So who else did *not* want to get out of bed this morning? I was so snuggly!! Kitty on my back, puppy at my feet and all warn under the blanket. But I am not working today, am off to meet my BFF for coffee and going over to a friend's house tonight for wine and gossip! Awesome day, wouldn't you say?

Nan-- awesome sleeping for you 9-5? relatively uninterrupted, I hope? Bet you feel like a new(ish) woman LOL Ugh about cleaning out the cabinets. I did that on the one the other day too- I must have had at least 12-13 bags of chips/pretzels under there that only had an inch of crumbs left in them. I don't eat them, s o I had no idea and they were all thrown to the back.

Hotel Transylvania?I have't heard of that one. I saw the commercials for Frankenweinie the other day and joked that we should do that with Harley. Cait was not amused. Harley was cremated-- it was a joke, girl!!! sheesh!!! But I like Tim Burton so we'l have to get that on Netflix next year.

Laurie - did you get lot lots done yesterday? It was so humid here but really rainy, but today is supposed to be nice. I wish I had some bulbs to plant, would be a perfect day to do it.

phyllis- our attic is the best feature of my house. For real. When we put the addition on in 2003, Gary did the design, and we made sure that the height and pitch of the roof would give us a nice attic.It is the entire length and width of our house and you can stand and walk in it, he ran electric up there and we used the carpet scraps over plywood for the floor. Its amazing. Much nice then the attic we had before that was tiny and just beams and insulation (I feel through it one, lost my balance, and feel between the beams and my legs were sticking through the ceiling in the kitchen. (I am a total dork!). My kids *still* remember and laugh at that one.

Sounds like you had a busy day planned, I hope you didn;t over do it and are hurting today.

Nana- if I could come down and decorate, I would, in a heart beat!

Jen!!! What the heck in is your water!!! 10 babies? Pineapple sized beets?? (its like that Gilligans Island episode with the radioactive veggies!!)

Trudy-- wooot!! Yaya for your DS!!! And your macbook! Enjoy them both!!!!!

Kim- ugh! How old is Isaac? Try Hyland's Teething Tablets if you can find them, I used them with both of my kids and they really seemed to help a lot. Hope that you both feel better soon!

Good morning ladies! We have made it to Friday...and oh, how I needed it! Fairly slow weekend I think. Sydney has soccer at 9 tomorrow...when it should be about 35 degrees. Brrrrr.... And on Sunday afternoon and evening we are going to cook hot dogs and roast marshmallows over an open fire and then carve pumpkins. That is the October birthday (my birthday) celebration!

My best friend from high school is coming. We live 20 minutes from each other but never see each other! Why is that?

Your day sounds delightful Chris. Hope to spend some time around here this weekend!

iPads are great. No connection to the retreat center wifi-so I turned on my iPad--have the 3G. This is the first time I had time to get on the Internet. Being a worker at this retreat-early mornings, late nights, time is filled up in between.

Good morning, everybody! Did you see my news? Well, I think all of you already knew it. I'm pretty excited! I need a new siggy. I've been putting off making one till now! I can't BEE LEEEVE I'm selling here. Still seems way too big league for me. Yipes!

In other news, some of you already know this, because you're my FB friends. But I went in for my doctor's office visit this week to discuss my options re: my lady bidness health, and found out that as of now, they do not have evidence of invasive cancer (YAY) but they took an endometrial biopsy to make sure that the issues I'm having there are not cancer. The doctor doesn't think they are, she just thinks my uterus is confused, and I don't blame it. LOL. I have outpatient surgery scheduled for the 29th. They are going to do a cold knife cone procedure on the cervix, which the doctor thinks will remove all troubling cells and cure me! And they are going to do a uterine ablation, which basically means they are going to scar off the uterus so it won't be so difficult.

Meanwhile last week we found out that my daughter Genny has some abnormalities to her urinary tract, which was a bit troubling. She also has abnormalities to her brain, in case you didn't know. So finding out that more than one system was affected upset me. But we went to the urologist yesterday, and he said that the urinary issue is quite common and is nothing to be worried about.

So the fog has lifted, and I feel happy and good- REALLY good- for the first time in weeks.

Husband and kids all have a four day weekend, I think because a lot of soldiers just got home from Afghanistan and the post is allowing them to spend time with their families. Which means that I get to sleep in, but also means lots of noise and commotion all day.

Finish it Friday- I need to write a blog post about my new store, and I have LOTS of homework to do. Grrr. Why does dumb homework need to get in the way of a good time?

Chris, I actually was fine getting up out of bed because I slept really well last night. My husband slept with Wally, who is ALMOST a perfect baby except that he has some problems sleeping at night. So I'm good to to! Coffee and gossip sounds really nice! It's going to be a busy one around here, methinks.

Linda S- Have a great time with your friend. Your fun camprfire plans sound awesome. When's your birthday?

Laurie- get some rest!

TerryB- I don't have 3G on my iPad. How nice that you can get some internet access!

Chris, too bad you couldn't just roll over this morning! sounds snuggy and nice! i LOVE this day you're going to have: a CHRIS DAY!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!! have a ball and ignore what everyone ELSE needs, for at least a day.

Laurie. every time you mention it i think to myself: When's the last time i said i was going dancing tonight?? well, enjoy your dancing and every one of those 48 hours!

well. i actually got 7 hours of sleep last night. it was good. i was still up at 5:15, but that's when Hubby gets up, anyway, so it wasn't like it was the middle of the night for a change. the furnace guy just left. he was here at 8 to clean and check the furnace and the water heater for the onslaught of---EEEEEEP!!!!!----WINTER!! :fear: happily nothing was broken or worn out. today i really AM going to do the grout repair in the kitchen. my intentions are GOOD. hopefully i will actually DO it. and i have some paint touch-up to do in the dining room. in the meantime, my Roomba and Mint are running in various places around the house, doing their thing so that i don't have to. then. hmmm. dunno. maybe i'll take myself out for a bunless burger, then to the State Store to buy some vino for the weekend. (a State Store, for those of you who don't live where i do, is a government-run liquor store. the law in my state. i have ambivalent feelings about this arrangement.) 74 degrees here today. then it all goes to hell in and hand basket. 55 degrees and raining tomorrow. 48 and raining on Sunday. Look out, Chris!!! crappy weather heading your way!! :rain:

Morning ladies...late getting in here today, but oh my what a lovely way to start the day!! Look at all of our new Designers!! Can't wait to start playing with all the new goodies in the store, break out the wallets ladies!! LOL Had a great sleep last night too! Must be the cooler weather? Today I have to get all my summer reunion pics and vacation pics sent out to be printed, I took over 200 pics during our vacation and now I have to go through all of them and decide just how many Grand Canyon pictures do I really need??

Chris - Your day sounds divine!! Say hi to your BFF from all of us and have fun tonight at your wine and gossip nite!

LindaS- Your campfire sounds fun! We had our last one the other night and roasted hot dogs for our supper, I love to sit around the open fire!! The reason you don't get to see your friend is because you are the busiest woman in the world!!!!! Have a great time visiting with her!!!

Laurie - I vote that you play hookie today!! Much more fun being here than at work! :becky:

Andrea - So happy that you are here at your "O" home where you truly belong!! How great that your hubby is home with you too!! How wonderful that your lady troubles are going to be fixed up and that it is not the big "C"!!!!!! Praying that your daughter does well with her troubles too!! My daughter had a Brain Injury and it affected her urinary system too, but over time it got better, hope the same falls true for your DD!!

Phylis - 7 hrs of SLEEP for you??? How great is that!! Nothing like a good sleep!! Hope your day is filled with all things you love to do! Sounds like your little machines are taking care of some of your work for you! Please send some of that rain this way, we are in desperate need of some or the salmon population will be in big trouble as the rivers are drying up. Worst drought here in over 40 years!! I am loving the days of sunshine, but we really could use some significant moisture!! I will be regretting saying that in a month or so when the rain never stops!!! LOL.

I am taking the boys to the movie and Sharon is taking the girls to the Creamery...they are have open house day on the farm...they will have hay rides and they get to feed the animals and stuff....I will miss that...I WANT TO TAKE PHOTOS!!! God knows Sharon won't!!! :sad:

WOW I have so much to finish off today, but I am just a bundle of energy so I been running around steady but now my stomache hurts so I have to stop waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa so may as well scrap a page instead LOL I took Hemp seed this morning and it lowered my blood sugar CRAZY low for once so I am happy happy happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and WOW the energy WO W WOW WOW girls... it's so healthy for so many things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
