Good morning and happy Monday! It is dang cold out there today. I hope that I didn't uncover my plants too early because we are well below freezing. I will be bummed if I killed them all.
Although [feel free to skip this part] that would be *perfect* since it seems like I am in another of the "can't make anything right' loops. Caitlyn decided that she *thinks* she wants a grad party but not here. (I don't blame her, my house is small and shabby and not in the cute decorative shabby-chic way). I looked at the calendar and the only sort of free day that we could do this is May 21. - hold up-- yes, in one month. Never mind that is also Scott's b-day (he probably won't care) but how in the world am I going to find a place that I can afford and pull together a party in a month? It can't be any later than that since my dad's surgery is 2 weeks later and all of this presupposes that my mom will not have her surgery before him b.c she STILL HASN'T MADE AN APPT WITH HER DR.

Enough of me whining, How was everyone's weekend/Easter? Breakfast was nice here and the rest of the day was quiet.
Just housework happening today, the septic is getting pumped so I better get some candles burning soon.

Good morning ladies. We had fun yesterday at the dog park and beach. We watched the last episodes of "The Thing About Pam" (it was good). Hopefully today my PC gets hooked up properly. Found the wireless mouse and wacom tablet yesterday but for some reason the dual monitors wouldn't work so we'll work on that today. Might be picking up another dresser for my dressing room later. Other than all that, I'll be unpacking.

I've got over-ripe bananas so might bake a banana loaf this afternoon. I'll see how tired I am from unpacking all morning.

I'm soooo tired. We went in to Mora, and bought some gardening tools & getting my meds. Now, Urban has gone to the pizza place to get us dinner. I'm not in the mood for cooking today.

We finished The Sopranos yesterday. I always get this "empty" feeling when a show is over. It's like losing a bunch of friends.

Dinner's here! YAY! I will get nourishment.

Morning everyone and I hope you all had a great Easter Sunday yesterday! We were very, very tired and stayed up way too late with our company! So much fun and lots of laughs, too much wine LOL. We played Catch Phrase and it was so much fun to laugh over some of the things we would come up with! It was so good to laugh that much again! It was a beautiful sunny day yesterday and so when everyone left, we got into the backyard and did some major work out there. DH power washed the back deck and then cut the grass. I did a lot of weeding and everything is looking so nice again! We are both stiff and sore, but it was so good to be outside in the sunshine! My Azalea's are starting to bloom and soon the Rhodo's will be too. I just love this time of year, but my goodness the pollen is very heavy this year! DH and I both slept like the dead last night and now it is pouring rain and we are bottling a red wine this morning. I have had a call from Heather and the boys and Jonah is home today from work as he is not feeling well. Hope it isn't Covid because he has refused to get vaccinated! Sure hope Heather gets a quiet day tomorrow when the kids are back to school and hopefully Jonah is feeling up to going back to work. Hope to hear from Isaac and Sadie today too. I think that they went to the new "Secrets of Dumbledore" Movie yesterday and would love to hear how it was. I hope to have a nice quiet day tomorrow and get caught up here! I am so far behind I figure I am first LOL. Sorry no time for personals today, gotta go and fill the wine bottles. Have a great day everyone!

Eva @tanteva I meant to tell you that The Sopranos was one of our favorite shows EVER. We never watched it until it came on streaming - it was on network TV for years, but we never watched it. I was sad when it ended, too. I downloaded the theme song to my iPhone and listen to it occasionally. LOVE that theme song. Another great show (I downloaded their theme song too) is "Bosch". It's a cop show in Los Angeles. I have several theme songs on my playlist.

Chris @faerywings you sound so frustrated! You'll figure something out, I have faith in you. Glad you had a nice breakfast yesterday. I'm in recovery mode - we ate way too much last night.

I'll try to pop back in - I need to get motivated here. LOL

When Sopranos was on Swedish TV, I didn't watch it. However, it was after a show I used to watch, so I heard the theme song. Downloaded it, and have loved it ever since. Haven't seen Bosch, will have to look into that.
