I am still so tired. I woke up at 4 again but at least this morning I was able to drift back to sleep(ish) a bit.
I am still not in a great mood. Caitlyn's first lecture didn't go so well. There were crazy technical difficulties to the point that she texted me what a mess it was. Hopefully, it is just working the bugs out and things will get better the next time.
I didn't anything exciting unless you count 2 loads of laundry, sink full of dishes, cleaning up after J when the threw up "exciting." *wink*
I am meeting Arlene this morning to go for another walk where we went a couple of weeks ago. I hope that helps my mood because as of right now, all I am doing is making myself crankier. For anyone outside of the US, I don't know how to express the insanity of what is happening here. COVID, the elections, the protests. It is utterly mind-boggling and stomach-churning. A friend called me yesterday to ask how I was navigating this. HA!!! Um.... I am not. I told her that thankfully, my family can yell at/to each other and that helps blow off steam. Other than that, I had not even a smidge of advice.
:tape:
I need to stop talking/typing. Let me do some gratitudes and be on my way out of your hair
Gratitudes:
-the weather is gorgeous! A wonderful day for a walk.
-I made yummy dinners the last few nights
-it is Friday (it counts, right?)
xoxoxo!
