It is Friday and I get to take a nice loooong shower saran wrap free!!!
Wheeeee! I did get my PICC pulled yesterday. She agreed totally that it wasn't good that it was getting sluggish so much and my lymph nodes in that arm were enlarged. My arm feels weird. It's a bit sore at the insertion site, but to not feel the tubing and dressings, it's just odd. So that was the good news. The not as good news is that she wants me back on the Bicillan shots which are intramuscular and hurt like the devil. But that will only be once a week providing I can get prior authorization for that.If not, I have to pay out of pocket and I'll probably only do that every other week.

I have to say how happy that I am about my kids. Cait is just really enjoying the school year so far. She loves her creative writing class/teacher. And she has to have a "Flour Baby" in her Child Development class and can't wait to go to the thrift store to get it some clothes. She wants to name her Charley. Or Corn Flower and make it a Hippie Flower Child. That girl cracks me up!
She told me this morning that she is really proud of herself that she is talking to people, and feels like she is where she belongs. You all probably remember my posts about how she hated school, didn't want me to make her go and begged to be homeschooled. This is just soooooo incredible and makes my heart so happy!

Today I just have to finish cleaning up the kitchen and LR, easy peasy. Tomorrow, I can start cooking the stuff that needs to be done for the party. And I even have time to go to a friend's house for a little girls get together.

Dare I say it? Life is good!!!!!!!!!!

Finish it Friday:
I am doing a LO for an OCt challenge that I am totally loving!

Hugs to all of you!!!!!

nancy- I was going to ask you when hockey started back up!LOL Good to hear that it is coming soon. Hopefully not having a car will give you time to get your vaca pics sorted out before you start taking Devils pics :D

Phyllis- I know you won't "see" this, but please take good care of yourself. An eye adventure does not sound good at all. *fingers crossed it gets better quickly!!!*

Jean- good luck with your genealogy meeting. I love your line about not losing the Female Super Powers!

Can I ask you a question, you may or may not have any info. Our lyme dr recommended that Gary and I get gene testing done through 23andme. Many lyme patients have a specific gene mutation. I know that many people use it to trace heritage. Gary is concerned about the safety of his genetic info being stored or used by the company. Do you (or anyone here) have any experience or thoughts on that?

Trudy- that is great news about Heather coping better. Not good about still not getting any help :(
Hope that you had a fun and creative day!

good morning! I am cold! My house is cold. After being out west and enjoying heat I am not ready for the fall or winter. Got in a good walk yesterday. Will walk today but it will require a jacket. Got a lot of cleaning done too so that made me happy. Will tackle more today. Got all my photos loaded and now is the hard part to select which and how to scrap them.

Chris so glad you got your line removed. I can't imagine how much saran wrap you must have used. So glad your daughter is so enjoying school this year.

Phylis I sure hope you get your eye problems solved.

Jean have fun at your genealogy meeting. I am sure you will remember everything.

Trudy hope you had fun painting and scrapping. Sunday is the first preseason game I am ready!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... I got quite a bit done on my painting project yesterday, but sadly no scrapping done at all. I am really having a hard time with it lately. Chris send me some of your mojo ok?? Have to go meet hubby at the Ford Dealership, he is having his truck looked at because something is going on with his brakes, they grind like crazy. It doesn't sound like it will be an inexpensive fix either :mmph: Always something right??

Chris - Life is good for you right now!! I am so happy for you!! Hooray for the PICC line being gone and for Cait loving her school year so far!! Too funny about the hippie baby thing! Hope she takes better care of her baby than a lot of mothers do LOL. I am trying very hard to come up with some layouts for the Oct challenges, but struggling. Maybe today??

Nancy - The weather has changed a bit here too, but sounds like we will be getting back to the warm temps again by the weekend. Hopefully that means we can get out for a nice long hike sometime this weekend! Enjoy your walk even if you do have to bundle up for it, its nice to get that fresh air and exercise! I am having the same problem with all of my pics from this summer, not sure which ones to use and how to scrap them. Hope you have better luck than me!!

Ok I gotta get dressed and go meet hubby and then take him back to work. Then off to the pool to do my lap swimming. Its getting easier and I am doing a few more laps each time I go! Hooray!!! Hope you all have a great Friday!!

23andme was created for health related gene testing and then got into the genealogy side of it. They are backing away from that part now because of some problems. I think they are pretty secure, but you should read up on their offerings to be sure.

Chris, so glad you have such a positive day!!

Nancy, it's warmer here today (a tad) but I still think it's cold.

Trudy, sorry to hear you need some scrapping mojo, hope it arrives soon. :bounce:
