GooooOd morning!!!

How are all of you today, ready to enjoy Friday and a weekend?

I spent almost all day moving slowly or lying down. I hate days like that. I wonder if I was having a bit of a herx as well, my BP was all over the place, I was a bit nauseous (usually a sure sign of a herx), and my feet and hand were hurting as well. I am feeling a bit better today and I am going to try getting to work this afternoon. I will move very carefully and thankfully my friend is cool with whatever I can get done.

I also started working on my plans for Faery-Wings Christmas items. Caitlyn and I talked it over and instead of going to a craft show, we are going to do a small Open House type thing here. Last year, I worked my butt off, had to pay for a table, and barely sold enough to cover that cost. This way I can set up here, whoever shows up, family and friends, it will be all right back to me. I can take orders, Scott can sell his hot sauce if he likes. Gary can make some more of those wine bottle holders... our own little craft fair. :D

I have the recipe Ideas I want to try, but I need to rework them as I always want to make them my own. Then I have to take inventory and place the order for the ingredients and packaging. I hope to have that done by Sunday.

I also started crocheting these:
SideCollarWhite3_small2.jpg

They are dog collars and I would love the have them done for Halloween to go with Gary's Skeleton rock band.

Not much else in the way of excitement over here. I hope that all of you have super days!

Trudy- you seem to do very well with the rain holding off on your hikes until you are done. The hiking spot sounds gorgeous and definitely magical.
That logging road sounds like a lot of the roads in NJ haha!!!!! Our state gas tax is going up $.23 a gallon and it is *supposed* to go towards the repair of our crumbling bridges and pot-hole filled roads.
My mom got lost on our way home Wednesday and we ended up driving all over NJ Nancy will relate, I am sure. We were on the Garden State Parkway which was fine and got off at Rt 287. Somehow, she ended up on the Turnpike and that road was a mess and the tolls were a mess. We got back off and back onto the Parkway but farther north was as bad as the Tpke. Bumpy and the lanes all messed up Then we were on Rt 24- more of a mess. At one point we were near Cranford, that is by you Nancy? I waved!
Anyway, I am rambling on worse than our travels. :D
I bet your pictures are amazing and am sure that I will see them in the Gallery soon. How is the aA team going?
I am thinking that maybe I should go back to the chiropractor before I lose this insurance plan. it is covered and the one I had seen was very Lyme-Friendly. If I can get my act together soon I should call.

I also need to call to get a hair appt. since my mom gave me the $ to cover it. And I need to call the breast surgeon since I got the letter from the hospital about my MRI results. Although, I already read them. One "good' thing about having the information online is that I saw the report and everything is normal. BIRADS-2 which means there are occlusions but are considered benign. I have a history of calcification so it is most likely that. The recommendation is to have yearly MRIs. (yuck, but it could be worse!)

Your chili and bath sound like a perfect way to end your day and I hope that a glass of wine was also involved :)

Rae- I have to go back and read what happened with your DD, she is getting divorced? I am really sorry to hear that but if she will be happier without him, it is a good thing. Wonderful that she has your support! As much as it must hurt you to see her unhappy in the past, it must be great having her back home too.
Your birthday plans sound perfect. We watched TWD recap and I am glad that we did, there was so much that I had forgotten and it helped to have it all pieced together.

Nancy, Cindy, Jean- waving hi to all of you and to everyone else who pops in!

Morning O-zies!! So dark out at 7:30 in the morning!! I really could have stayed in bed longer, but my back was telling me otherwise! So here I am coffee in hand :cof1: and it is tasting pretty good! Yesterday I got a bit of cleaning done and spent most of the day in front of the computer doing some CT stuff and now I have to get it posted. I also have to put in an order for Norwex and other than that I am not doing much! I am sure that DH will have me working in the yard this weekend, cleaning up the yard and I really need to wash my car after going out to the meeting point for our hike. Even though I did not go on the gravel road, my car looks like I went through a mud bath! I need to call my friend who is the Travel Agent and see if she can find anything for us for a week in Mexico. We won't be doing the Alaska trip as it is end of that season, and it would have cost far too much. So Mexico or somewhere else warm is our next choice. I would prefer to go to Italy or Ireland or someplace like that, but man my DH is so not into doing that kind of a trip. I think that I will have to save my money and take my DD with me on a trip to Italy!! Wouldn't that be fun!!

Chris - Sounds like you are definitely in need of some road repairs around where you live! I think that idea of having a mini craft fair at your house is an excellent plan!! I hope you get all of your items made soon and can have it before the weather turns really bad! I hope you makes lots of $$'s too! It will be nice to not have to cover the cost of a table! Love those dog collars! So cute!! Yes we have been very lucky with our hiking group always having great weather on Wednesdays!! We often comment on it amongst ourselves and can't believe how lucky we have been! I hope you make it to the chiropractor, it always seems to help me out! I also hope that you get your hair done soon too, it will make you feel like a new woman!!

Rae - Wasn't it nice to see the sun yesterday afternoon!! It came as complete surprise to me as I thought it was supposed to rain all day long. But DH said I should check my weather app more often as he knew the sun was going to make an appearance :noidea: Your birthday plans sound perfect I hope you have a wonderful day with the people you love the most!! As for my oven... well the last time I turned on the self clean it blew the thermostat fuse and it being a wall oven it is very hard to get at and needed the part ordered for it. That costs us over $200 with the cost of labour added into it. Then after Thanksgiving my oven was a real mess and so I self cleaned it again and the same dam thing happened again!! I was not a happy lady!! So they came back with another new fuse and repaired it again yesterday, this time no cost to us. (good thing or I would have flipped out on the poor guy) :rollpin: But he figures we need a new control board which would cost $400-$450 no flippin way!!! This oven is at least 13/14 yrs old I will get a new one before putting anymore $$ into this old thing. He recommends I do not use the self clean anymore. That does not make me happy, so I told DH if he isn't going to get me a new oven then he can clean this one, I am not doing that anymore!! Oh dear now I am ranting and raving :sorry: I will shut the heck up now :tape: Hope you get in a nice walk again today!

Hi Nancy, Jean and Cindy and anyone else who is here today!! I hope you all have a great Friday and wonderful weekend!! Do something that makes you happy today!!

Good morning, ladies. It was a pleasant surprise to have sunshine mid day yesterday so it was a wonderful time at the dog park. My DD Jen came and Taz was super excited to have her with us again. He runs and plays and then races back to her to say hi constantly, with white foam flying out of his little mouth b/c he's so excited (a labrador trait, my retriever used to do that with excitement). We came home, I went back to work and Jen went back out into the garage to finish staining the little computer table. She's very proud of the job she did. She had never used a sander before or stained anything. I think it looks great. We'll get it hooked up this wkend. I've got one more outdoor session tomorrow (weather permitting) and then I'm done (except for the editing).

Tonight we'll watch a few more episodes of American Gothic. We've watched the first 3 episodes these last few nights and Jen & I are hooked. Unfortunately, it didn't get picked up for a second season which I don't understand b/c we think it is really good. Yet other shows which I think are silly fluff shows that aren't worth watching get renewed (like Kevin Can Wait). I don't get it LOL.

Chris - glad to hear you were careful yesterday and didn't push yourself too hard. The chiropractor visit sounds like a good idea especially if you're covered for another visit. The open house sounds like a great idea. Any profit is in your pocket with no table rental fee, so that's good. Can you advertise in your local newspaper or on Craigs List?

Trudy - I agree, with older appliances, there has to come a time when it's just not advantageous to keep fixing. We are just about at that point with our washer/dryer and dishwasher. Looking forward to seeing more of your hiking photos. I see you're getting lots of use of Anna products for your pages. I bet you're having fun with her team.

I hear Jen getting up now so I'll go say hi and after she gets her coffee it'll be time to get another pot on. It's kind of weird having someone else in the house like this, have to make more coffee, larger meals, the shower water runs at different times, etc. No problem for us at all of course but still...just kind of weird and different than our usual home life schedule. Taz loves her but still isn't happy with sharing the couch with her during the morning when he likes to stretch out on it full length and nap LOL. He grumbles and wanders around, not knowing what to do.

Have a wonderful day, everyone. Time for more coffee...off I go.

good late morning - Luther and I got caught out in the rain but at least it is warm out. Yesterday was busy -got Luther to the vet and he got a clean bill of health finally. Got in some really good walks. We were out and we passed a truck which I thought looked empty but Luther just would not leave and kept smelling. Sure enough there was a dog inside. The mom and the two kids came from after school care. They were shocked that Luther would not leave so was I. Luther was awesome with the kids. Now we are having to deal with the cold and rain. Yuck! My Devils lost to Boston 2-1. That is how I think the season is going to go. The team just has to come together and then I hope the scoring will come. I have players who can score.

Chris sorry you are in such pain after such a nice day at the beach. The weather was awesome and yes Cranford is my city. You should have stopped for a bit of tea. The roads are the pits and the gas tax will get used for something else LOL. Feel better and take it slow!

Trudy your hike sounds awesome. Glad the rain held off. Hope the repair man finally came by.

Rae your birthday plans sound perfect. Calm and family - take out and TV together. Love it. How fun that Jen came and cute that Taz was so worn out.

Have a great day all!

Afternoon, all. Rainy here and DH did storm doors and windows today, so we're resigned to no more warm I guess. Yesterday was nice working with two ladies on genealogy things and some research of my own. Now we're so looking forward to the World Series starting on Tuesday!

Chris, hope you aren't doing too much working today. The open house/craft fair idea sounds excellent. Should be fun for all of you too. That dog collar is so clever.

Trudy, bummer about the oven cleaning but maybe it'll work well for a while still. Bet the CT work is nice as a counter balance to the aggravation. Mexico or somewhere warm sounds good even if you'd rather something else.

Rae, sounds like nice days just now. Bet it helps DD to complete the table project, accomplishing something new. Can't imagine how strange it must be though having another person in the house.

Nancy, glad Luther is doing well. Hope the Devils shape up in coming games.

Have a good weekend!
