Happy weekend everyone.

How are all of you doing? Hopefully everyone got to stay all snuggled in bed. It looks cold and dreary out there today and I saw snow on the 5-day forecast. nooo!

But I am going to stay by my computer as much as possible. the cheery o's have such fun challenges this month and I want to get going on them.

Good morning! We had a crazy storm going on all night thunder, lightning, the whole 9. So about 5 am there is this amazing HUGE clap of thunder that shook the whole house. Not only did it wake Mario & I both up but the baby as well. It took us almost 2 hours to get her back to sleep! It's still all rainy outside but it has let up quite a bit.

I'm wired, I have no idea why but I am bouncing off the walls.

Off to do a gallery run! Yay for post count! lol

Chris - mmmm coffee, haven't had any yet "...oh mariooooo......" =] I'll just have him make it lol

hee hee Laurie- kitty was off bugging her brother Floyd instead of me yesterday. She is hanging out by me know, watching the squirrels outside, Hopefully that will keep her occupied while I type.

I saw your headless bride photo on FB- it reminded me so much of the haunted mansion at Disney LOL
Have you decided what you want to do with it yet? My mom has my dress. I had thought that I would use the train for Christening gowns but I ended up going very non-traditional for my kids when they were christened. Scott had a little suit with shorts and cait had a battenburg lace/cotton dress. And I am so short no one will ever be able to fit into it even if they wanted too. So my dress still takes up space at my mom's house.
Good luck working on your clutter/papers. Do you have someone that can help you? My MIL tells me all of the time how much easier it is when I help her b/c I don't have the same emotional attachments to the stuff. She'll want to keep something and if I roll my eyes, she knows she has to toss it (I am so mean!)

Such good news for your pg friends. My mom was stitched with me and you can see how good that turned out. hahaha!

Clara- were you able to go out for your day yesterday? Too funny about agreeing to anything when you are asleep. I am the same way.
I am so sorry to hear about your mom's puppy. Hugs to you and your family.
Chik-fil-a sounds yummy, wish we had one up here, although maybe it is good that we don't.
Good thoughts for your g-ma too.
Yes, thankfully Scott does know that the feeling bad is good in the long run. he has really come around to that- remember when he used to fight me tooth and nail? And the medication he takes is really yucky- I start my cycle on it on Monday and already i am dreading it.

Nana whew! thats a lot of kids. Yes-- make them stay on a routine. When I taught pre-k it was the one thing that kept us all sane. if we had a lot of teachers out sick, I would usually be the one one my own (try 25 3 and 4 yo's by yourself ack!) and some days i would say, "Play Day" instead of sticking to the routine. Nope.... never worked out for me LOL

kristy- how did I not go crazy? Oh that is easy- I did go crazy! Its hard- I am somewhat isolated- I live about 45 minutes from everything and everyone and with 2 little ones, it made it hard to get out and about. And i got angry at DH for not being around at times. Now that he is disables and home 24/7, I wish he would just go out of the house for an hour some days :pound:
Good for going to scrap therapy! That always helps :)

Trudy- hope that you had an easy day at work. Good and fingers crossed this will (really) be your last visit.

Kayleigh- oh no- poor you and poor baby-bamm! Hope that she sleep better tonight.

Trudy- thanks for the good thoughts for Scott. It still *amazes* me how far he has come in a year. This time last year, he had been pulled out of school, and was on home instruction, depressed, so unhappy and sick. He would get up at 9 for his tutor, and when she left at noon, he'd have to go back to bed and sleep for a few hoiurs before he could start on his home work. he looked horrible, was crabby, in pain, and very angry.
Last night, his girlfriend was over and they were on the sofa watching TV, they look so content and relaxed with each other. We were all laughing together at dinner..... just such an incredible difference.
Now, I just wish that gary could have the same improvements :(

meg- hugs ya back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

kayleigh- hahah! I think all new moms and dads go through that. I remember one of our first nights out, just the 2 of us. We swore that we would not talk about the baby- but guess what we did? :D

Miss Sally!!! Don't make me come down and yell at you! No more caffeine.... Can you drink caf. free coke? I don't drink any soda so I don't know if its any different like diet vs regular is. but take care of yourself, we need you here!!

To everyone, love and hugs!

Chris -- hehehe I'm still in bed! After Jeff eats breakfast I'm going back to sleep with him. I stayed up late bc I knew he wanted to hold me this morning to fall asleep. He had an awful time sleeping yesterday and tore the entire bed apart and threw the bedding on the floor. I could of killed him at 10pm when I discovered I had to do all that laundry before I got to go to bed!

Nana -- I've been praying for you!!! I hope the situation resolves it self soon, for good! <3

kristy -- like Chris said -- Hooray for scrap therapy!!!

Ok ladies... I'm PMSing something awful today so I think I need to spend as much of today in bed. The weekends are awful for me because my in laws seem to think that the weekend was made purely to annoy the crap out of me. Lol Clara unfortunately gets to hear it every weekend when I'm trying not to snap at anyone.

After getting too much rest we're probably going to try and walk around the block (2 miles) to ease my cramps. Gas is so high right now I'm probably going to walk to and from the grocery store now, ugh... and see the $4/gal sign every time.

Then it's time for some scrap therapy for myself!

Great weekend everyone- it has rained and the basement is not flooding. Mr. Gorgeous is going to work with the Service Master people to make sure we are not being overcharged- it is more than the insurance guy said we would want to pay. I'm not opposed to a fair price, but I do not believe the current estimate is accurate. We went and looked at flooring options today, as well as wall options. I just don't have a clue.

This am- dance lessons-had a different instructor who kicked our butts. Now unwind and get ready to go to Mardi Gras party tonight. It will be strange because my physician is now taking lessons and she and her husband are going. No laundry until tomorrow as we are waiting for them to come get all their fans which are sucking lots of energy out of my house. I so want to have scrap time tomorrow. Well I will find some, somehow.

Have great weekends everyone.

Laurie - I hope things get worked out with the Service Master people!!! When my friends' condo flooded, they got lucky... their insurance company immediately sent out the clean up people who also happened to be able to do everything else from start to finish... so they got a great deal! And a practically brand new condo :)

Well I've got a massive migraine and didn't have my hubby to massage out my trigger points! I'm going to try and go to bed, but the pain is too much, I probably wont sleep. I'm probably going to have to wait the 8 hours until he can come home and work them out!
Tomorrow's our "Saturday"... I'm excited! finally getting the taxes done. Ive been really irked about that whole thing but ehh whatever... hopefully the refund wont take too long... it looks like if we finally file, we'll get the deposit on the 18th. Then Jeff can get his iPhone 4, he needs it for work and can't wait until the new one in july. He's also going to get a new gun for who knows what, and pay off two of our credit cards. The rest idk, might save it for the down payment on a home... but it looks like we actually don't need to save more for that, because we're finding awesome steals on foreclosures in the foothills. 5-10 acres, 2000 sq ft, $500/mo 30 yr loan! Yeah, no one wants to live there because they can't get a job if they don't already have one. And the houses are looking great, they were all custom built when the development went in a decade or so ago. Eh we'll see... for all we know we're going to get moved down south if he gets the fed job. We already have all of the furniture and appliances we need aside from a washing machine, which isn't a bank breaker.
I still want an ipad2, but I can't justify it enough yet!! If I started interning to get an appraiser's license... then I could... hmmm...

nana- Can Mike take the kids out for an hour or so so you can get a bit of peace and quiet? Hope that this is nothing major for Traci, i can't imagine how hard the ups and downs are for all of you.
hang in there, I am sending all of the vodka reserves your way.

hey there kristy!

Meg- oh no--- feel better.
So excited for you with your possibilities of a house! That would be so awesome.

laurie- Oh no!!! :( Bad desktop!
How was your mardi Gras party?
Flooring- I don't know about the water seepage, but I used to clean a house that had pergo- and it was great. They had dogs/kids/cleats, never a scratch. All O had to do was damp mop it and it looks perfect. If my floors here weren't so bumpy and warped, and I had the money- i would get pergo in a heartbeat.

I am going to bum around a bit, and then we are going to my brother's for dinner. My mom is teaching my 100% Irish SIL how to make gravy (red sauce LOL) My brother warned her not to use any Irish spice- garlic powder instead of fresh garlic.
I am looking forward to seeing them all. I hope gary is able to come with us.

xoxo

Kristy- oh no- pet pee

Computer guru says that the data on hard drive should be salvageable- now to figure out if computer can be fixed or if I should just replace.

I got on the treadmill- 2.5 miles, 250 calories- oh so happy- I can't believe it, but I missed it.

just going to do a little whine here and then move on. My husband does not see the importance of replacing my desktop, since I can surf the web on my work comptuer, but not my CT sites, and we can do the finances on his- grrrrrr. Okay back to being happy!

Evening everyone, I have been MIA for the last day or two, just busy with life! Went for a nice long walk with MG, (yes we are talking again) LOL. Beautiful day today! Just popping in quick to say hey

Laurie - why don't our men understand how important our computers are to us?? I am also looking for a new one and will have to put it on my credit card, because he won't help me pay for it. That's ok though, I don't help him pay for his toys either.

Sorry everyone, but have to get supper and will catch up on personals tomorrow. Love ya all!!
