happy weekend everyone! Do a lot of you in the US have 3 days for Martin Luther King Jr? We have no school but the teachers have an In service Day.

No big plans here for us, except lots of football for Gary.

I have that "interview" today and I am kind of nervous..... But it should be all good,. Its for scrubbing toilets, not rocket scientist, right?

Linda S- Oh we had a good time, me and my mom :) I didn't get to help her with too much on the pictures, because she had never defragged her computer, never emptied her Recycle Bin since I went down last year to help- so a good 2 hours was spent just on that. next time I go down there will be for photos.

nana- uh oohh! I had a climber-- Caitlyn..... Oh she made me so crazy! She was 10 months old and I had her gated out of the kitchen one night so I could open the oven safely. I am taking a chicken out of the oven and look over at her in the LR. She is up on the kitchen table playing with scissors. She would climb onto tables, up ladders, swing from the bunk beds- all before she started walking. Oh-- once she climbed up into the top drawer of Scott's dresser! It amazes me that she never had stitches *knock wood*

Good morning ladies! I kept waking up last night having to re-adjust. I felt like my bones were hurting, strangest feeling ever. The baby kicked my spine yesterday and I felt like I was going to die. Only 2 days & 6 hours until check in time!

Hey I'm looking for a few places with an open gallery for posting. O is my home and it's the only place I ever go but I need to join a few more to fulfill CT obligations. Any suggestions?

Chris - Sorry to let you down but I don't think I'll be gone until Tuesday lol.

Well good morning!!!! Still lots to do today. Jeff's still crashed from a long night at work in which he got rocks thrown at him. They also had a musician/celeb last night to babysit.

I'm off to get ready for the day and to make Jeff go pick up my Rx's.

afternoon all - been crazy with work, mr gorgeous schedule and getting over being sick- meds have been working and that is a good thing. After dance this am went to kohls and shopped the clearance rack for hubby for shirts for work- I picked up a pair of dress pants and new blouse for dancing and dressing up- it is purple. My treadmill walking has been working - less gaps in buttoned shirts and pants don't feel so tight! I think I will go to church tonight as I am taking my husband out to dinner tomorrow night to a restaurant that we have never been to. I need to go back and read up and see what everyone has been up to while I was too busy to read!
 
Ohhhh Chris...everytime I've picked this post season, I've lost!! Although the Steelers won (YAY!! hate the Ravens!!)...I'm anti-Jets, yet PRO-Mark Sanchez...and I hate the Pats more than the Jets, so I'll scream with you!!! As far as the NFC? ugh...what horrible teams!! I was for the Eagles, but they went down in flames...so I'm going to have to root for Seattle (uh, yeah, right!) cause my sis lives outside Seattle. And if the Packers get into the superbowl, I'll probably wear all my Packers gear,since Quentin was a Greatwood Packer! LOL!!! Of course, my shirt says Keller on the back!! teeheee!!

Quentin seems like he's completely healed. He went with friends last night to see Tron and loved it! I kept asking him, did you look at your pee??? did you see anything???? LOL!! we think he passed the stone while in the hospital...*sigh* I'm just glad I got to sleep in my own bed last night!! and that he is not in any pain!!!!!

I'm playing with fabric tonight...feels sooooo good!! I'm coming up with silly fun mini quilt ideas and doing some challenges online to kinda get my name out there! Soooo fun!

Here's an example...I'm doing Project Quilting (kinda like Project Runway, only with Quilting!)...you get a week to do the project challenge, then there is a week where the judges decide and the PUBLIC (That's you!! ahahahaha) can vote and there are lots of prizes!! I'll be sure and post a link whenyou can vote...but we've just uploaded thepics in the flickr acct. Here's mine:

so that's what I'm doing...I really need to update my store with products and stuff, but right now, I'm really enjoying creating!

Ohhh and I got my first 12x12 digital book and I LOVE IT!!!! i love the size...it sooo makes me happy. I'm going to upload all of my 2010 LOs to Blurb.com and get another one! I am addicted now!! LOL!!!

Kayleigh -- make yourself relax and get some rest. I have a friend who just had her baby on New Year's, and she was freaking out just like you are for the last month of the pregnancy. Because of all of that, she ended up being even more exhausted when the baby finally came... so she couldn't really enjoy all those first few days with her. So, just relax!!! It'll be a long time before you'll get another chance to relax :) Over 18 years from now LOL

Sally -- AWWW I LOVE THAT QUILT!!!! It's my favorite quilt you've done so far!!! I kind of want to get into mini-quilting, but we don't have the space for me to set my sewing machine up for much more than a tiny fix-it project. Hopefully Jeff will get a new job and we'll have a new place soon :)


Soooooo.... Late Tuesday/Early Wednesday you all might get let into my excitement :) Thursday for sure!

I spent most of today trying to deal with a problem person... hopefully now I wont have to deal with that much more. It was so time consuming and stressful that I pretty much lost my entire day... which resulted in me opening up a new bottle of wine without Jeff. He STILL is at work... he got into ANOTHER fight... threw the guy to the ground... arrested him... yay. I'm surprised this didn't happen the other night with Willie Nelson.

But, hooray, I've finally found a pomegranate wine I like!!! It's from my favorite winery, I just never tried their pomegranate because I've been so disappointed by others in the past. Well when I was getting the Raspberry sparkling wine we both like the other day, I picked up a bottle of the pomegranate wine. I think the next time I go to the coast, and Jeff spends all day fishing, I'm going to see if I can get one of his cousins over there to go on a tour of their cellars where they do all the fruit wines.
 
morning all - it is a gorgeous sunny day- cold- but I am inside- until later when I take my husband on a date- then tomorrow back to normal work stuff- have to find a way to make that more exciting! Off to check out your flickr Sally!

The cleaning interview went good! The house is big, but its already clean, I am just going to have to maintenance type stuff. Friday mornings- should take about 3 1/2 hours give or take. The woman worked with my BFF for years, and she even gave me a hug and kiss on my way out. yay!

Laurie- same here with the weather, sunny but *cold* - says 27* so maybe we can actually break the freezing point today.
Have fun on your date!! I am so happy that you are able to do that!!

Meg- great advice for our new mama-- However, my mom tells me that you never stop worrying about your kids and I am 42! LOL
Sorry to hear that you had to deal with some negativity, and Jeff too. Cripes man. As for the Willie Nelson night- the people there were probably way to "mellow" to cause to much of a commotion ;)

Kayleigh-- its getting closer!!! yes, try try try to put your feet up and relax! Can you take Benadryl? That used to be on the OK to take when PG list, and I know I took that when I couldnt' sleep before my kids were born.
 
heehee Sally! You are so funny. One of my friends is a huge eagles fan and he was so bummed. I am conflicted on the Eagles with the Michael Vick situation. Yes, did his time, but I have a hard time with anyone convicted of a major crime being re-elevated to celebrity status. As always, I tend to see both sides and all I do is confuse myself hahhahah!
Whew!! So good to hear thatQ is feeling good! I love your quilt. Did you ever friend my MIL on FB? You really should- Barbara Campbell. I know you two would get along great and have so much inspiration to share.

Laurie-- good for you and that treadmill- don't forget to keep posting oin the Moving Thread- I need that to keep me accountable too.

Good morning ladies! So right after I posted last night my wonderful husband gave me a foot rub with the Baby's Bedtime lotion =] Put me to sleep really quick! And he was so scared of waking me up he sat at the end of the bed playing games on his phone for 2 hours lol. I was so out of it by the time he did finally lay down that I didn't even notice. Good man :becky:

Wellllll, we have 1 day & 5 hours to go until I check in to the hospital! So excited!! =]

Hey ladies!! I'm watching the Seahawks get their butts kicked. Not happy about that, but not sure I expected much else...they did come in a losing team. I'm a baseball girl not football, but when the Seahawks are doing anything decent...which is nearly never...you know I'm going to be cheering. So...GO HAWKS!!! I keep posting on Sally's FB and she keeps ignoring me. LOL!!

Well, I have to run. I want to get back here soon though. Love you guys.
 
Clara I was rooting for the Seahawks too because they were the underdogs but they didn't show up apparently. Besides I am anti-bears lol. I'm a football & baseball girl. I'm more excited about the Jets vs. Pats game. I HATE the Pats so I'm cheering Jets! In stealing my Dad's line here "my 2 favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and whoever is playing the Patriots" lol.
