Good morning, my lovely O-Fam! It looks like it is a beautiful, sunny day and there is a nice breeze coming in the window. Perfect weather to be outside.

How was everyone's "weekend?"
Yesterday was a decent day. The weather was crummy so I wasn't able to be outside and I declared it a housework-free day. I did the dishes and started a load of laundry but that was about it. I started another scrap page and will finish it up today. Scott and Leah were coming back to go out on the lake a bit but with the weather being uncooperative, they stayed at her house instead so I didn't even have to cook dinner- we had leftovers! :whoo:

I have a tele-appt with my ankle dr this morning. I hope it isn't an issue to switch to that since the is no way I can make it in-person at this point in time. After that, I have some deadheading to do for some flowers and sweep up the patio a bit. I should still stay away from the hand clippers since my knuckle is still twice the normal size.

Gratitudes:
-my mom sounds so much better, my dad emailed me to say the same
-low humidity - at least at the moment
-that my mood has improved and I am back to meditating at night, it really makes such a difference
-all of you for putting up with me when I am cranky

xoxo

Trudy- how wonderful that you and your Gary had a nice time together. It is too bad that his knees hurt him and that he didn't enjoy the hike as much as he should have. Does he have a time frame to get them done or is he still researching it as it seems all Garys must do first and forever? *wink*
How exciting to have you trip booked. I agree, long windy roads at night are not fun to drive, especially if you have been out all day.
Bwuahahah!!!! That cracked me about your Gary needing to get to know you first as an indication of his planning ;)

Kay- that is such a bummer that you weren't able to get the items you needed shopping. It is like when you et what you need, the risk is worth it but when you don't, not so much. I had a dream that I had to shop in a mall last night. *shudders*
Your weather patterns are fascinating. So different than what I stereotypically think of for NM. Stay safe and dry!

Jean- what a process to get books from the library but good that you can do it. My library website has a glitch and isn't letting me put any holds on books. I am not really wanting to go inside and wander just yet.
what did you end up doing yesterday, were you productive or were you able to kick back and watch sports (while you can, looks like they might get shut down again if things don't improve)
I know-- 8 years!! Scott had just turned 16 and Leah was a month shy of 16 when they started dating. Scott learned to drive on the trips to her house every weekend.
The photo of W was when quarantine first began and the kids were bored. So funny!
when Iworked from home for ACDSee and I ran chats and challenges, that is when the entire famly- Gary too- had to have my attention. ITA- the sign would not be of any use to get them to stay away and the dogs might just be better than the humans hahaha!!!!

Morning ladies... another warm and sunny day and tomorrow will be even warmer. Our plans to go Whale Watching on Thursday have changed and we are now all booked to go tomorrow! I am very excited as they say there have been lots to see out there on the big ocean! We leave at 1pm and even though it will be a warm day they want us to bring an extra layer of clothing to wear. Masks to be worn also, but that's ok I don't mind that at all. We charged up the battery for the good camera (haven't used it in ages!!). I will go today to grab a couple of energy bars for a snack and we are good to go. Today DH wants to go for a drive and see if the vineyards are open for wine tastings, even if they are not it is a beautiful drive around the area! Won't be quite as much fun as the wine tour we did with my hiking group, but still pretty darn good to be doing it with my sweetie! I still haven't gotten caught up with things here, so that is my goal this morning. Someone keeps wanting to have coffee on the deck LOL.

Chris - It is so nice that you are feeling so very much better and that your Mom is too! I hope that you enjoy your no housework day and that you get to be outside a lot! Hope your appt with your ankle dr. goes well! Do you just talk on the phone or do you do a facetime/zoom type of call? Isn't it great when you don't have to cook and you can just heat up some leftovers!! You have been doing lots of scrapping, that is so great! I need to get to the gallery to see your pages!

Kay - Hope you have better luck with your grocery shopping today than you did trying to find the purse you wanted! I stopped carry a purse years ago and now only have a nice large wallet that has a carrying strap. It sure improved my back! It holds everything that I need including my iPhone. Anything else like my comb etc. I just throw in the car. It is nice not to lug around a heavy purse anymore! My goodness you sure do get wild weather where you are! Glad that you were able to get back to sleep after the boomer though!

Jean - That is great that you could get your books! Hope that you enjoy the read! It would be nice if the sun came back out for you soon, but without the blazing heat of course LOL.

Time to get busy and get caught up here and then I will get breakfast for the two of us and we can get out the door. Hopefully there will be some good wine for us to sample today! Have a lovely Monday everyone!

It's a lovely, mostly sunny day, a little cool. This morning was H&S and I did bills, etc., and then to the studio where I actually worked on the new drawing. I found a bit with the words "fear of trouble" that might have been the title, but then I found a perfect bit left over that begins "they had hoped" which I think will be it. When I showed DH a pic of it so far and explained the words he said they look a little wilted. Which is wonderful as the lines began with the idea of a drawing I did back when of drooping daffodils.

Yesterday stayed gray and wet but I did get a little done and we had popcorn and crossword puzzles plus hockey (sorry Trudy about the Bruins) and later basketball. Not exciting, but we had a good dinner.

Chris, so nice to have sun. Nice not having to make dinner last night too. For the library, have you tried calling to do holds that way? Hope the Dr "visit" went well.

Trudy, I'm so excited for your whale watching trip. Have a great time and let us know all about it. I would so love to go with you!

I too am grateful for sunshine
starting a new drawing
