:bliss: April is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(tries not to grumble and complain about it being cold)

But it doesn't matter because each day brings me closer to summer!
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty much same old, same old. I am keeping everything crossed that I get my stitches out today and full clearance to resume life. I am realistically thinking that even if that happens, I am still going to need to take it a bit easy here and there. Yesterday, I was walking around so much better.

Gary and Scott went to his uncle's condo yesterday to help clean stuff out. And came home with the CRV *filled* with "junk." All treasures to them, but junk to me! hehe! One thing that got me was they found a picture of Scott when he was a toddler by his computer and a picture of Gary in a photobook. Seems like he still thought of his family even as he isolated himself from us. :(
I have to say that I was getting aggravated on occasion when Gary would keep coming in to check on me all day long but with him being gone and Cait upstairs doing homework, I was even more bored. Thank goodness for the dogs, especially W who let me lie practically on top of her for snuggles. That dog takes so much abuse from us. LOL

I hope everyone has a terrific day. Wish me luck at the drs!!

Morning everyone! Happy April 1st to you all! I hope that no one gets fooled to badly today! Yesterday I spent the morning doing some :washing: and changed the sheets on the bed, while DH ran to get his haircut. When he returned we hopped in the car and headed out to Costco, it was a lovely sunny day and you would have thought that more people would have been at home enjoying the weather, but I think everyone was at Costco LOL. It was a zoo in there!! I also got to Michaels Craft Store and picked up a couple of canvases and more paints and got to use my 50% coupon so hooray for that! Came home and watched the Bruins lose once again! Seems they play poorly against teams that they should easily defeat :mmph: Oh well, hopefully they do better next game!

Chris - Of course we will all be rooting for you to do well at the Doctors today! I sure hope that the stitches come out, but do remember not to push yourself too hard! Glad to hear that you are walking around so much better. Ughh on the guys bringing home junk! Seems each time I see my In-Laws they are trying to unload a bunch of stuff on us too, it would be different if it meant something to us, but most of it is just junk that MIL got at a thrift sale or something :gaah: I don't need more crap in my house!! It is good that she is trying to get rid of some of her stuff (she has accumulated a lot of stuff over the years!) But for heaven sake just take it to the dump or re-sell it please!! Ok enough of that :tape:
So nice that you can get in cuddles with your fur baby!!

Jean - I am sorry that you are still getting winter weather!! Let's hope that spring is right around the corner for you! I guess it will give you time to have fun with your new puzzles though!

Nancy - Whow you got in almost 10,000 steps!! That is really horrible that the Devils are not treating the Season ticket holders better!! Can't say I blame your son for not wanting to spend thousands for his tickets! I hope that you do send the email and let them know how disappointed you are! Hope you can get out for a nice walk again today! Hooray for your knee holding up so well! :thumb:

Kay - Yikes you are in winter still too?? That was too bad that your new bible has pages missing from it, hopefully you find the next one has all the pages in it! Sounds like you had a great Potluck at church though! Sorry that you are feeling so cold and that your feet are hurting you so much! Keeping wrapped up in a cozy blanket sounds like the best thing for you! Hopefully today you are feeling much better!

Felis - :hello: I hope you had a lovely weekend!

I am in need of my second cup of coffee and then I have to get to the gallery for a bit. It's cleaning day today as none of my housework got done over the weekend. Only the :washing: so I will be vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc. Oh what fun!! LOL Have a great day everyone!

good morning - whew today is a cold and blustery day and I am not enjoying it one bit! Horrible wind and in the 30s. This is the April Fools joke on us for thinking spring and summer are on the way! It was such a glorious Sat in the 70s. I guess I should be glad that we did not get Jean's snow. And I am! Today is also pay bills day. I love that I can pay them online. Makes my life so easy! But of course there are always those that require stamps.

Chris good luck at the doctor's and hope those stitches come out. So glad that you are walking so much better! That is something about the car coming back full of stuff! I have no place for stuff. Just like Trudy I need to get rid of stuff not accumulate more. But do take it easy.

Trudy I was surprised that the Bruins did not defeat the Red Wings but I guess those Red Wing young players want to be in the NHL and need to show the coach. You sound super busy! Have fun with the new paintings!

Kay I feel you about stamps. I don't think I even I know what a first class stamp costs. Sorry you are having cold weather too!

Have a great day all!

Morning, gals. Popping in to say "hi" before I am off running errands. Woke up to frost all over. Only 32 degrees... brrrr!!! The mountain is covered with snow. Hoping it warms up a bit before I head out.

I did snuggle in bed last night and fell asleep early - around 9 PM. Woke up at 3:30 but went back to sleep until 6:30 AM. Glad as my body is still feeling tired. I forgot how much the pain of DJD affects me. Will take awhile to get back to "normal".

Chris, glad to hear you are getting around easier. Hope all goes well with getting the stitches out. Had to LOL over the guys bringing back more "junk". I am going to try to start weeding out stuff here. Granddaughter's packing up and winnowing down for their move made DD#1 realize that she also needs to start the same process as they will also be moving... but about 6 months to a year later than Granddaughter. DD#3 is working on getting their house ready for sale and is doing the same thing. She hopes to move down closer to us and to her work.

DD#1 came over for coffee so I didn't get this posted. Glad to see her. Now I have to get my errands run. CYL

Good evening girls,
right now I'm in wonderful mood, and can't wait to go sleep, because really need it! This day lasts too long and change many things. I don't know did you are start month in tears, but it's not a nice feeling. Long story short: the weekend was horrible: problems at work, at home and online.
And here is the whole story, just in case that you are wondering. At friday I was rebuked on my work, for delayed production (it's not surprised I was scraping or waffling on to strangers on Instagram most of the time), to work from home is double-edged sword. So this week I'll have to work harder. After the scandal with our boxer started, I'm too much in Instagram. I can't explain it, but when I see someone to argue with stream of invective and lack in a facts, I feel it as my own duty to put her/him on their place. I know, I know it's ridiculous and wasting of time. I really have to Stop trying to copyedit people. I read an article about it. And I really have to learn on this. OMG actually the every single points in this article is like written about me> Stop: asking everyone for advice: setting ambitious goals; filling up on junk work; trying to copyedit people; nurturing your guilt. It's not surprising I'm feel tired all the time, I was made all of the points in this "Things You Should Stop Doing Today For a more productive life" list. But hey I'm not sure I can trust this author. Nevermind! What I was telling?! Oh, yes, I had problems at home too. Because I love my cats, but sometimes they are really nasty kids!
After all dark clouds, I totally forgot to create the Earth Hour page. I feels bad because this was tradition that I broke now, but maybe it was time to quit. I'm made already few pages about that, so. I missed the time when it was appropriate to scrap pages for some events. Some layouts have a respective time to be realized! But I'm very proud of myself, because I made one page for every day of the O party! The gallery's timezone is different than mine, as you know, so sometimes I'm post in two different days here, but gallery shows them as same day. At some days I was busy and compensated on next with two pages in one. But that doesn't matter, the number of pages is equal to the number of days. From the list I posted in March I finished 7 of mine ideas.
And now I have another one from 10 ideas, on which I will probably work for whole year, because I don't plan again to scrap so much in the next months.

Chris, hope the visit to doctor is went well, and no more stitches! Please be careful, and don't rush! How fun that your boys have some new plans to create things! Will be awesome, if they really spend some time together in crafting, not just hoarding elements that they 'will', but actually never use. My dad have bunch of these useful things, but actually we only dust on and around them.

Trudy, the painting is so lovely and Springgy! Oh, yes it has many tricks at my family today and actually that lifted my mood. Your hike page is lovely! During the party I was comment at least 10 pages almost everyday, and now feels bad to not have time for that! Aw, did your MIL wants to see these stuffs in your house?! Friend of mine have this problem, her MIL always gives her things with sentimental meaning and wants to see them exposed, even they don't match at all with the style of her house.

Nancy, oh, so you are cold too, bad! Yes, bills and these annoying tasks that repeat every month consuming too much time, but we just don't have what to do, for now ;).

Kay, take a rest and I hope you'll feels better quick! It's annoying how when we stay occupied our mind rest, but our body hurts and the opposite. With so many moves and changes in your family it must be very stressful time for all!

Jean, I'm always happy to see you chatting! Don't forget to make page about the new puzzle when it's finished! I can't believe you still gets snow till we are on t-shirts now!

Rae, sound as you are had a lovely weekend, good for you!

OK, good night, my dears! Sleep well! It's really too late here.:sheep1sheep2:dizzy:
