Is everyone ready for a weekend? I hope that the weather stays decent for the next couple of days even though I know it's not. I really only need it to stay dry today. I am finally refinishing my dining room table and today is sanding. That has to be done outside. I simply can't deal with all of the dust being inside the house. The staining and poly will have to be done inside. If I tried to do it outdoors, I'd have a billion yellow jackets stuck to the table. Although, that *is* one way to kill a bunch of them at once. Hmmm.....

I think I accomplished most of what I wanted to do yesterday. Housework, scrapped, laundry, and the dentist. And no cavities!
We had some really gorgeous thunderstorms pass through before I went to bed. The lightning was like a strobe light.

Oh, I hear Gary taking the table apart to bring it outside for me. I want to get on it before the heat warning kicks in.

Hugs~

@vickyday The neat thing about this dishwasher is that it has a third-level/tray for flat items which will be perfect for things like the sink drains. Great idea! Thanks.
I bet Carolyn can't wait to be back home, do they have any time frame for her?
Wait. What?? No PT for her? That's awful for her and the family. :(
I hope the Ozempic works for Mark. My brother started a new Diabetes med and he lost 15 lbs so far. I am hoping that the meds help them both!
Enjoy the time with your family this weekend

@BrightEyes I am enjoying the cooler temps this morning as well, considering it was 90+ the past two days and forecast for today.
That's too bad that the meds didn't help the tremors but not worth it since it was making you feel dizzy and unsteady.
My mom and I were having that same convo over remotes in PA! :floorlaugh:

@taxed4ever That massage therapy must have felt wonderful if your muscles were still sore after the hike. It sounds heavenly!
Do you have lots of new photos to scrap from the summer? That always makes it easier for me.
One good thing about everything being online is that Scott was able to put holds on his credit and debit cards as soon as he saw the wallet was missing. He had to pick up the debit card in person but even his license is being mailed to him. He got temporary health insurance and car insurance cards from their websites. It's just frustrating that he doesn't know what he did with it.

@Cherylndesigns I am hoping for a miracle for Marley too but it sounds like the prognosis isn't very optimistic :( :brokenheart:
Don't worry about personals or anything other than taking care of you and your family.

The dishwasher I inherited when I married Mark, LOL, has little shelves along the sides, upper and lower levels, that I can fold up when not in use. I lay big ladles and stuff like that on them. They are only about 5 inches wide.
Carolyn is supposed to be going home next Wednesday, I believe. I agree about the PT! Sure is an expensive "hotel" stay! Something just doesn't seem right about the whole thing!
I hope the Ozempic works for Mark, too!

You "could" poly it outside and capture the yellow jackets and then add a glass top to "dry" and preserve them like flowers....voila! Instantly unique designer table! Who knows.....you may start a new trend! ;)

Doing another quick in and out this morning. Have another trip over to TMobil this morning. The transfer of info from my old cell phone finished last evening so will go back and let the gal finish shutting down my old service so the old cell phone number is transferred to my new cell phone. Will pick up a few things from Walmart since it is right next door to TM!

@faerywings Sorry that Scott is having to go through all that hassle to replace things from his lost wallet. That is a big project to strip and refinish the dining room table and the sanding is best done outside.

:floorlaugh: I nearly spit out my coffee when I read this, Vicky!!

Will try to come back later with more personals.

Morning everyone! It is a beautiful blue sky morning! The temps are a bit on the cooler side though. I am hoping that it will be like this tomorrow morning, as DH said he would go out in the Kayaks with me in the morning. My massage therapy session went very well! Such a nice young woman, who gave me the best massage I have ever had!! It was a good deep tissue massage and she said that she thinks it is probably my rotator cuff that is giving me all the grief with my wrist. She gave me some exercises to do while I am on the computer and some stretches to do every morning and throughout the day. We will see if it gets better or not. I never did get my layout posted yesterday morning, so I really need to do that today! Other than that I have nothing on my plate so I hope to start scrapping another challenge page.

@faerywings - Glad that Scott was able to get most of his cards etc. replaced online! Still it would be nice to know just where he would have lost his wallet! You watch as soon as he gets all his things back, that darn wallet will show up :tongueout1:. Good for you for getting your table refinished! I like Vicky's idea to laminate the dead wasps on your table LOL. I really need to do mine again one of these days, it has a lot of scratches from so many great dinners served on it this summer. Yes I do h'ave a lot of new photos from this summers visit, enough to keep me scrapping for quite awhile. It will be a good project for me to do, to get all the photos off my phone and onto my iMac so I can use them. Oh and my dishwasher has that third drawer also, I just love it!

@LSlycord - Is that why your post looks so different this morning? because you wrote it earlier and then pasted it here this morning?? I hope that your appointment goes well with the cardiologist! Sounds like Syd will have her work cut out for her this year! I know she will do well though, she seems like one smart cookie!

@BrightEyes - Sounds like you are going to be busy with your new phone today! Hope the transfer of all your info on your new phone got done! Nice that they can do all that and you don't have too!

@vickyday - I hope that you have a lovely day today! I love your idea for Chris to preserve the dead wasps on her table LOL.

Ok off I go to upload my page to the gallery and other places, I tried to start it yesterday, but then Heather faced timed me and I never got back to my computer after that. Hopefully I can finish before she calls today! Have a wonderful :friday:

Good afternoon, loves,

Thank you all for your love and concern. We've all been on such an emotional roller coaster around here since this all started with Marley. We're like a bunch of zombies. Marley is very thin and frail, but so happy to be home. We're just taking it day by day and praying for a miracle. We're keeping Lila all weekend so Marley can get undivided attention and Miss Lila won't get jealous. Right now, Ava's girl is here, too, so I have three dogs laying around my desk and a cat on the bed. Adrienne still cries at the drop of a hat because Marley was really her dog - they bonded as soon as she got her. Love you girls and my brain is a little scrambled. I'm scrapping as much as I can because that's always my escape. :grouphugyay::hug4:
