Wasn't it *just* Monday? It was. How did the week go past and I barely noticed it?
This aging/time-speeding-up thingy is for the birds. pfffftt

At least the sun is out. 38*F but at least it is sunny.

How was your weekend? Besides going too quickly? I did a bunch of housework until 3 pm and then I worked on the puzzle until dinner. It was too cold and soggy to do anything outdoors. I started a 10-Day Spring Clean Challenge yesterday. The first day was to "clean up high." Grabbed my cleaning wand, some rags, and the ladder and got to work. Vacuumed right after because there was lots of dust.
That was the bulk of my day. Today is "Clean Your Favorite Window." I don't have a favorite window and I recently cleaned my picture window. I think that what I will do instead is take the plastic off of the windows that are covered and wipe them down. Heh, the plastic on the window in my office area is already falling down, won't be hard to yank the rest of it.
The annual furnace cleaning service is set for today and I don't know if Gary will want to walk today after that. He had a bad day yesterday, spent most of it on the sofa and napped.

That's all of the excitement in the Faery Household today...
Hope yours is more exciting, but only in good ways
xoxo!

@vickyday How did you do with sorting through the craft supplies? I bet your DDs and GDDs will be thrilled to take some of that off of your hands.
LOL! Whatever! Teenagers!
Isn't that the truth? I am so glad I am past that stage LOL
Hope that you had better luck scrapping your vacation pics.

@LSlycord Great news about Gainsville and the new house. I already have an "acceptable distance" range in my head for Caitlyn and Tom so I understand why you wouldn't go outside of that range too. I don't have much of a say (really-- any say *G*) in Cait's decision but at this point I like to pretend I do hahaha

@Cherylndesigns Uh-oh! Airport shenanigans are not fun CiCi-Shenanigans. Sorry to hear that your plans fell through.
At least you didn't have to rush out of the house very early :/
You'll appreciate this- the other day I was out checking my flowers and was saying to Scott that I thought the phlox didn't make it. The woody stem was bare and only had a bit of "bend" to it. They all laugh at me because I hang on to plants well past their "dead" stage - just in case... Well, the phlox looks like it is alive!! :dance2: I saw some green shoots coming up a few inches away from the dry stalk. I want to give it a few more days because the apple mint traveled underneath the entire 3'x3' bed and is poking out of the soil near the phlox. The mint leaves look and smell completely different. I have to remind myself to *be patient* and not mess around with it. Cuz you know me, I am Ms. Patience Personified. :floorlaugh:

Enjoy the day!

Oh, I forgot again:
MeMeMonday
Yoga. I am all knotted up from leaning over the puzzle, I need some yoga to loosen me up

HAGD!

I didn't get any more sorting done yesterday. I did fill a couple of paper grocery bags of books that I will be taking to the thrift later today. Yes, the girls will be thrilled! Not their momma, however! Not my problem, LOL!
I was blessed with very little teenager problems when raising my kids. Their teens are another story.....some of them, anyway! I would NOT want to be raising teens in this day and age! Scary!

Good Morning all!
Yes, Chris, the weekend went quickly!
Today's projects include:
my laundry from the trip
thrift store drop
groceries
.......after I enjoy my coffee! I missed my morning coffee last week. The place we had vouchers for breakfast had the strongest coffee I have EVER tasted! I couldn't drink it, even though I had more than half a cup of hot water and cream in it! YUCK!
Later today is probably going to attend a GDD's softball game, unless rain moves in. Right now the sun is shining brightly!
I did get some catchup scrapping done yesterday. And one page set ..... day 1 of the trip.
Have a great day!

Good Morning everyone... Well I can finally say that I am Covid Free!!! :nod1: It only took 8 days!!! Yuck!! Yesterday when I still tested positive, it really bummed me out! I crawled back into bed and had yet another nap. I did manage to get the :laundry: done and DH vacuumed downstairs for me. I was not in a very good mood, so I just kind of kept to myself, poor DH I think he was getting tired of taking care of me. Now I have to slowly work on getting my strength back and getting on with life. Not sure if I will be doing the hike this week, its a tough one and I don't know if I will be ready for that yet? Looking forward to some sunny days for this week at least the weather was pretty wet and rainy while I was sick, so I couldn't have done much in the way of gardening anyway. It is so nice to be able to taste my coffee again! Its the little things right?!! The colour play looks amazing for this month so I might even try to get a page done today. I really have to work on the commission painting too, its very far behind and I am sure the lady who wants it is getting anxious for it to be done! Will try to get the :vacuuming: out and get the floors :mopping:. It might take all day, as I still feel like I have no energy at all and just thinking about it makes me tired. I tell ya, I never want to have this again!!! I think its going to be back to online grocery orders and mask wearing for me! I have to get my hair done on Thursday and I know I will be wearing a mask for that as my hairdresser asks that her clients wear a mask anyway.

@faerywings - What a great idea to do a spring cleaning challenge! I am afraid that my list is so long that it will take more than 10 days to get it done! I have however cleaned up high in my kitchen, glad that job is done! Now to get the rest of the house cleaned up high, ugh!! All the walls need washing too, especially in the bathrooms, hopefully I can get going on them soon! Once you get into cleaning mode, then it seems to not take too long. Especially if you have the windows and doors open and air out the place right?? Sorry to hear that your Gary was not doing so well yesterday, hopefully he will feel like getting out in the fresh air again very soon!

@Cherylndesigns - Ohh no not airport shenanigans!! That is the worst!! Hopefully everything works out! I still need your crew to come and help out with my gardening LOL.

@LSlycord - Glad that the new place will not be any further away from Gainesville, it is closer to the beach though right?

@vickyday - I bet the girls will love getting your craft supplies! Yup I would not want to raise teenagers now either!! I had it pretty good with my two, but we all go through some kind of issues with out kids. Just when Heather finally got her act together, then she go so very sick and spent the next 10 years in therapy to learn how to do everything all over again. But today she has two beautiful little boys and I hope that they don't give her grief when they become teens!! We will see!

Ok that is about as long as I can be here right now. Off to the shower and maybe get some work done around the house. Have a great Monday everyone !! Stay healthy!! :waving1

Good afternoon all.

Well, I got my dates confused - usually it's the DAYS, but today it was the DATE. I thought it was the 25th (my day to do a blog post and I was working on it - I ALWAYS try to start the day before so I don't have to rush. As a backup for my ditzy brain, I always tell Chuck (Mr. Organized) to put it on HIS calendar - the day prior and the day it's due to post. Well, he walked in (i was working on it) and said "don't forget your blog post is due tomorrow. :multitasking: :rotfl:

I stopped what I was doing and went outside. I watered my ferns and all the new babies and the day lily that we moved - it's still suffering a little bit from the move. I had to give it some extra TLC and sat down and talked to it. Chris @faerywings then I came on here and read about your phlox. Sounds like there might be hope! The kids thought a couple of my flowers were dying, but I showed them some new growth. If you have any plant food, feed it (I use Miracle Grow) and really love on it - I know you do. I need to go back out and feed my day lily in a while.

I went out in the back and used my plant identifier app to see what was coming up in the big planter. Chuck took it over last year with his tomato plants and my stuff got choked out. I moved what I could (last year) but a lot of it came back up. It's just in a big "jumble), but my French tarragon is standing tall and proud. I need to move it and get it out of the weeds. There's some mint in the mix too - I swear, you can't kill that stuff and it also grows wild here. It's all along the side of the house. Casey gave me some catnip and you can't kill that either. After I found out that our cat got crazy on it, I went out and pulled it all up by the roots and threw it away. Guess what? it's come back thicker than ever. She told me that it was good for humans but I can't rememer what she said. The last two cats we've had went goofy when I gave them catnip. It's like cat crack.

Trudy @taxed4ever good news that you finally tested negative. Now you just have to get to feeling better. I DO wish we could come clean up your yard. Trudy and Chris @faerywings Roger was supposed to fly out of a small airport and they didn't have any gas - can you believe that? So, he had to go to a different airport, farther away. He was taking a small plane to a bigger airport and it was a mess. Can you believe an airport had no gas??? Crazy times. Anyway, I elected to just stay home - it was getting too complicated for me that early. Hahaha

Vicky @vickyday sounds like you're feeling better. Headaches better now, I hope? Good luck organizing and whatever else you're doing. It's always a big job.

I'm going to get off of here now and put my clothes away that I just took out of the dryer. I can't stand doing laundry, especially folding clothes. I have a load of sheets in there now - ugh - they're the worse to fold.

XOXO

Yes, thank you, Cheryl! My headaches have been better lately! I was busy today and did not get to any more organizing today.....tomorrow, tomorrow....... ;)
