Psst. Yeah, I see you peeking in the thread to see if Faery is still losing her mind. The coast is clear, I'm all good.
I know, I was in such a crummy mood yesterday, everything was bringing me down. I had been semi-avoiding my mom since every time I talked to her she was complaining about my dad. That made me feel guilty because I hadn't talked to him to see how he was doing. I was also keeping Scott's merry go round of Drs appts and tests from them- tossing me right back into the guilt loop about them and the anxiety loop about him.
Evie did fine at the vet and looks like a normal rat again. Well, a rat with a shaved neck and upper back with a 1" incision. But no more Quasimodo hunch. Scot was able to talk to the dr and the u/s is showing what looks to be a benign tumor and he needs to keep an eye on it for a month. If there's not change, he just needs to watch it occasionally. If it does change, the Dr wants to see him again. It might even go away on its own. Dr wasn't concerned so that is good. That made him OK with celebrating his b-day so Leah came up and we had a nice dinner together.
I *have* to get the FP today, They usually have dog food/treats, and if I can get some eggs and bread, that will be a big help too. And produce. Everyone wants to start eating better and produce is so expensive. After that, I am going outside. It is supposed to get hot today, maybe near 87*, yesterday we got to 85* but there's no humidity like we usually get in the summer.
HAGD!
