Raise your hand if you need another day of the weekend! :high5:
Scott asked me yesterday if I thought I should take a nap for the next few months. It would be nice to wake up again and have it be spring.
A few good things from yesterday- I finished another batch of cookies, no mice poop in the cabinets, and the fam watched The Grinch together. We haven't had a chance to watch A Christmas Story yet, hopefully when the kids are done with FInals on Friday. OH!! One more really good thing from yesterday- Cait submitted her application for the MSW program! I probably shouldn't be overconfident that she will get in but I can't seem to help myself.

I tried to be somewhat "chill" in the afternoon but I didn't have too much time- I did spend some time poking around Amazon and found a small gift for Gary.
I am off early this morning for my x-rays and then some Christmas shopping. I am meeting my mom for lunch and then will be back home in time to deal with dinner. That three-month nap sounds pretty darn good.

I hope that everyone's holiday plans are finalizing nicely. Mine are getting there. Yay!

Kay- I feel your insomnia pain and frustration. 3 am again this morning for me I was able to drift off for a bit in between getting squished by dogs and Gary's snoring. Did you stay in PJs? Very smart if you did.
One of my and Cait's Liz Lemon's quotes from 30 Rock- I am transitioning my pajamas into day wear.

I love Liz lemon.... (I *am* Liz Lemon.)
Bet it was nice to see DD#3, how is DD#2 doing, she is in Michigan, IIRC?

You all will be proud of me- I am leaving Gary with a list of stuff that needs to get done. He did great the last time.

Nancy- we got a bit of sun this weekend, but since I am surrounded by trees, it never seems bright enough. The oaks behind my house don't lose their leaves, some come down but they are the kind that keep the majority.
Your DS is on a roll, bagels and food shopping.
Congrats to the Devils!!! Hope they keep up the good teamwork.

Jean- that is such a bummer that the artwork was so much money to ship, but you want it to get tp BIL's safe and sound.
I hope that you rested yesterday and your team won.
Caitlyn has been "talking" to her mice friends saying that they cannot come into the kitchen anymore. I hope they listen b/c Gary's next step is to be a less humane way of getting rid of them and I do not want that.

Felis-- I finished the book and there was a twist ending and now I don't think that the character reminds me of you! LOL

L O L, Chris, now I want to find this book even more. Others to not read the spoiler, but did she killed someone or what?!

I'll try to pop up and catch everything later! Because today we decorate (finally), and it's not charming and sentimental as at the movies. Is mostly stressful and madness.

good morning - well it is turning into winter - cold with high barely above freezing and by Wednesday the high will only be in the 20s. I am so not ready! The dinner turned out so well. Homemade food is so much better! And I have leftovers but they won't last long as the boys will be taking in for their lunch. Tonight I am going to with my girlfriend to one of our fav restaurants where they have a Toys for Tots program and the high school madrigal singers perform and a portion of each meal goes to the music department. Got another page done. I will keep plugging away. I am having fun.

Chris hope all goes well today. Drive carefully as I weather sounds disgusting with rain, snow and freezing rain. I am sure it is worse up by you. My DH will be done with his finals on Thursday but LOL he then has to grade them.

Felis hope you find the book sometime. I hope that is not the ending.

Jean it may have cost a lot but he will be so happy to receive your art piece. Good luck finishing up the newsletter and getting it mailed out.

Waving to all!
Have a great day!

A bit more festive than before LOL. Today I hope to get a few cards out in the mail and then I need to put together a little gift bag for my hairdresser. I get my hair cut and coloured tomorrow afternoon so I will be all ready and good to go! I never did get out to look for a new top to wear for Christmas, so perhaps one day this week, but I will not stress over it, its not like I don't have anything to wear LOL.

Chris - I love Liz Lemon too!! Yes wouldn't it be nice to just take a nap and have it be spring when you wake up!! Just like the bears when they hibernate!! Happy to hear that there is no more mouse poop and that you managed to make more cookies too! So much for staying off of your poor foot! Good luck with the x-rays this morning and getting your shopping done! Have a lovely lunch with your Mom too! I still have not made any cookies yet, I like to leave it until just before Christmas as DH would have them all eaten before then!

Nancy - I was so happy to hear that your Devils finally won a game for you!! Hopefully it will be the beginning of winning streak for them! That is what happens to all the leftovers in our house too, DH ends up taking them for his lunch and I don't get any :mmph: Enjoy your night out, it sounds like a great time and great cause!!

Felis - I think I need to find this book now too! LOL Who am I kidding... I don't have time to read right now  Hope that your day of decorating goes well and is not too stressful and more of a fun day for you and your family!!

Ok ladies I am off to the shower and then will come back to read over personals from the weekend and get some gallery love done too! Not much else happening today, so hopefully I will get some scrap time in. Have a great Monday everyone!

Good morning, ladies. My busy Monday is even busier. This is the last wk before my bosses are gone for the holidays so they are loading me up with work. I'll stay off the computer for most of the day, getting as much work done as I can.

No scrapping today for me.

Got a bit of Xmas shopping done on the wkend, started looking at keto/low carb cookie/bar recipes. B is coming next Sunday with Jen and we are going to bake in the afternoon. Choc chip cookies for sure and a few other things. We are not going to bake as much as last year, Jen and I went overboard and we were eating snacks for about 6 wks after Xmas LOL.

Chris - yes, I could have used an extra day too. Other than a day or two to take photos of birds and Taz in the snow (if we ever get any), then I'm ready for a long nap and waking up to spring :)

Trudy - your decorating looks beautiful.

I'm getting to work now. Hope you all have a great day.

Hi there,
Nothing new: I am tired and stressed and worried and frustrated. Did I say tired?
Yep this is 100% my thought and I'm not copied it from Chris' previous post and my coffee pot can prove it! Umm, OK I did it, but this not make it less true. All dramas now was expected and predicted when November gone in totally wrong catastrophic direction. So at some level I knew what to expect and now I'm trying to balance and keep my troubles in secret and away from my family. They and also you deserve one nice and happy Christmas, so I'll try my best to giving to others that!
Oh, only if it was able to take one of these 'few months nap', that Chris is talking about! I know then I'll could wake up with clear mind!
Thank god/goddess for existing of the brothers Gallagher!!! Or I could fall on pieces!
:violin: As Liam sing: "I think it's true what they say that the dream is borrowed. You give it back tomorrow,
Minus the sorrow". :drum::drum:

Enough for me, better let's concentrate on you!

Chris, tell me the end of the book, tell me :boink: ! It's possible I never to found it and I should know! This year I read about 10 books, which is less than Kay read for week. It's pathetic I know, and I feel my mind is empty cabinet, but too often I'm not in mood to invite there other persons' stories.
For now I'll trust you that you are cede tasks to the others, but will check you again at the next days LOL. Good luck with the x-rays!
Hope Cait to accept to be the presenter! I miss so much this feeling to be in a front of crowd that listen to you! Tell her to pretend she's an rock star  !

Nancy, I'm sure you'll get lot of fun with your friends, so enjoy it! Hooray for the game score!

Trudy, such a wonderful decoration, bravo! What happens with your nativity scene? I'm still waiting this donkey to be added! LOL  Hope to find new top to wear for Christmas, I know you already have lot of stuff, but if this will give you special feeling just go for it!

Rae, oh, yummy and lovely christmas plans you have, enjoy it!

Kay, hope the foot is improving!

Jean, yep, I hate the delivery prices, too! The story of my life: orders cost more than the gifts I'm ordered  ! Hope the family history newsletter was ready on time and will be mailed!
WOW, I'm very impressed by your poinsettia! You got it from six years, that's lots of time, and care for so whimsical creature! But it's totally worth it for Such a beauty!
