Daily Ooos: Friday, October 8

Good morning, my lOvelies! I hope you are all having a terrific day so far.

My back and hip are still a bit achy but as long as I am careful, cleaning shouldn't be an issue. Worst case scenario, I stop what I am doing and finish up another day. My friend is so easy going with that which is why I was so confused when I didn't hear from her. I literally could not believe that she would get upset with me and/or fire me.

I was able to get around the house but I did have Gary carry the laundry basket upstairs and I didn't do any heavy work. But dang, I was bored. I started another scrap page in a style that is very much unlike what I have been doing. There is not one speck of paint or stains on it anywhere. I have to finish it up today so you can see it.

@taxed4ever I hear ya on spending more time and energy on figuring out *what* you should be doing than the actual doing. Story of my life! Good luck but I know you will get it all done perfectly.
That is awesome about Heather's painting project, what colors is she using? Scott and Leah are saying the same thing, they have no idea how they are going to be able to afford a house at any point in the semi-near future.
Good thoughts to your sister too, hopefully, she can find a way to retire or at least scale back
Hope Farm sounds like a place I would like to support too. Glad you got some eggs there, but they are yummy and fresh!

@Cherylndesigns No no no. No slapping me! (In other words, I can dish it out but cannot take it! ha!!) I promise I am going to take my time today. You are innovative with your towel wrapping, aren't you? Whatever works.

Kay yay for new decorations! I love the sparkle, they sound so pretty and will look awesome in the sunlight. You have to take pictures of everything you are making.

@nancyr sorry that you were feeling yucky for a bit. The sun came out here in the late afternoon and it was so much nicer outside than in my house. Any idea what caused the power outage?

Oh, no! Now she's starting mothering me as well! LOL

I'm tired today cuz it was a very hectic day at the library yesterday. Much more people than what's usual on a Thursday. Plus I had a long day (9.45 - 6). Also - I get this tired when I know I have much to do. It's psychological. And smart as I am (???), I've decided to make tacos for dinner today. Not that I don't like tacos, but it's one of the most tedious things to cook. Chop, chop, chop. For ever and ever. And ever.

Tomorrow I have to prepare food for John to eat while we're gone. I know, I spoil him. But I'm afraid if I don't have prepared dinners for him, he won't eat proper food at all while we're gone. (In his teens he had a period where he stopped eating and lost 13 kilo/28 lbs in 6 months - scary as H*LL) Also, the packing will be done tomorrow.

Then comes Sunday. Crossing all my fingers that nothing will happen and that we will get away on this trip. Right now I'm so tired, I'm thinking I won't leave the hotel room all the time we're there LOL

It's a beautiful day here but hot again. We're getting that Indian Summer - one more blast of heat, but it's supposed to cool down next weekend. The leaves are JUST beginning to get a little brown. I'm waiting for the orange.

Chris @faerywings I'm so glad I don't have to come smack you. I don't have time and I hate to fly. By the time I got there, you wouldn't need it anyway. BWAHAHA I hear ya about carrying the laundry basket. I pushed mine all the way from my bathroom to the laundry room with my foot. Haha You have to do what you have to do. Glad you're feeling better. My shoulder is a little achy today - I put my sling on - it helps me to type. I didn't wear it too much yesterday - paying for it today.

Eva @tanteva I know you're getting anxious to go on your trip.

Good afternoon! Hope you are doing better this afternoon, @faerywings ! Back problems just mess up everything!

Hubby and I are at the beach this weekend to see our newest grandson born at the beginning of September. Today happens to be my birthday (double 6's) and hubby even took me to a couple of thrifts! However the prices were not thrift store prices! We are getting ready to go out for a late lunch and then to watch the older brother of the newest grandson practice football. Then I think it is dinner at their house. Can't wait to hold him! It has been a long time since I've held a wee one!

@tanteva , so you work at a library? I would LOVE to do that! Especially in a smaller one that would give me plenty of opportunity to read in between customers!

Yes, I did go back shopping yesterday and came home with bags of goodies for my fall decorations.
Back over to Hobby Lobby to pick up a large swag of fall leaves for the wreath. Had to stop at 3 different $Stores to get the rest of the stuff. Found some amazing Jack-O' Lantern pumpkins with strobe lights inside. Not sure I will turn the lights on as they are really BRIGHT!!! Also got some smaller fall leaves swags to go with them. Put one group on the buffet and the other group on the dividing wall between kitchen and family room. Then I spent a couple of hours putting the wreath together and making the bow. I had forgotten what a pain it is to use a wire wreath frame... But, am happy with it now. Made a LO with photos and uploaded it to the gallery.

Just couldn't resist making a Challenge LO using an old photo of mine from when my BFF and I flew from Cairo to the US but spent a layover night near London. We found an old cemetery and acted like 2 crazy gals haunting some of graves. She had a black hooded cape that we took turns wearing while taking photos.

Cheryl, sorry your shoulder was aching from not wearing the sling. Glad you are keeping the brace on. LOL... I also use my foot to push the laundry baskets to the utility room when the back is acting up. That reminds me... I have to get the laundry sorted and started today.

VickyD... so glad you are getting to seeing the new grandson... know you have been aching to see and hold him. Enjoy your vacation. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Hello ladies!
It's raining the whole day and continued at the night time. Absolutely the whole day, it was drizzling for a while, but except that- stable rain at the whole time. I had to take dogs out at that rain, and honestly I'm so grateful for having dogs or in days like this I would probably stay at the bed watching YouTube whole day. Actually I like rain and gloomy weather, but to watch it from inside, and we all know how important is to have at least 30 min walk every day to boost your mood and give you higher vibrational levels. Middleton who (walk only at the yard) somehow collected so much water so it was like a little shark circling around me. It was funny and muddy at the same time. And takes me more time to get him clean and dry than the walk itself. Are your dog staying under the umbrella, because Tiny do, but Middleton never?
So yes, dog walks, videos/TV and work was my day this Friday. I know it sounds boring, but was pretty nice day!


Chris, I'm happy to hear that you're doing better! Hope the things for your friends are better now, I was so sure that it isn't about you! I think now I can say: ''I told you!" Such a pleasure!

Nancy, I'm pretty sure that I was clear that meant mine cats not your . ''We watch a sunlight dust dance, and we try to be that lively, but nobody knows what music those particles hear.'', as the poet said it . And according to studies I was read cats can see this even in dim light.
I hope that the good weather will continued for your area!

Trudy, oh poor Hunter, I'm happy to hear that he wasn't much scared by the hospital and procedures! It's awesome that Heather have help at the painting! Hope that your sister will be able soon to get retired and that she will like it! I think I was mentioned here that now dad is get back on part time job as he not doing very well with so much free time. Mad man!!!

Cheryl, haha, I even can not mentioned days mistakes, because we are in different time zone and it's totally possible to be different day than this that thread is opened for.

Eva, have fun and take many photos on your vacation! I hope that the autumn colors will be on there!

Kay, this decoration is so pretty, definitely put in a cheerful mood!
