Psst. Yeah, I see you peeking in the thread to see if Faery is still losing her mind. The coast is clear, I'm all good.

I know, I was in such a crummy mood yesterday, everything was bringing me down. I had been semi-avoiding my mom since every time I talked to her she was complaining about my dad. That made me feel guilty because I hadn't talked to him to see how he was doing. I was also keeping Scott's merry go round of Drs appts and tests from them- tossing me right back into the guilt loop about them and the anxiety loop about him.

Evie did fine at the vet and looks like a normal rat again. Well, a rat with a shaved neck and upper back with a 1" incision. But no more Quasimodo hunch. Scot was able to talk to the dr and the u/s is showing what looks to be a benign tumor and he needs to keep an eye on it for a month. If there's not change, he just needs to watch it occasionally. If it does change, the Dr wants to see him again. It might even go away on its own. Dr wasn't concerned so that is good. That made him OK with celebrating his b-day so Leah came up and we had a nice dinner together.

I *have* to get the FP today, They usually have dog food/treats, and if I can get some eggs and bread, that will be a big help too. And produce. Everyone wants to start eating better and produce is so expensive. After that, I am going outside. It is supposed to get hot today, maybe near 87*, yesterday we got to 85* but there's no humidity like we usually get in the summer.

HAGD!

@nancyr Thank goodness you got all of your photos back. That would have made me want to tear my hair out and cry at the same time. Scrapping while watching hockey is probably up there on your to-do list. :D
How sweet to be the witness for your friend, happy times!!!!

@tanteva Can we trade DHs for food shopping? When Gary would come with me occasionally, he would cost me about $10 more, mostly from buying donuts *eye roll* I could not trust him to do it without me. LOL I saw that bag/pattern- So pretty!!

Kay- you had a busy and very productive day with your niece and with shopping, Such a great score on the curtains. It sounds like it will be a piece of cake for you to make the smaller curtains from the large one.

@bcgal00 Have a fabulous time at the picnic today!! How is your lip/jaw feeling?

Hugs!!

Wouldn't trade my husband for anyone or anything. (Except maybe Till Lindemann :D)

Started on that crochet bag yesterday. In completely different colors, charcoal, lilac-ish and (hot) pink. Had to take what I had home, and that were the colors. Looks like it will be a great bag so far.

Hubby just tried the new lawn mower, and he seems to like it. I need to do some ironing - I hate that, sooo boring.

Other than that no plans. Might watch the final of Eurovision Song Contest tonight, but I'm not sure. I'm not that into it anymore. Maybe we watch a movie instead.

good morning - well I have already walked my 2 miles as we had Luther out early because it is to get over 90 F degrees today. It is cloudy and the humidity is starting to rise. It sure seems like summer is here. I actually finished 3 pages from my trip to Sedona. OMgosh it is good to scrap again. Though I had to look in the help section to figure out how to upload a photo. But it seems to have worked. It was only a short trip but there are so many gorgeous photos that I don't know how many pages I will end with LOL. I had fun being a witness but seems strange that you have to have a witness to get a license and then on the day of the wedding you have different witnesses. Lots of hockey today USA/Finalnd at 9:15am, Lightning/Panthers 12:30, Penguins/Islanders 3pm, Canadiens/Maple Leafs 7pm, Wild/Golden Knights at 8pm. I am in hockey heaven. LOL Should be able to get lots of scrapping done while watching the games.

@faerywings Chris you are not losing your mind. There is just a lot on your plate. This is always a busy time of the year with your family (if I remember correctly). Chris glad that Evie came through so well. Glad that the news with Scott was so good and he was able to actually celebrate his birthday. I hope that Scott realizes the times have changed and he should not compare how far along he is others. Have fun outside.

@tanteva Eva have fun making your bag. Like the colors! thanks for the comments on my pages. FB is a food pantry.

@BrightEyes Kay you were busy but how great to have your niece tell you about the curtains and then to be able to find them. Have fun making your new curtains. We too are coming into summer. Keep cool!

@bcgal00 Rae have fun at the picnic!

have a great day!

Mission accomplished
- have been avoiding the ironing all day, and now it's almost time for Eurovision Song Contest, and I don't have time for the ironing. LOL

Hi again, I just responded in yesterday's Dailys. Nancy @nancyr thank goodness you got your pictures back!!! I'm so happy for you.

Eva, @tanteva nteva I hear you about not trading your husband. I have one of those too and he does the grocery shopping. Gotta love a man who LOVES to grocery shop! When we got married a hundred years ago, I thought it was "my place" to go and he'd go anyway. I finally said, if we're both going to go, why don't you just go because I hate to. it's been that way ever since.

Chris @faerywings I wish I could loan Chuck to you for grocery shopping. I already told him that you wanted him to build you a tiered planter box. He just laughed. He thinks we're all so funny.

Hugs to all and waves.

Started a crazy project today. I'm sorting through all my font files! Haven't that many installed on this puter, and we all know we need fonts to scraps. Now I'm going through each font file on my EHD, checking if they have all letters (many fonts don't have å, ä and ö - and I kinda need them LOL). Sorting them into files with those who have and those who haven't. Plus one file for dings. Installing some that I like. This will take time.

Hey there, O-zies. How is everyone today? We have another sunny and hot day ahead and I love it! It looked like it was going to rain in the afternoon so I didn't water anything but it never did so I have to do that this morning.
FP (Food Pantry) was ok-- they didn't have dog food but I got some eggs and bread and laundry detergent which I forgot that I needed. The produce they had must have been donated by other families who have kids in the school district- lots of apples and oranges which is what my friend sends to me.
I worked in the back yard and it is finally starting to look less overgrown. Today I need to see if I can save my lilies that are getting eaten by the beetles. I will do that early so I can get cleaned up before we head to my ILs for a small BBQ with them and my BIL/SIL.

All of this socializing is doing me in-- I need to start doing "stuff" so I have things to talk about. :D

What are you all doing today? Hope it is a good one!

@tanteva the colors of the bag you are making sound amazing, what kind of yarn are you using?
That is what my kids say to me all of the time
You have no idea how hard it was for me to not say "you can't lose something you don't have"
Congrats on not ironing!
Good luck with the fonts- I have too many to even think about cleaning them up. I have tried using Font managers but I get totally *lost* in different files and folders that I give up.

@nancyr Gary ended up putting the AC on in the LR yesterday, the humidity was getting to him. I bet Luther felt the same :D
Congrats on walking so much. I need to start taking my pups out too but if I can make it 1/4 mile I will be happy. I don't know if I would be able to get to 2 miles like you do.
Yes May and June are very busy for the family and I have to do a decent cleaning of my house tomorrow b/c Tom (Cait's new-ish boyfriend) is coming over one day this week to meet us all and my parents on coming up with bagels on Friday-- first in a *long* time!

@Cherylndesigns We would make a good team, but we might need to make sure we lived near a hospital. *winks* When I had my PICC line in and was hooked to the IV, I would end up snagging the tubing on doorknobs as I rolled the pole around. Because you know me, not like I could sit still while I was infusing, nope I had to try to set the table or cook. (In fairness to myself, when it was the half-hour bags but when it was the several hours of fluids, no one can sit still that long)
"just the berries" That is such a cute saying. like the bee's knees! :D
Love the progress with Daisy and Kitty! Tell Chuck I am still waiting for my planter hahaah!!!

Thanks for reminding me I have to do the ironing today!

I don't have too many fonts, I'm getting through them today. But they really needed sorting. Tons of duplicates.

The yarn I'm using is a thick cotton thread. Bag will be heavy. LOL I think it will look great though. Will try and remember so share pictures once it's done.

In the middle of cooking dinner here, but I had to send Urban to the store cuz I found out we didn't have enough rice. Making tofu in the air fryer again. Spiced it up this time. Will serve with rice and some fried veggies. Fish fingers for the carnivore upstairs.

Morning all... hope it is a good day for everyone. Stayed in yesterday as we were under a High Wind Warning most of the day. Thought I was going to lose some branches on the plum tree as it was whipping around like crazy for hours. A bunch of the dried leaves on the ground were flying all over. It was so bad I didn't get the Patio Lilac tree watered. Need to do that today and give the trees in the front yard another deep watering. Think there is a problem with the front yard drip system as they are slower leafing out than the back yard.

I am a bit sad but happy at the same time.... my niece sent me word that she is moving her RV from here up to Colorado this week. She got a job working in another RV park up there for the summer. I really hate to see her leave but am happy for her good fortune about the job. She will be packing her RV for the trip today and tomorrow so won't get a chance to see her before she leaves early Tuesday morning.

I got the new heat sensitive panel cut in half and add the top pocket to the second half. I put them on the tension rod in the bathroom window so I could figure out where to put the hem. Right now they hang down about 14" longer than the window. Think I will put in a 4" hem then will bunch the extra under/behind the panels so they rest on the deep window enclosure. Heard something about an hour ago and walked in to see that the tension rod and panels had slipped and fallen into the bathtub. LOL.... Will make sure I tighten the rod more once I finished the panels and put them back in place. I really like the look of the voile panels that allow light in but help cut down on the heat coming in.

Eva... I had to LOL over your comments about ironing. Guess I am spoiled as nearly all my clothes don't need to be pressed or ironed just as long as I get them out of the dryer as soon as it quits. I remember spending hours each week ironing clothes for the family (hubby, me, and 5 kids)... and as hubby was in the Navy, his uniforms had to be done 'just so'. That is one chore I don't miss at all. Yes, I am another one who has way too many fonts but won't get rid of them. Need to remove a bunch that are installed that I will never use.

Chris, glad you made it over to FP and remembered other things you needed. Good luck on getting the cleaning done before the 'Boy Friend' comes over and your InLaws visit. Yes, it can feel really strange to have more social visits after so long a time avoiding them. Glad to hear the news about Scott... hope it goes away on its on.

Cheryl, I hear you about tangling with cords, purse strings and other hanging things... so easy to mis-step and take a tumble when you get caught in them. I used to have to be careful when DH trailed his 50' oxygen tubing from the compress (in the bedroom to the family room). Tripped over too many times.

Time to get lunch - then see if I am in the mood to work on the bathroom window panels. CYL

23 minutes past midnight here. I did get the ironing done. At least 3 shirts and a pair of trousers for Urban. Need to fix work clothes for me for Wednesday too, but I wanted to wait and see if I will need a summer dress or a snow mobile suit. You never know these days. LOL

Found another layout in my gallery where I've used a kit don't have in my stash. Can I go crazy now????

I thought it was strange I didn't have this kit - I'm a bit bias for kits with any name including "Urban", since it's my husband's name. Love every chance to get an Urban wordart. :D Where on earth are my missing kits?????

Will try and get some sleep now. It's been a hard night. There is a site where you can light a digital candle for someone who passed away, and they've started a page for my friend. I've been trying to formulate something to write. I don't want to say something lame, like you would to just anyone. I want to tell her how special she was to me ... without sounding cheesy. Never have a couple of sentences been harder to put together. I hope some sleep will help my brain to function.

Eva @tanteva to download that kit again, go to the shop, sign in, click on your name up at the top and then select the tab for purchase history (or whatever it's called). The Urban Goth kit was released 10-15-2015, so search from that date to the date of your LO and it will be in there somewhere. I bet there is an easier way that Vicki or someone can tell you. But you should be able to download it again if you can't find it stored.

Thanks, I'm sure I can get it again. Just wondering where everything is? I did check my old computer! Now I know of 2 kits that I have made layouts with that are in the gallery - but I don't have the kits. Makes you wonder if anything else is lost that I don't remember.

Also found a layout I made in 2016 that I never posted to the gallery. I might post it tomorrow, can always pretend I did it now. LOL

Need to start the old computer again tomorrow and see if I can find the lost stuff. Weird!

Hello all! I just realized I never signed out. Ugh. I hate when I do that. Must uncheck "stay logged in".

Chris @faerywings Steph had a PICC line in for awhile and I used to get tangled in hers. She got so mad at me when she was in the hospital because I pulled hers and felt like the world's worst mom. I was afraid to get near her bed. Kay @BrightEyes so you're joining the "gets hooked on things" too. Hahaha If it's possible (or even if it's not) I'll find a way.

Worked outside again today - we don't have the plants in the ground, but they're sitting where I want them, unless I change my mind tomorrow. I want to sleep on it. Chuck decided he wants a small tree now, so that kind of screwed my plan. Oh well, I just went out and pretended there was a tree in the floor plan. Hopefully, we can go get it this week. Adrienne and I looked at trees Saturday but didn't find any that we could handle. Chris @faerywings Chuck said he'd start on your planter box just as soon as he carried a tree home on his back. ROTFL

Adrienne couldn't help me today anyway because they're getting down to the final stages on THEIR house and it was all hands on deck to cover the wood floors upstairs so the painters wouldn't get paint on them tomorrow. Dang that house is ginormous!!! They've done so much in the last few days! Their planned move in date is June 30th.

It's just after midnight here, too. I'm getting ready to call it a night. Sam is keeping me company - he's nocturnal too - as cats are, so we're good nighttime buddies.

Talk to you all tomorrow. Hugs

This morning I realized why I had so hard to 1. get to bed, 2. fall asleep once I finally got to bed and 3. why I still got up early this morning. I take meds 9am and 9pm every day - and yesterday at 9 pm, I apparently took my am meds instead of my pm meds. My am meds include my ADHD meds (Ritalin) which helps my brain to stay alert during the day. Great help ... but not at 9pm. LOL

Some time in life I will have to check how to really spell apperantly/aparently/apparently ... I do it different everytime and it all look wrong. Or are there any good synonyme I can learn instead? That are easier to spell? :D
