GooOOood morning, O-Zies! And a happy Monday too.

Is everyone out of their Easter celebration coma? Good food, family, and fun for all of you? Sure hope so.

Easter was chaotic at my brother's and I felt like I was mediating between different warring factions of my family. Ok, so that might be a *slight* bit of hyperbole. My parents were bickering about buying the new car. My brother was bickering about how SIL was running late with some of the food prep. Scott was cranky about needing to leave early (He and Leah were able to come last minute) and the plan was that he was going to take Cait's car home and Cait and I were going to catch a ride home with Brendan. Then he said didn't want to drive and it turned out he didn't even bring his license. *grumble*

Boys! (Nancy-- relate to this at all? LOL)

But we made it through ok and now today I have to catch up on so much stuff. I kept saying over the weekend, I have to write this down on my list or yup, I gotta do that too. Did I do any of that? Pfft.

It is going to be another nice day, so I have yard work at my carrot if the work is the stick.

Sharon- how is your knee today? Hope the pain is gone. or at least to the point that it isn't bothering you too much.

Nancy- driving to my brother's we really noticed how much ahead they are than us with the weather. We are still a week or so behind with the blooms. Sounds like a wonderful walk with Luther.
How fascinating that your dinners have such variety. I have never heard of labneh and freekeh.

Rae- what a nice quiet dinner you must have had. when I was getting done, the stylist was saying how she makes pizza crusts with cauliflower. I really want to try that. Do you have a recipe for one?
Too funny about Taz barking at the raccoon- does he spike up when he does that? Jaida spikes all of the time when she barks at other dogs.

Trudy- looked amazing from the pic I saw on FB of your hike.
How crazy that your taste buds are so sensitive to sweet things so quickly. How long with you be away? Enjoy the time with the grands!

good morning! It is cloudy but no rain. Yesterday was lovely. It was amazing we all made it to the restaurant at the same time. Really within minutes. And of course I was waiting on my DH and son to be ready. The food was delicious and the fact the boys could keep going back for seconds, thirds and maybe fourths was great. Only problem with buffets is that you don't get to bring home left overs. Came home and watched hockey. Today is more of the same. Walk Luther and watch hockey.

Chris yes I totally relate! Glad though that it all worked out. I bet being with Christopher helped!

Trudy saw the photos on FB and looked like an awesome hike. The view from the top was stunning. It is so fun when our MGs enjoy what we enjoy. Your dinners sounds yummy! Have fun with the grandkids!

Rae sounds like a calm weekend and awesome dinner. How funny Taz and guarding you all from the raccoon. And yes dogs really do have different barks. Luther's bark is so different when he knows who is coming to the door vs when a stranger comes to the door.

Sharon hope the knee feels better!

Morning ladies... I am pretty much all ready to head off to Courtney for the week. DH will be joining us on Friday as he took the day off to come up and help out with the yard work etc that needs to be done at our son's place. Poor Jackie is working full time and taking the kids to all their extra curricular activities and trying to keep the house and yard work done too. So she has not gotten much done in the way of clean up in the yard work dept. I will try to get some of it done while the kids are at school, but DH is happy to have some work to do while he is there over the weekend! We will be back home late Sunday night, it should be a fun week spent with the kids! Not sure if I will have to take the kids to their extra things they usually do, but I am certainly willing to do that, so they don't miss anything that they regularly do. I am also taking along my digi scrap stuff so I can perhaps catch up here at the O also. Along with walking Storm everyday, I should be very busy :becky:

Chris - Yikes sounds like everyone took their grumpy pills yesterday LOL. It can always be interesting when the whole family gathers together for special events. I hope that your nephew at least had a great time! Good luck with getting all of your to do list done today! Have fun out in the garden!

Nancy - I bet you are loving all the hockey that is on right now! DH was in front of the TV for most of the games, except when we were out on our hike yesterday! He really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and all that fresh air! His knee is a bit sore though today. Hope you and Luther get more good weather for your walks over the coming days! I need to get to the gallery to check out your pages!

Rae - I watched your latest video and hope that you made it through the Easter holiday ok! I am packing some of my Keto things to take with me this week. I figure hubby won't make anything with the cauliflower that is in the fridge so its coming with me LOL, along with my heavy cream and stevia! Hope you have a great day today and soon we will have to start making plans for when you would like to meet at the Butchart Gardens, I am looking forward to meeting another one of my imaginary friends LOL!!

Sharon - I hope your knee is feeling better, my DH has a bad knee also, no cartilage in it, so when he walks a lot it is bone rubbing on bone OUCH!!

Good morning, ladies. It's been a busy but fun wkend. Spent lots of time with my hubs, watched a bunch of TV shows together, went for a few long walks, had a wonderful Easter dinner yesterday and enjoyed hanging out with family.

Today I'm getting some chores done, desk work and CT work done. I'm loading a few pics into the computer that I took yesterday on our walk thru colony farms which Jen enjoyed as she's never been before. I took a few photos and they used their camera phones to take a few pics too. Taz just ran around like a crazy dog and had a blast, running from one to the other and then back again LOL. Today he hasn't gotten off the couch yet, he's still sleeping.

I need to get back to work for awhile and grab lunch but hope to pop in later today when I have more time. Here's a pic from yesterday of Bailey, Jen and I.
