Me right now:
Me this afternoon:
Me at the end of the day:
I adore Liz Lemon, she is my inspiration LOL
My favorite line of hers is when she talks about transitioning from day pajamas to night pajamas
Everything is on track. I only had one disaster yesterday. The vegan breadsticks came out like hockey pucks. The recipe says that the dough could be frozen for up to three months. I had made two batches in May (ya know-- when the party was *supposed to be ) I followed the directions to a T. I defrosted them the day before in the fridge, let them come to room temp, rolled them into sticks, and let them rise again. Hockey. Pucks. Tasted fine but one Ziplock bag of them weighed a ton Bwuhahah!! 3 pm and I was still sitting on the fence whether I was going to put them out anyway, leave them home (Give them to my friend as a weapon??), or bake one fresh batch.
And I know you alllll know what I did.
This batch feels light and fluffy as they are supposed to be.
Party Call Hotline Update From My Mom: Not once. I know she is fine, I was texting with my brother. I know she was cooking the ham so maybe she was just too busy to check in with me. LOL
I am going to shower and get dressed in work clothes, then head to my parents' after the firehouse is all set up and wash up/get dressed and make-up. It is 98% humidity-- I think that is the best way for me to do that. Gonna be gross and sticky.
I am going to do some quick personal and sign off.
Thanks for listening to me for the last several months as I planned and stressed over this-- and just think, we all get to do it again with an engagement party!
