Happy Sunday to you all! I was so tired all day yesterday and in a crummy mood. I am feeling better today. Not 100%- but not -100% either. Is a negative percentage even a thing? I don't think it is but math and numbers are not my strong suit and it is way too early for my brain to puzzle it out.

I didn't much of anything. Caitlyn and I opened a small puzzle that we hadn't done before. It was 300 pieces and we finished that off while she had her coffee. I am trying to build up a small rock barrier along the front of my lawn. It isn't just the road grit from the winter, but the asphalt itself breaking down. Then it runs off into my lawn, killing everything. I am planting more groundcover that is pretty indestructible and adding more rocks to hold it all in place since it is on a slope.

We watched another episode of Chernobyl. Caitlyn checked the website "Does the Dog Die.com" and this episode was the one where they had to go and kill all of the animals. We fast-forwarded through those parts.

No idea what we are doing today. My neighbor is having an art exhibit today and we might try to go and see that. Other than that, it is just me getting ready for the busy week.

HAGD!!

good morning - yesterday was trying to catch up on sleep as those over night flights are the pits. The trip to Alaska was even better than I had hoped. We saw moose, caribou, a wolf, fox, two golden eagles, grizzle bears and their cubs, ptarmigan in Denali and then down in Seward and Whittier on the boat tours we saw orcas, humpback whales (a mom and her baby) and lots of sea otters. Of course new birds, horned and tufted puffins, pigeon guillemot and marbled murrelets. Also kittiwakes and their chicks along with common murres. And we girls had such fun. Laughed a lot. Twice on the trip we thought one of us was lost. LOL. The train rides were fun and a great way to see the inner Alaska. I don't know if you all watch the TV show Ice Road Truckers but my DH loves it. Well in Fairbanks we saw the office from which the truckers are given their routes. My DH was jealous. We went to the home kennel of the first woman to run and win the Iditarod sled dog race. And we got to play with the puppies. They showed us the dogs and how they train them. We found awesome restaurants to eat and the sea food was so fresh and yummy. Even with all the animal and sea life and birds it is truly a magnificent place to visit. The scenery is breath taking. It is good to be home. Cant believe how different the temps are. We had a few days near 80 but mostly a jacket was needed. The others on the tour were nice and we all laughed a lot. Now back to reality.

Chris glad that you are still doing PT for the ankle. Now knowing the exercises you will be on a stronger ankle. Sounds like you have been busy enjoying the outdoors and getting your hands dirty even if hot.

Jean wow Cleveland Indians are really doing well. Hope you are surviving the weather. I know you are still enjoying the new art.

Felis I read the a past post where you said I will be traveling at 100. Made me so smile. I would like to think I will be that able bodied at 100. Sounds like you are enjoying your staycation. Alone time can be pretty awesome especially when you have you pets around. My flickr name is nancyr5213 but it will be a while before I upload these but I will try to do it soon.

Saw on Facebook Trudy seems to be having a great time.

Waving to all. Have a great day.

OK, I decided, I'll move to live in Alaska. I want to wear jacket at the summer!!!
Both days here was extremely hot  . For compensation evenings was lovely, windy and so nice. We even had a friends on guest today. My parents brought lots of laundry from their trips. So when I wake up yesterday I decided to clothesline. And what to see at the washing machine, my mom is wash the magnets she was bring as a gifts for her friends  LOL . She was so tired, traveling with bus is a worse idea. And if catch deal you can get air tickets on similar price, but she refused because is worry for the language. Actually I hate magnets! Don't see reason to fill up the folks' refrigerators with places they are never see. This is very stupid tradition in our crew, mostly to makes others jealous, masked as you are keep them in your mind even away  ROLL. Magnets should be for personal use! So actually the washing machine made favor to our friends! Just hope one missed little magnet piece to not make her sick, as it's almost new machine!

Nancy, absolutely don't worry, dear, it's your time, don't rush, not force to upload photos! It must be funny process not stressful! I'm just lose the bookmark with your flickr, so was wondering, thank you for share it (again :) )! Soo many wild animals, it must be precious to see! Oh, yes my dad also is fan of Ice Road Truckers. Love to listen for your adventures, but probably Luther was sad, waiting for you?! I love also alaskan Huskies! On my daily walk trail have 2, but they suffer from the temperatures here, so don't go on walk at same time as us, but sometimes at winter we meet, and they are such a sweetie. Oh, you'll be traveling at 100, I promise you, I'm kind of fortuneteller enthusiast  !

Chris, I hate see you grumpy, especially without visible reason! Hope your mood is improved till now! Hope you go to see this art exhibit! Will be nice to be out of home. Your barrier project sounds very good! Do you asked Scott for the Escallonia or other shrub that you can use for that?

Jean, your Silver City's page is so cool! I'm a very big fan of these stone shapes. I always want to see them at winter, but the one I go is not opened at bad weather, because trail is difficult to I always want to see them at winter, but the one I go to is not opened at bad weather, because trail is difficult to climbing up. OK, this was totally side note, I'm not sure why. However my first thought was that the place is wonderful, and I'm not surprised you love it!

Sunny and warm again today but I've been fairly comfortable inside. Not getting a lot done, but that'll have to do. We'll go out to dinner in A/C so that'll be nice.

Chris, sorry you've had some down days. Doing that puzzle while Cait had her coffee sounds really fast! Building up the area along the road can't be fun but if it helps stabilize the area it will be good. And keep out unwanted stuff. Anyway you work it, hope you were outside some today.

Nancy, Alaska was so nice for you from all the things you've mentioned seeing. I love hearing about it in part because it brings back memories of our trip there so long ago. We've always felt it was the greatest idea to take that long trip (we were gone about 3 weeks with the last few days spent on our own with BiL going around the Olympic Peninsula in Washington). Resting up is always needed after in my opinion. Luther must be a much happier dog with you home. Looking forward to hearing/seeing more.

Felis, thanks for the kind comments on my LO! I am pleased with how it came out and also thinking about the area and trips there. A book of New Mexico pages now seems like a real possibility if I keep doing some for the challenges. Oh, how sad your mom brought home trinkets and then ran them through the wash. They seem silly to you, but I bet she was disappointed to lose them. Of course, you're probably right!

Hope the last of July is kind to us all.
