Helloooo and Happy Monday!
OMG-- yesterday was the best weather that we had all year so far. We were def. up in the 60's. I spent about an hour outside. I got most of the leaves out of the front garden. It took me forever, but I adjusted. Instead of kneeling, I grabbed a bucket and sat on that. Gary dragged the container of leaves to the back for me when it got full. He said that he was proud of me that I knew to not keep going. Normally on a day like that, I would have been out for hours and gotten a heck of a lot more done. It bugs me that I can't do what I want to do, but it will only take me longer to get better if I push myself now. (If I keep telling myself that, over and over, do you think it will sink in??)
My IL's popped in too for a while. I hadn't seen them since Christmas. They brought up some soft food for Scott- some frozen eggplant parm, chicken pit pies, which was so nice. Leah came over to see him too, and she brought an enormous bowl of mashed potatoes and some matzoh ball soup from her mom.
Today is another nice day so I might do a little bit more out there. I have to get Easter tulips in the ground. I have to go get another round of blood work done first. And my parents are coming up to drop food off for Scott. I guess I won't have to worry about what he will be able to eat for a while
And ack!!!!- :faint:
Cait is going for her driver's permit today. She still has to pass the written test and if she does, she will get 3 hours of driving done. I am so not ready to teach another kid how to drive! My poor blood pressure!! hahahaha!
QOTD-- did you teach your kids how to drive or did you have your hubby do it? I did most of the driving with Scott, although Gary had to teach him how to parallel park. I still have a hard time doing that, and thank goodness, there aren't many places it need to be done.
QOTD2- can you parallel park?
