And it is Monday again. The weekend was another one of the time-warp kind. It went really fast and really slow at the same time.

My parents came up for a quick visit yesterday morning. They wanted to show me the new car. I think they were using that as an excuse to come up and visit but that is OK. ;) My dad is much more comfortable about driving although he won't go on the highways just yet. Luckily, there are backroads to get all over North NJ so he has plenty of options.

I am still having issues with ACDSee. Every time I tried to move folders using Ctrl-M, it would lock up. But I cut Cut and Paste folders with no problems. I updated Windows, ran CCleaner and Malwarebytes. So strange.:noidea:
That meant I got no scrapping done but maybe I can do that today.
I am taking W to the vet for her vaccines/checkup. I am going to have them look at her teeth and a lump that she has in her armpit. It feels like a lipoma but better that they have a record of it in her chart. Oh-- and the small bump that I think is her microchip on her shoulder. Feels like a chip and Cait told me that sometimes they migrate down. Again- good to have it checked out and recorded.

Our lawn mower finally gave up yesterday too. Gary found one for sale on Craigslist and might go and pick that up today if he thinks that there is no way to fix ours. It was FILs who gave it to us years and years ago. The handle is busted and has had issues with leaking gas, but darn it, we don't have the money for this. *grumble* It sucks having to "adult" all of the time.

All in all, it should still be a pretty decent day. I have Gary, the kids, the animals. Don't really need much more than that!
Except you. I am happy that I have all of you too!!!

Nancy- I hope you are having a wonderful time on the cruise!

Trudy- been loving the pics of the family on FB

Felis- your dad sounds like my dad! When he is ready to go, he waits impatiently and lets everyone around him know it. hah!! How funny that all of you ended up wearing black dresses to shop. Bet you looked elegant and amazing.
I haven't read the play- Cursed Child I think? I read and watched Magical Beasts but should add the other one to my lists as well. JK Rowling is brilliant. :)

Hugs to everyone!!xo

Good morning, ladies. I've got some work backlog that came in so my morning will be busy. At lunch time I have a few errands to run and will take Taz for a walk. Dinner will be easy today. Got a steak for D and my salmon has already been grilled so I just need to toss some into a salad for my dinner. We stopped at the organic market on the way back from the trailer yesterday. Their meat prices are a bit cheaper than our local organic store. I was able to load up on chicken, got a big piece of wild salmon and a sirloin for D.

I need to go post the LO I did while out at the trailer this wkend. It felt good to play. B/c the laptop typing is wonky I figured I'd come home and post it from my desktop computer. Much easier and less frustrating.

I will be searching Craigs List every couple of days to see if I can find an armoire or two for sale at a good price. I'm trying to utilize space for storage as I have a lot of clothes so its time to replace a few pieces over the upcoming months.

I've decided to sell my sony mirrorless camera and lenses and want to buy a fuji x100f. I was going to upgrade with a newer sony but realize that a camera better suited for street photography and skin tones would get used more. It is super light, no zoom but don't need it, as I have my dslr's, and it gets amazing color and light. I've been back and forth about this for a few yrs but what decided it is the fact that I haven't hardly used the sony camera so if I upgrade it, will it get used any more frequently than the other? So, that tells me that that the fuji might be a better choice. I'll have to take pics of everything and get it onto CL this week. I'm going to head out tomorrow morning to colony farm to take some photos of birds and flowers. I'll take Taz with me and head over at 7:30, before I start my workday. It's only a 10 minute drive so not too far.

Chris - we have had to replace our lawnmower a few times over the last 5 yrs or so. We used to have a guy who fixed them fairly cheaply but he's retired now. D can fix some things but not his area of expertise. He impressed a neighbor at the trailer yesterday, she was admiring our outdoor motion sensor light, he told her what to get, she got it and he went to her trailer and installed it for her in about 10 minutes. She was thrilled. She would have had no idea how to do this, neither would I...I told her that's why I keep him around LOL. He's handy :)

Felis - funny about everyone wearing black to go shopping LOL. My D gets impatient too. I ignore him and secretly laugh inside at his impatience. When we go into town shopping in the States I tell him the general shopping plan and give him the option to stay home but if he comes, he is not allowed to complain about how long I take. Poor guy....I usually take a long time in my stores LOL.

I'd better get going now. Hope you all have a great day!

Another nice day today. Yesterday was not as I expected. Well before time for the alarm I decided I wanted to sleep more than go to the genealogy picnic (and DH wasn't thrilled about going) so I turned off the alarm and told DH he had a good surprise. He said I could use him as an excuse as his back was bothering him, maybe from Saturday yard work. Then in the afternoon before I would have been home I got a phone call (I only use our land line!) from a distant cousin I hadn't talked to in two years. I would have missed her call if I'd gone. So glad I was home. Friday DH got up early for his bird survey and decided he didn't feel like it and went back to bed. Wonder what's up with us. This morning was his Hum & Strum and he had a good time with that and his back feels better.

Chris, so good your Dad has a car again and can drive at least some. Hope you get to scrapping today and don't have problems with the computer. W is just the sort to have a migrating chip, so sure hope that's what it is and that the other isn't anything either.

Rae, you are such a busy lady with all that work and life too. The new camera idea sounds great and for sure if you're not using the SONY it makes sense to make a change.

Felis, love that you saw the humor in the shopping trip situation and all of you dressed in black. I've got four weeklies to do, but one is now assembled waiting for writing. Hope you get to yours also.

Trudy, Nancy, waving to you on your good times.

Good morning girls,
One friend from the work will go on vacation, so next few days I'll get part of her work too. Which mean I'll be probably too busy. Is not as something so interesting happened instead. I feels like this summer I just take it too easy and squander much of my time at music, friends or TV. It's still the best summer even not much productive. I don't practise any of my hobbies, but you knows the usual excuse - it's too hot. Or at least I hope that next season I will be more responsible!

Chris, congrats for the new car of your parents and wish them seamlessly driving! Sounds like you had nice visit. It's always good idea to keep your pets vet chart updated. Hope your worries are unfounded!
Sorry also for your computer issues! Oh and the lawn mower, just when is most needed, too bad! We need to change our string trimmer, because dad fix it too many times already. But here at the garden center you can get almost everything on deal (sometimes even on half price) at the Christmas sale, when they have weak season. So we will have to wait. It's not fun to have weed around the walls by hand, but hope it wasn't be necessary.
Oh and your final row is so sweet and so true  ! I'm so grateful for that too!

Rae, your decision to change the camera, sounds logical, hope you'll sell it quick! And good luck with finding new armoire! Will wait to see these colony farm photos! Oh and I just love your LO! It's still difficult for me accept that J And B aren't sisters as I thought at first. And you definitely are a lucky woman with husband which is skillful and patient at the same time.

Jean, oh this sounds so much as me. I often cancelled some plan just in the last moment, because don't feels as the energy of the day is good for it. Some wants to call it caprice, but I prefer to insist it's my six sense :D . SO good that you aren't miss this cousin call! Good that your husband's back feels better!
I really wanted to work on my weeklies this morning, but first come here to wrote this and now I saw an interview on YouTube which I'm not watch yet, and then I don't feels as I'll have enough time to create something, before to have start my day, so bether to choose the music. I really feels very destructive to knows that I don't have to watch for the ends of the timeline.

Hugs and kisses, my lovelies! :cofbath:
