:behindsofa: Is it really the last few days of 2020? And what in the world will I use as my complaint when things go wrong in 2021?;)

I am wiped out this morning. I wasn't super busy yesterday but I didn't sleep so well. I was out cold when Caitlyn woke me up around 11, she thought she was having an allergic reaction and was having a bit of trouble breathing. She had her EpiPen ready but as she was talking to me, the tightness started to ease up. A bit later, I got up to take Ray out and then popped upstairs to make sure she was ok- which she was. Whew. The dogs had me up several times and I slept wrong and the perpetual knot in my back is super sore. Other than being tired and achy, nothing is wrong so I am sure I will be back to being more myself after the coffee kicks in.
I never got around to dealing with the bills yesterday so that is first up this morning. That's never fun. I also need to find out what I can about Student Loan Repayment. Cait's loans start coming due in Jan and we can't figure out if they are still deferred from the CARES Act or not. The website says that "more info is coming" but she is stressing because her tuition is also due next week and she has to come up with a boatload of money. I wish I had the money to help but not even close...
My other "project" today is the food order. Please, oh please let it be better than last week's ordeal LOL

Wishing everyone a stress-free day- love and hugs to all of you!

Trudy- How I wish I had a huge kitchen and could get fun appliances! Everyone says how fabulous it is to cook with an Instapot. We got an air fryer from my ILs and that takes up half of my counter. I am guessing that Blundstone boots are good for your hiking? Or are they for dress up?-- my money is on hiking :D Did the kids have a great Christmas in spite of everything?

Rae- I am sending you every ounce of strength and love I have. How utterly frightening for you and Jen. Is B able to understand what is happening and alert? Poor thing must be terrified. I hope that by the time you read this, B is doing much better and they have answers and solutions to what happened. I am so, so sorry that all of this is happening.
Sending snuggles to Noel too.

Cheryl- I can't wait to see pictures of the new house! I am so excited for all of you. Enjoy!

Good morning ladies... Well another day, just like the other day LOL. This morning DH and I will head out to Nanaimo and pick up the paints that I ordered at Micheals Craft Store. I did not have a good sleep and I am really dragging my old self around this morning! Perhaps I will have a nap on the drive. Had another meal in the instapot last night, pork chops my goodness they were yummy!! Chris I wish you had the counter space to have one, you would love it! Oh and Blundstone boots are just kicking around boots they are made in Tasmania and they are so comfy!! They should last me for the rest of my life. My sister has had a pair for years and they still look brand new! Here is what they look like. https://www.blundstone.com/womens-chelsea-boots DH and I had a great face time with just Mason yesterday, he was showing us all of the dinosaurs that he got for Christmas, he sure loves his dinosaurs!! He also got a great educational kit made by National Geographic with a bunch of different rocks and a great book telling what each one was! He loves it! Great gift!! I never did find out who he got it from, so I will have to ask next time. Guess I will be talking to him a lot in the next few weeks as Ontario is in lock down again and not sure when the kids will be able to go back to classes.

Chris - I am feeling the same way that you are today! Wiped out and not from doing too much work thats for sure! Hopefully we can both have a bit of a nap today! That must have been frightening to wake up to Cait panicky about a possible allergic reaction!! Talk about heart stopping!! So glad to hear that she is alright! Yes all the kids had a good Christmas and they all got very spoiled! Mason is very happy that he gets to stay home from school for longer than originally thought LOL. Isaac and Sadie are not that happy about it though. I hope that your shopping goes much better than the last time!!

Rae - I too am sending you lots of love and all of my strength so that you can pass that along to B!! You, D and Jen must be so heart broken! I hope that she is doing much better today! also sending cuddles to poor little Noel also, what a crap year this has been for your entire family!!

Ok I need more caffeine if I am going to stay awake long enough to get ready to go. I hope that everyone has more energy than I do today! Stay safe everyone!

Hello lOvelies,
I read some of you use their phones as hotspot, but it's not able for me. I can't even post directly from it, as I'm lost without my WordPad and spell check program. I couldn't find enough time to prepare my post with all of us tries to act 'festive' (mostly watching Christmas movies at home LOL ). Yesterday I was mostly at the cat house as there was needed one huge cleaning after the holidays lazy days. I'm laughing on Jean's question "did Chris can allows someone else to help her at clean up the afterwards", because the obvious answer is "NO!!!". My mom was help me with the cats cleaning during the holidays, and I'm grateful for her enthusiasm and was keep my mouth zipped, BUT ughh, she don't do it at the right way ( yes my way is the only correct way, and I don't care that she is been professional housekeeper LOL). Today was another one of these sunny and unusual warm day, so I was tempted to spend it outside enjoying on coffee at the garden and dogs plays. I'm sad to hear that some of you already keep the decoration back at the boxes, as Jean we also keep it till Epiphany on January 6. Another one old tradition. I use this intermediate time for setting goals and make resolutions for the next year.

Chris, I absolutely feels Caitlyn fears, sending hugs for her! 2021 will be huge hole for the finances! How Dilly is feeling? Please, find some time for ME-time! I hope your body will start feeling better and have better sleep after the cross off all bills and purchases tasks!

Kay, the family chat sounds funny! I'm sorry that now the holidays reminds you for the difficult times! But I bet your Christmas toys are from so many places and full with stories, don't forget to share these happy memories with your kids (or even scrap them for us)!

Jean, oh, the cat story is so sweet and funny! I'm happy to hear that you're enjoyed your festive time, as for me it sounds so cute and romantic one! Especially when it was snowing too!

Trudy, your Christmas sounds lovely! Hope you'll be able to replace the shoes!
LOL, we cross posted.
Boots are so cute! I think my sister have one of these as they looks familiar to me. Mason is so cute! And when this madness end you should took him to one of these dinosaurs robots show!

Cheryl, tell us when the album is updates as I'm curious  ! I'm so happy to hear that your Christmas was so lovely! Wish you lots of happiness at your new home!!!

Nancy, I hope you're enjoying on noisy and funny intermediate holidays time!

Rae, I'm so sorry to hear about B! Sending you positive vibes! She is so young, she is strong, everything gonna be alright! Poor Jen, give her strong hug from me!
So sorry about Noel!

Good morning ladies. It's been a rough week but I'm happy to say that they have put the right cocktail of meds together and B is responding to treatment and should be moved today and if she continues to improve as rapidly as she has over the last 24 hours then she will go home in the next few days with pills rather than IV treatment. She developed gastritis, kidney, liver, lung and heart problems but everything is improving now. They still don't know what happened, what caused this to all happen but the main thing is that she is improving rapidly now. Even Noel is eating again today (I swear he hears us talking about his end of days and decides to eat and carry on again for a bit). So today is a good day. I am going to catch up on some CT work and putter around the house. D and I started watching Roswell New Mexico S2 last night so will watch a bit of that this afternoon while Jen is at the hospital with B. If she is feeling up to it, we can facetime for a few minutes later so looking forward to that.

Chris - C's pkg hasn't arrived yet, our mail is always slow. Hope you perk up today and sleep good tonight.

Trudy - love those boots, they are similar to a few pairs I have, I love that style.

Felis - enjoy the warm day, outside with the dogs. We keep our tree up til New Years Day (jan 1) as the next day I'm back to work so it's nice to get the house back in order before that.

I'd better get going, it's almost lunch time and I am still in my jammies, drinking coffee. The day is going to fly by. BFN

Hello, my lovely Ooooozzies.

Thank you all for the warm wishes. Felis, I have been using my phone as a hotspot and it works, but it pretty slow and hard to upload these big files that we have to upload and download. I haven't even been able to upload my pictures from my phone to my Google albums. Ugh.

But, good news, we got a wonderful mobile hotspot that is AMAZING!! We just got it late this afternoon and Braden came up to hook it up for us! We can even watch internet TV - no local channels, but I'll settle for Netflix, etc. We haven't had any TV for several days and I miss my music channels at least.

I'm going to work on my house album as soon as I get time. Everybody congregated here all evening and I haven't got anything done - well, I was with my family, so that's the most important thing. They come in 2 or 3 at a time and we all ended up just sitting around talking. We're all so exhausted from such a busy weekend.

Chris, sorry you didn't sleep again. That is not a good thing!

Rae, sending you hugs for this rough time.

I have (we all have) worked so hard - especially going through all the boxes, that my hands and fingers hurt. It's hard to believe that doing that makes my fingers so sore. Oh well, the end is in sight.

Group hug
