Daily Ooos: Monday, April 5: Yes, Faery is Alive Edition :)

I am alive even if I feel like death warmed over, chewed up, and spit out.
I felt absolutely fine until I got into bed and it was all over. All of a sudden, I was freezing, I had every last blanket pulled, tucked my pj pants into my socks so they wouldn't ride up. Then I shivered. Finally fell asleep only to wake up an hour later burning up. Everything hurt, my skin, my muscles, my joints, my head. It feels like I have a really awful Lyme herx and a migraine going on at the same time. But the good news is that I have dealt with them before and often at the same time so I will survive.
*grabs mic, starts stinging about cakes left out in the rain. drops mic, clutches skull that feels like is it cracking open from the inside.* Well you get the picture!
The coffee is helping so I am grateful for the little things.

Love that you are fully vaccinated. Don’t love all of these symptoms you are having! Not looking forward to tomorrow for me. But looking forward to being fully vaccinated! Be back later to talk!

@faerywings sure hope you feel better soon! I am NOT taking the vaccine! I've heard too many horror stories! I figure if I lived with a husband who had it and I didn't take it, I'm probably safe. (I really think I had it last year in January before they knew, or were telling, what it was!)
I don't do vaccines, anyway! Never have and never will!

Morning ladies... A gorgeous day today and we are heading up to the Lake for a visit with the In-Laws. It has been far too long since we checked in on them. They have been mostly keeping to themselves and only go out when they do their seniors grocery shopping. I think they get pretty lonely sometimes, however they did have a visit from a couple that they are friends with, socially distant sitting outside. They have been so good at following the rules! They both have had their first vaccination but no idea when they will get the second one yet. Tomorrow will be a day that I can finally get some scrapping time in, DH will be back at work and will be taking his lunch there instead of coming home. Not looking forward to having to pack a lunch for the rest of the week LOL. Had a nice face time with our son and family and everyone sure had a great time during their short visit. Back to school for the kiddos tomorrow. Will probably hear from Heather tomorrow as I am sure they are busy keeping the boys occupied and doing family stuff today. Went to the nursery yesterday afternoon, but did not find anything that I really liked in the way of a flowering bush to replace the Hydrangea that died over the winter. Oh well lots of time to worry about that, it was good to just meander through the nursery. DH and I went for a nice walk in the sunshine, but the breeze is still so cool!

@faerywings - Ugh on having the bad reaction from your second shot! Hope it doesn't last too long! This is why I want that darn J&J one LOL if I wait long enough maybe it will happen?? By the sounds of things going on with getting everyone vaccinated here it won't be anytime soon anyways. Keep warm and safe inside and take care of you today!!

@LSlycord - Hoping that you do not have these bad symptoms from your second shot! But like you say at least you will be fully vaccinated!

Chris @faerywings I can't remember when you got your shot. We got ours about a week and a half ago and my husband has been down for the count for the last two days! He doesn't think it's a reaction, but I do. I'm so sorry that you're feeling like this. If you're getting ready to sing "Someone left the cakes out in the rain" you must really feel bad. That is one of the most depressing songs ever, but I LOVE it!! I'm picturing soggy cakes on a beautiful, but wet, red and white checkered tablecloth.

Feel better soon!!!!! That's an order from Cici The Dictator!!

Trudy @taxed4ever I love how you worry about the IL's. It's sure a rewarding feeling (from the other side) to know somebody's there to help you out. Our grands are always there for us and of course, dd and sil. It's such a comfort that they are so close, too.

Vicky @vickyday I totally see where you're coming from. I'm just afraid that we're moving toward the place where you'll have to have them to be able to do lots of things. If you never fly, I wouldn't worry about it. They're going to start making you show proof - even our SIL (who's had Covid) went and got one because he flies back and forth to Florida once a month. You all know how I feel about flying - if I never had to again, it would be a blessing. Our DD (who lives out here says she's not getting one, but they love to travel too much, so I think she'll have to relent. She's had Covid also and they've both had the antibody test, but SIL still got one.

Good evening ladies. I am anxious to hear how Chris feels tomorrow. And since I get my vaccine in the morning, I am anxious to know how I feel tomorrow too.

@taxed4ever I’m glad that you got the chance to walk around the nursery even if you didn’t find what you want to replace your hydrangea. I have always wanted a hydrangea and have never had one. I was actually quite surprised that they do well here. So I’m thinking of adding one.

My body my rules is valid for inside too! Don't let pharmacy industry to control you! And if some hypocrite tries to convince you that you put others in risk remind him how many people died in car accident, but no one seams ready to stop driving in the name of others comfort!

I'm leaving my life in the Lord's hands, anyway. If I am meant to go out of this world with the COVID virus, no vaccine is going to stop that! We all have an appointment with death ordained before the foundation of the world! That's my story and I'm sticking with it, lol!
