How weird is this? yesterday was Caitlyn's last full day of HS. I dreamed last night that it was my last day of HS. That itself isn't weird. But the silly part of my dream was that I drove to school in a pink school bus, but when the bell rang, I didn't know where to park it so I just left it there and went to class. No one is going to notice an empty pink school bus in the middle of the road, right? hahah!!!!
When Caitlyn got home, she was telling me about some of the Senior Pranks that were being pulled and that made me realize that OMG- she is a Senior and this is *it!!* Sheesh!!! BFFATS posted a couple of pics of our girls on FB from their preschool grad, and first day of kdg. Time really flies, doesn't it?
Yesterday I got the LR and DR steam cleaned and ugh the water was disgusting when I had to dump it. I warned the kids and dogs and cats that whoever "peed, pooped, vomited or tracked in mud or grass" onto them was going to be murdered.
Then, Cait and I spent almost an hour handling her rats. They need lots of interaction when they are young to become really well socialized with humans. These girls are already-- after one day- so happy to be together and with us. Clover was so happy being up at the back of my neck and on my head. She was playing with my ponytail. Lily was snuggling in my arms and as I stroked her head, she literally flattened out and fell asleep. When they were awake, they were chuckling away. Rats "chuckle" or kind of click their teeth together when they are happy- like how a cat purrs.
Today I have a few things to do around the house (bills and laundry and dishes, soooo exciting) and then my parents are meeting me here and then we will be off to the track for Relay. Arlene and Leah are coming up too, and Scott is going to meet us there after work.
What good plans do you have today? Hope it is all fun stuff!
