The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
New day, new week, new month!
Looks to be a very pretty day, sunny and cool for August.

The good news is that I am now on Day Two of ACDSee not crashing. I am hoping that maybe it is going to work out ok. I even got to scrap a page yesterday. I was able to tag a few things and backed up the database I am going to have backups coming out of my ears. You know how you save a LO obsessively when your computer crashes in the middle of scrapping? That is how I am feeling about backing the DB up. LOL I wish I could Ctrl-S and that would be it, but if I make sure that I back up each day, I won't lose all of my work.

The babies are better, the bandages came off and they look bad (Imogene had lumps under each armpit removed so she is shaved and incisions on both sides, really weird looking!!), but are healing. Rats have very fast metabolisms so they heal quickly which is a plus with Cait leaving tomorrow. I have no idea what I am doing today, little of this, little of that and if I can, yard work after lunch. It is going to be so quiet here when the kids leave.
Anyway-- have a fun day and enjoy!

Sending you gentle hugs, Kay. Can you get your hands on Voltaren gel, if that is something safe for you to use? I swear by the pain patches of that but the gel is also helpful. Are you hosting a challenge this month, LMK if you are and need any help.

@tanteva That dream is beautiful, made me choke up more than a bit. I think your interpretation is the right one <3

@nancyr The weather up here has been so nice if you like it cold haha!!!! My electric bill is going to be happy since we haven't needed the AC on all week. We got some rain yesterday and overnight but the sun is out again.
What book are you reading? It has to be good to wait until midnight to get started.

xoxo

Another quick in and out... back is still 'iffy' so another day in the recliner. A very cool morning with light rain - it was 65* until 11 AM! Enjoying the coolness.
Chris, I am not hosting a challenge this month but thanks for the offer to help.

Hello all. Sorry I've been sketchy on here. My youngest daughter and grandson are still here and we've been super busy. Yes, Nancy @nancyr we got the game situation straightened out. He's happy now. I couldn't deny him $21, now, could I???

Kay @BrightEyes I wish you could get your back straightened out. SO annoying!

Chris @faerywings good news about the babies and I hope your mood is better. Your ACDsee is probably what your biggest problem was - that and the babies. Bless their little hearts and feet. Tiny feet. Thanks for reminding me about the free Amazon book.

Good news, we finally found a dr we like! This is #4. He's a doll - came into the room dressed like a cowboy. We both had on checked shirts with the pearl snaps. LOL He's in the same building as the last 2. The first 1 (that passed away) was in another place. He's sort of a local celebrity - he plays in a very popular band.

Asher spent the night last night - we slept together - he's getting so big, but at least he doesn't thrash around in his sleep like he used to. We finally got to sleep about 3:30. I swear, that kid never gets sleepy. I was so sleepy when I went to bed that he didn't really bother me too much. He went back up to Adrienne's while we went to the dr, but walked back over as soon as we got home. He's laying on the bed playing on his phone and Daisy's laying with him. He and Sam have kind of made up. Sam's never been around kids, and Asher kept thinking Sam didn't like him. I told him that Sam didn't really like anybody. They kind of bonded last night. Sam lays on my bed every night and Asher was on it last night, so Sam decided he had to share it. Haha
It always has to be the cat's "way".

Waving to all.

Tuesday morning here, and I'm soon off to work. Working today & tomorrow, and then I have 12 days off, unless someone get's sick or something, but I do hope I will get some free time. Next week I want to go to IKEA. I have this idea that Tuesday morning-noon time is the time with less people at stores, so we're aiming for that. I love going to IKEA - just looking at everything, eat at the restaurant & buy some small stuff. This time I want a tea pot and a nice tea mug to go with it. Probably some bedding & towels.

Then we might do some short road trips. Just to see something different, we'll see. Depends on the weather I guess.

Oh, and if anyone wants to see a great British crime show: see if you can find this one:

Amazingly well done!
