Hey there, O-zies!
How was your weekend? Everyone rested up and ready to meet the new week? I am (believe it or not, it is true!)
Maybe not 100% rested, but my soul is happy. The party yesterday afternoon puts everything into perspective. Family is really the most important thing and I am beyond blessed. I kept looking around the dinner table seeing my kids, my parents, my ILs, my future ILs (Leah and Tom). Such an incredible feeling. Sam and Ian came too and it was good to see them. I invited Sam to our Christmas and told her it would be the same deal as the September party- we could all pretend that it is just "a day" if that helps. I know the holidays are going to be excruciating for her and Ian. (Her b-day is the 26th and she shares it with her brother who died in Sept).
Arlene and I are always so happy having the families together. The day was perfect. <3
Wish I knew what I was going to do today. I have to finish my food shopping order. That means dinner ideas....Blergh!!!!!!!!! My ILs got Gary and me a new pantry cabinet for Christmas and he brought it up here last night. Gary put it together which means I am going to have to unpack the old cabinet so he can move the new one into position. I also forget that I still have to make the coffee butter. I mean I *know* it is still there, I shake the oil around every day. But I still need to strain out the grinds and turn the oil into butter.
Always busy, never completing LOL
There is a new scrap challenge posted, I hope I have some time to work on that too
xoxoxo
