Hi everybody!
It's nice to know that Oscraps is once again fully operational! Yippee! I have a LO or two to add, but only about one, I didn't get much scrapping done last month. What a crazy month!
I feel like I haven't talked to anybody on here and so much is going on.
First things first, Vince should be home within the next couple of weeks. I've heard various days, and I couldn't tell you even if I did know because everybody knows that tons of foreign spies hang out at Oscraps. What, you didn't know that? Oscraps is more important than you thought!!
Second, we had an ultrasound and we are finally having a boy! YAY! A couple of you might have seen the ultrasounds on Facebook. Well, Vince is happy to say the least. He grew up with two sisters, zero brothers, and then he had a daughter and a step daughter in his first marriage and two little girls with me. The man deserves a son!
Bad news... well. Gen's been difficult over the summer so far. I mean, she's still my sweet funky munky she always was, she's just... I don't know. A lot of work. This is the longest she's gone without receiving any services since she was born, basically. I made some calls asking about Summer programs and found out that her enrollment wasn't properly done. I feel like I already told you guys all this. But anyway, come to find out that she's diagnosed with moderate autism and ADHD as well as her primary condition, and she is considered SEVERELY impaired with her brain condition. The doctor's label on it doesn't mean anything as far as how I see her or how she is, but it still took the wind out of my sails a little bit, I couldn't say why.
What's more, I talked to some people from Vince's unit, and they said he's going to be gone a lot after the first of the year, and probably will deploy again next summer. So that's a big bummer, and I probably will have to quit school after getting my Associate's degree and not finish my Bachelor's degree, like I'd really wanted to do. And there's not much you can do with an Associate's degree in education. I might be able to be a teacher's assistant, but that's not going to earn a salary big enough so that I could take over being the breadwinner when Vince retires like I'd hoped. *sigh*
Anyway, I'm super glad to see everything back up and running here! I had been missing you guys.
