Thanks for helping me to pretend that Mondays are great. They may totally suck but at least now I'm laughing and smiling. So, no duct tape for you. I love Tool Time. I'm sorry you and dh are feeling so yucky. I think I need to create a warm snuggly blanket for you with a built in fan. Not quite sure how that would work, but you know...it's the thought that counts, right? :)

Sandra _ I am so glad that you have seen some improvement with your dad. That surgery will probably help so much too. When your liver functions aren't working correctly your body is toxifying itself so getting rid of that gallbladder should clean it right up. Plus it really is a simple surgery especially if they are able to do it laproscopically. Just a little warning about that if you haven't seen it before...he'll have a bit of a bubble belly for a while because they fill the area up with air to see what they are doing and it takes awhile for your body to absorb that air. So, he'll look a little bloated. I am very excited for you that he has been healing and has even healed enough for this surgery. Gallbladder surgery causes soreness but is generally pretty simple. I have faith that everything will go smoothly and I'll keep you in my prayers.

Dawn - That picture of your car was great and it made me laugh. Good for you for finding a little humor in a crazy and stressful situation.

Lori - congrats on the gc. i never win anything. EVER!! I don't know what but I never do. I am always excited for those of you who do with though. I hope you get some fun stuff with it.

To everyone else I will miss...have a great day. I'll chat again soon.

Good afternoon from the sick house :). My poor little girls just can't stay healthy for more than a week right now. Thankfully both are napping now and I am eating M&M's dipped in peanut butter :). Don't judge too much, I ate a spiach mandrin salad for lunch!

I am still working on the house this week with my time off soon we'll be able to move the computers out of the office we just need to find a bookshelf we like first or get rid of some books, but I love books so I don't think I can do it :).

Ok I am off ladies!!! have a great day.

Clara~ I hear you on the parental issues with sick kids. That was really hard for me when I worked on a peds floor, dealing with custody issues when kids were sick...I had to call securty many times (I worked in downtown Detroit) and was glad that our securty officers were actaully police!!!

Good later in the morning to all of you. It took awhile to get out of bed this morning cause its raining and cold and one of those days where you want to hide under the covers. :) Busy morning at the docs office cause everyone is so sick this time of year. Looking through the posts it seems to be everywhere. We have seen so many cases of Influenza B this year. Which is pretty uncommon in this area. strange.

I am so excited because i got to scrap two pages yesterday and it has been a long time! It felt good and i found so many great things in the store too! It is so good to be back online and part of the O! :)

Sorry to hear about Gary's legs, Chris. I dont know what that could be unless he is lacking in potassium or iron or something like that. Is he going to go back to his specialist?

Sandra - Many prayers your way. :)

Clara - You might want to look into the Mac stores. I have seen them in the malls at major cities, not sure if you are in one or near one. I know Best Buy has them, but couldnt tell you if they are affordable there or not. Happy hunting!

Congrats on the gc Lori!

Joslyn - Hope the household gets well soon. Enjoy those m&ms, sounds good to me. lol. I couldnt get rid of books either. Even after the boys tear covers and pages i still patch them up and keep them. LOL!

Everyone else have a great day!

Good afternoon all you SEXI O's!! hehe

I had a fairly good weekend, full of highs and lows. I miss my bf so much he has been in Texas for 1 week so far and 1 week to go :( I had alot of fun with my gf this weekend tho. One of my friends asked my to take some photo's of her so I set up a big makeshift 'studio' in my basement. I was surprised how wonderful the pics actually turned out!! One more awesome thing that happened this weekend...a lil toot for me being accepted to my first CT team...I am part of Valorie Browns CT team at FPD...woohoo

Chris sounds like your day is gonna be nutty, I hope you get everything figured out with gary, and as for the duct tape now worries your ramblings are to adorable to want to keep quiet :)

Sandra good to hear about your dad doing better, my thoughts are with you.

Clara I feel your pain! I had a house full of kids this weekend my son(8 ) my twin stepsons (4) my niece (13) I give credit to those that have more than one. As much as they all love eachother they all end up either tattling, beating, or tormenting eachother by the end of the day. I think at one point I put myself for a timeout just to get away from it all LOL. BTW sooooo jealous of you soon to be MAC purchase, Im no help on where to buy it tho but I would be interested to know what swayed your decision to buy MAC instead of PC?

Lori congrats on your win!

Joslyn hope your fam feels better soon..here's to sanitizing!

Where has today gone? It's already 3:30 pm, and I am just checking in now! Wow. Anyhow, hope you all had a great weekend and a good start to your week. We spent a lot of time this weekend at the playground enjoying the 50 degree weather. :) Loving it, I don't care what the groundhog says, I hope spring is coming.

Love to you all!!
