I guess on the positive side, I didn't think that today was still August. You can't wake up and not remember that it is Sept. 11. How the world changed that day and how much more it has changed since then. :(

I am feeling better today than I did the last two days, the anger has subsided (for now). The anger doesn't get me anywhere.
I was finally able to get my mammo scheduled (Why does my autocorrect keep changing "mammo" to "ammo?" It should know me better than that by now ha!) and I am making a page for the Momma O challenge that will be adapted to my ILs gift. Two birds, one handful of seed. Just needs a bit of work to finish that up today and then I only will have to resize it to a 8x10 or 5x7 and print it out.

Scott and I are heading down to my parents this morning. He is going to mow their lawn because geez, I dunno, an 81 yo man shouldn't still be doing that if he doesn't have to? I figured that I would take the ride with him, I miss hanging out with him. My mom and I can have a quick visit on their deck.

Looks like J needs to go out- TTYS!!! xoxo

kay- that weather is crazy! Stay cozy for now and enjoy the warmth tomorrow

Jean- that genealogy live stream must have been interesting even though it cut out at the end.
It sure seems strange that Cait is doing her classes like that too.
Funny story that I know you will chuckle at. Caitlyn was in the middle of her class and Scott wanted to show her something so he crawled on the floor towards her thinking that he was out of the camera's view. But he wasn't so her entire class saw him. :pound:

Oh, Chris, thanks for the story of Scott's antics! Made me laugh. My conference is only one-way so I don't have to worry, but tomorrow morning I'm supposed to be at a meeting at 10 where I will be seen and also will try to catch a bit of one that starts earlier and cut out, then back to the conference at 11:15. I'll miss one talk that's not a topic for me (as far as I know) and then one that will be replayed at 6:30. Color me totally crazy by then (and of course after that is making something for dinner). Sunday I will want to hibernate. And it was so cold this morning. Well if it were summer anyway. All I know is that I seem to be happier when it's like this. Oh, and during the day got a query from DH's sister about who was a DNA match, so during breaks I was working on that. And so far I can tell what part of the family but not how.

Driving with Scott and visiting with your mom sounds like heaven for you. But my 80-y-o DH is just fine with cutting the grass which he did today. He did comment how much he likes the new mower in part because it is much lighter. But then we have a very small yard. And his cardiologist thinks he should get exercise.

Hope you all are having a good weekend or at least OK.
