How is my O-Fam? Coming out of the Easter Dinner Coma yet? My brother remade so much food and it was alllll delicious!!! I consumed so many calories I won't have to eat for a month. I wish it worked that way, don't you????
Although I have to say my favorite part was the grilled asparagus, oh man, that was so yummy!!! (Makes up for the oreo truffles I ate!)

I got to spend about 5 minutes with my godson before he was off and running and then off for a nap. I miss my little dude so much.

Not much else going on today- off to work and then bringing Scott back down to Leah's this afternoon. Its her BFF's birthday. and he has to be there for the party. Good think I like this kid. And Scott.

Egg hunt here was a big success. The here hysterical, walking around with their baskets trying to find the eggs. Then they were all groaning at the bad jokes I tucked in them. I also printed out some pics of cait's bands guys and she was so excited to see them, she snap-chatted them to her BFF.

How was your weekend/Easter? And it is April Fools, any good plans and pranks?
I know I have told the story of Cait's Tattoo as my April Fools prank about 10 years ago and I finally found the pics of it recently. I think I might have to scrap them today.

Me Me Monday-- I cannot wait to watch the season finale of the Walking Dead tonight!!!!

Still recovering from my weekend, between the travel and the food poisoning-but I did my workout and now am getting ready for work! Here is a layout of the fun we had though!

I should not have been up at 6am this morning...as it's now 8am and no one is out of bed but me...........but..the quiet time is so heavenly!! I am just all stopped up and my throat and ears are hurting...icck...why does such a beautiful season have to be so cruel??????? :Cry:


Mom is getting the kids today and I am going to clean my house from top to bottom.....and get started on the deep stuff....SPRING CLEANING...OUT WITH OLD!! and no new crap coming back in, so maybe I won't have to do it next year ound: I am at the point in my life where just the essentials is quite enough for me in the house....furniture, food and photos :becky:

howdy. i'm BAAAAACK! Easter with The Grandmen was fun. no giant tantrums, so that's a plus. ( neither the Grandmen nor any other men....) packing everything needed to cook the traditional dinner, plus all the chocolate plus all the plastic eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt is a little annoying, but i lived through it. the hardest part is listening to Hubby keep saying: we're NEVER going to fit all that stuff in the car. but I am the WonderWoman of Packing, so it ALWAYS does fit. but that never stops him complaining about it. I really should just say:OK. you're right. guess we can't go then. and walk away.

have i said this before? : MEN!!!

Chris, your egg hunt sounded like fun. the kids will remember it forever. i did take some photos, but still am feeling nothing when it comes to making a page. this is getting scary!!

Nana. spring cleaning?? hats off to you! i figure i'll wait until spring actually HAPPENS! the DC weather was so beautiful this weekend. now i'm back home. high 30s and blowing a gale outside. and GRAY GRAY GRAY!!!

gotta go grocery shopping, then tackle a pile of laundry. thrilling. :mmph:

I worked yesterday (we had this huge thing starting that required on site support) ... so no egg hunt for me, but the kids have fun from what I understand. I was supposed to be at work today too, but it went so well yesterday that I'm only on call ... yeah !

Morning everyone, I woke up this morning and opened the sympatico web page to read the news and they had announced that they were going to bring back the penny that we had earlier this year discontinued producing also said the new penny would have the face of our Prime Minister on it and NOT the Queen's ??? Further reading I realized this was a very bad April Fools joke !! So I got FOOLED right of the bat this morning :becky: Starting work at 8am this morning and not sure when I will get home... Inventory !! :hurt: I don't wanna do it!!!!

Chris - Sounds like a great Easter for you and your kids!! I got sent a video from my DIL showing the Grandkids looking for their eggs, soooo cute!! Looking forward to your page of the tattoo prank !

good morning all....omg I slept last...it was nice...but omg I am still exhausted!!! woke up once at 430 with dh when his alarm went off then he called me around 7am telling me that he is leaving TOMORROW...TDY for a month....love the short notice!! ugh...ohh well...

we had a nice easter...it was so beautiful outside! did our egg hunt and me and dh started on our duck coup! but now our plans are coming to a screeching halt with him leaving....that means we cannot start on fixing the barn for a month...blah...and then we will only have a couple of weeks before we leave for a week to visit his family....so no barn for another month and a half really.....blah!!!!

Good morning! Had a wonderful time at my son's for Easter. Of course I have boys who cannot figure out how to be on time so missed all the finger foods. Really annoying. So fun though. My DIL is so creative - she has been sewing purses, sock monkeys, even a sock Easter bunny.

Today is also really the start of baseball season. Cant believe baseball is back.

Chris sounds like a you all had a great Easter with the hunt and all the food.

Laurie how fun to get to Syracuse in the Tournament! love the photo and all that orange!

Since my daughter is a full on teenager, we don't do much fun stuff for Easter, she is also rehearsing every day as they premiere Evita on Friday....

They are taking money of the elderly & the disabled, instead of making the MPs, politician and civil servants in general give back the money they stole.....
oh well, life goes on!

Afternoon everyone!!! Ohhhhh I'm sporting a serious easter hangover!!! (is that possible???) I was up on Saturday night cooking until 2:30am, and then Sun morning was crazy getting everyone into the car for church with everything we needed foodwise and musicallywise!! And then after an awesome service, we went straight to my in-laws where I finished all of my cooking, Cora made spinach dip as per Saltgrass's recipe (where she waits tables), and our cousin finished up the ham. So the kitchen was crazy!! AND we had an egg hunt (I stayed in the kitchen and finished up the asparagus) and then ate, ate, ate!! When we finally made it home, I went and took a THREE hour nap from 5-8pm!! YIKES!!!! So of course, I stayed up until 2am again!!!
Today, I'm determined not to take a nap, but I must say, I'm a bit tired/cranky!!! Trying to be a good girl with my good monday attitude!! (I am thankful, I am thankful, I am thankful...). I'm secretly hanging out in my craft studio cleaning it up from all of the Easter sewing! Here's a pic of all of us in our new Easter dresses...(the boys didn't want new duds!! I did make Quentin's tie, though, in January!)
