Happy Monday!!

Who needs a bit of sunshine? It is cloudy and cool again so I am adding some sunshine to this thread. Focus on the beauty and warmth of nature today!
th

Did all of you have a nice rest of the weekend? It was very quiet here. The kids have this last week of classes and the following week is Finals Week. They have been busy in their rooms working on papers and assignments. I am semi-worried about what will happen when they are done with their courses. Will they have time to relax and decompress or will they get really bored, really quickly and have all of the insanity hit them hard? My guess is that they are going to flip between the two options fast and often.

I think I am caught up with the things I needed to do for the Cheery Os and I started to scrap another page. I am almost done with that one and will keep plugging along. I ordered Gary's gift from my mom and Christopher's gifts from us. He *loves* Mad Libs so I got him a couple of books and he should have them soon.

Today I am painting the island cabinet to freshen it up. I hope my hands stop hurting so much. My fingers and toes are still very achy.

Gratitudes:
- (I am coming up blank!)
- it will get warmer by the end of the week
- I can't wait to plant seeds
- I made a good dinner last night (homemade biscuits and turkey gravy)
- as always, my O-Fam!

hugs!!

Trudy- oh no, that is not good about your headache. I had a bad one by the end of the day yesterday. At least you had yummy coffee to make your morning a bit better. Did you get to be outside and pick up the debris? That would have been relaxing. Well, to me it would be! I hope that you and your Gary enjoyed your time with music and wine bottling. Any wine drinking?
Ew, ew, and EW!!!! I am not asking you for food suggestions again!!

Nancy- how are your knees holding up with this crazy weather? I bet you are very, very happy that they are both done. I think that I should stay away from that TV show. I see ads for it and am intrigued but I have a feeling that it would make me mad and I would end up yelling at the TV.
Garbage weather is a great way to put it. It looks like tomorrow will be nice then clouds and rain again until next Sunday. :yell:

Felis- hahaha!! You and me both, lazy and unmotivated!! *nods* Although I think we react differently. When I have nice weather, that makes me want to do lots of stuff outside. When it isn't nice I want to do *nothing.* Heh. I can't believe that you are ankle to get outside and sunbathe a bit. So jealous- I am wearing three layers: a T-shirt, long sleeve t-shirt and a sweatshirt.

Jean- How wonderful to wake up to birdsongs. I don't think you are lazy *at all*!! You always have stuff that you are doing or working on. I don't think Felis is lazy either.
Yes, soft pretzels were on the menu. I have a recipe for copycat Auntie Anne's that is really good and they have been on the Quarantine To-Do list already si I switched it for this. Onion Rings-- I should see if I can get them in the Walmart Order. Shop Rite will be too late unless we change it to Sat. night. So many good ideas!!!
I am off to see your violets LO

hugs everyone!

good morning - it is cloudy and chilly and I need some sun! Luther has been walked and at least it was not in the drizzle. Last evening we took him out and it was a light drizzle and I really am tired of it but at least it was not steady rain. Got more scrapping done and that is good. Yesterday was fun as the MSG (our local hockey TV channel) played the 3 games that were the Devils Stanley Cup clinching. It was so fun to see them again. Then of course watched the newest episode of Outlander. It was good but changed a bit from the books but it was still the essences of the story and it was really good. Today not much going on LOL. My son is happy as he is now working from home again but realized it was not that bad as they all were super careful!

Chris thanks for the sun photo I have almost forgotten what it looks and feels like. I want to sit outside and be warm! It will be interesting what will you kids be doing for the summer. Mrs. America is worth watching no matter if you will yell or not. I was so young then and Arizona was not a hotbed one way or the other. I was so focused on school work and graduating that I did not know all the backstories. It might be good for Cait and Scott to see this. My knees are doing well and I am so happy! Thanks for asking.

Trudy hope the weather stayed nice and you got your yard straighten up!

Waving to all
Grateful that I walk

Hello lOvelies!
I'm back with another music idea today! This time it is for Jean's husband.
Jean I don't know did Jet are popular at US, but they are huge thing for EU. So the frontman Nic Cester make project during the quarantine: people around the world sing and play along to his track and record their performing. Then his team mix this and make one collaborative video. As you was said that you are made video for yourself, it comes to my mind that your husband may be interested to try this. If he have free time and interest! Just let him know. For me as a fan was very interesting!
More info. https://www.musicglue.com/niccester/collaborative-video
The first video that was made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFVXR4p3RYU
Here can see the song that have to be performing now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjEjzVZs47A

Oh, and you are so right about the laziness, it's not necessary something wrong, just a character trait on which I have to work more! You're so smart  !

Chris, absolutely, we are as a mirror, I'm on the opposite side with the hot weather! Oh I will keep my fingers crossed only for As on the kids exams! Hope they will relax and decompress! I love my free time, but I just can't turn off this little voice who reminds me for my financial situation, I know they both have similar worries for their working plans this summer.

Nancy, I wasn't saw your layouts before, (I really have to spend more time at the gallery) and OMG they are awesome! Luther is so big I'm jealous!

So I had successful day trying to not be lazy and crossed lots of little boring homework tasks today. And now will going for movie night. Some of you was recommended me the "Murder on the Orient Express" and it's finally comes on the TV here, so I want to watch this.
I'm sorry you all have to deal with bad weather, was prepared this
sunny hug especially for you, but my camera is trick me again and the quality is so poor, sorry!

We do have sunshine today (but rain forecast rest of the week) and when I got up I had to open a window (chilly out) to fully hear a goldfinch singing. The males are now bright yellow again and so delightful. Those things make me feel more cheerful. So here's my bit of sunshine:

Chris, I hadn't thought so much about what the kids will do/feel once finals are over. Imagine you're right it will vary. Any chance of them actually working? On the carnival theme, it's starting to sound lots of fun. Hope you get all you need in those grocery pickups, sure nice you got them scheduled. Wish we could get the sunshine and warmer (not hot) days we need.

Nancy, I guess your timing was good for the knees to be ready for all the dog walking you do. Good to hear they are being fine. It's refreshing to see your pages in the gallery and to hear you're enjoying doing them.

Felis, thanks for the music info. I've passed it along to DH but he is currently listening to the governor, so it'll be a bit. Next Monday H&S is going to try a Zoom session, but they can't really play together because the timing of the participants varies too much. Still they'll be able to do something. Thanks so much for thinking of him. Also thanks for the garden photo. It feels so warm and welcoming. It may not be what you wanted it to look like, but it looks like it could be a painting. Glad you got some things crossed off your list (no matter what, that feels good) and enjoy the movie.

So grateful for the sunshine and birdsong
all of you here
being well

Hi Ladies I am so very late getting here and now I have to deal with our Internet provider on a chat, as it is time to renew and hopefully they will offer us a better deal. So I will just say Hi to you all and hope that your day has been filled with lovely things! I will catch up with all of you tomorrow and get my behind the scene things done then too! Had a 2hr. facetime with the boys this morning and then right at lunch our son called and we chatted for almost an hour too. So needless to say, not much has been accomplished today. Oh Felis I left a little link to a video for you in the Chatter thread, but I might have to copy it and give it to you here tomorrow. Ok gotta run :sorry:
