GoooooooooOOOOOOOOd morning!  :cheer2:

(do you get the idea that I am in "fake it til ya make it mode?" )
I did not sleep well last night and that has me pretty cranky. I am feeling very much stuck inside since my muscle strain is still very painful- and that is also making me feel cranky. Gary thinks I should go to the Dr but what in the world can they do? Because I can't do much of anything I am bored out of my mind! ~~~also making me cranky

I do have one very cool thing to share before I sign off to leave you in peace. Gary and I were watching TV last night when he looks at his phone and says "this is gonna blow up." At first, I thought he meant news about the USA. (it would make sense, right? LOL) He had shared his Grave Grohl video on a Halloween DIY board which was seen by a DJ who shared it on her radio station's website. How cool is that!?

Today I am gonna drink coffee, lots of coffee. My parents are popping by to see Cait for her birthday. That girl is celebrating her birthday for the 4th time. Or is the 5th? Earlier this month we had the family together, last Sunday she had a fire outside with her crew, Monday was her official b-day, Tuesday with us, and today with my parents. It is too bad that none of them were actually her going "out" or having a party. Oh well, next year.

Gratitudes:
-having my family together, watching the kids bust on my parents is always amusing
-the weather is going tobe in the 70s again
-:tea:

Trudy- Oh no, poor Hunter! That is so sad that he cried. Scott did that and I had to pick him up a couple of times. He cried every morning the first week of Kdg too and the *first* day he didn't cry getting on the bus was 9-11. I was so nervous that it was going to start him back up again. I hope that he does better for Heather next week. It breaks a mama's heart, doesn't it?
The painting sounds like it will be a perfect gift for your DIL.
Why am I not surprised that FIL won't get someone (other than your Gary) to help? :noidea:
Are you feeling any less grumpy today? Do you have any suggestions for me to get out of this mood?

Cheryl- that is so sweet to have the duck in your pond! A couple of years ago we had a pair that would hang out on our lawn all of the time. Had to be more than a couple since I know it was before W, maybe even before Jaida. They would have reacted the same as Daisy did. Ray would not have cared a bit.
Daisy must be so happy to have all of that room to run.

One you get the walls and floors in, it is going to be so amazing to start imagining where furniture is going to go. I am excited for you too!
My MIL has shared the Gore Vidal quote with me a bunch of times LOL All four g-parents say how the grandkids keep them young. And I have to laugh because 1. I could never ever get away with saying the stuff to my parents that my kids say to them. 2. All 4 of my g-parents were "old-school" Italians. I was very close with to my mom's mom (used to cut HS to visit her), it most definitely was not a friendship like my kids'.
Keep talking about them! I know how my mom is, all of her Drs know about her "kids" and it makes her so happy.

Hey Nancy- can you check in? I haven't seen you in days and that always worries me

It's another lovely day and this time we're going to try some birding where DH used to do the bird surveys. Not expecting much, but getting out will be wonderful. Just hope not many people.

Chris, Gary's video will go big! What fun for him. Too bad you are still in pain though. Not much you can do I guess but wait it out. Are you sure that's all it is? And why shouldn't Cait have many celebrations of her birthday. Sounds like a plan to me. About the day of the week, I often find myself out of sync and even with the months/seasons. I am loving the photos of Rita and have various ideas running around my head.

Have a good weekend everyone (whatever that is!)

Morning everyone! I have to be real quick in here this morning! I am still in PJ's and my brother will be here in about 1/2 hr and I need to hop in the shower and then get dressed LOL. It will be nice to have a quick visit with him. I have already had a face time chat with Heather and Hunter and they are doing well, they got to the park yesterday and had some fun playing there on the swings etc. Today Hunter is a bit grumpy and ready for a quick nap I think. I got my first Calendar page completed this morning also, so now I need to get that uploaded to the gallery. I just wanted to say Hello and hope that you are all doing well! Gotta go :sorry: no personals this morning!

Good afternoon all!! Oh my gosh, Chris, I just watched a bunch of Gary's videos and pictures. It made my day! He and I even chatted on FB. I got such a kick out of all of them! He must be SO proud of all the work he's done, but I also know it's fun for him too! Thanks so much for hooking me up on FB! I'm a huge fan now!

I had so much fun with the kids last night! So, just for you, Chris, I'll keep going on and on about them. LOL It was so much fun to hang out with my "adult" gk's. Ava asked me if I ever thought about these times when they were all kids and coming over every weekend. Only Ava would wonder that. LOL I said that honestly, I didn't. She, Cameron and I were all in the car riding to the game, laughing and cutting up.

I was close to both my grandmas, but not like I am with them. Of course, times were different then. Granny (paternal gm) didn't drive and I got closer to Grandma (maternal) when I became an adult. They all came over after the game, too. We were all hanging out in bedroom - 2 of them laying on the bed, one in the chair and me at my desk. Chuck walked in and said "some things never change". LOL

Have fun with your parents today and I hope Cait loves the entire day - yes, next year the party.

The kids are going to take us up to the house on their ATV's so we can see the progress. Couldn't get through the construction yesterday. We're going to Ava's house for dinner tonight. She can't wait to cook for all of us.

Trudy, have fun with your brother and I hope Hunter gets over his grumpies. Poor kids, they're doing the best they can with what they're having to deal with, right?

Jean, have a nice weekend! Everybody else, have a good weekend, too.
