I am slowly waking up--- that's good, right? better slowly than not at all. Who would like some :tea: and some pumpkin muffins? All of this talk of
THE GREAT PUMPKIN Challenge has made me hungry!
Make sure you check out our
HallOween Party too Its is going to be so much fun.
Time for personals:
Phyllis- Oh no- sorry that you didn't get out to the mall and that YMG was a tab underfoot. Its another reason that I claim to be eligible for Sainthood, even though I am not technically Catholic. With MMG disabled- he is home 24/7. On the rare occasions that am actually home alone, I don't know what to do with myself, but it feels like heaven.
My Lyme dr is a rheumatoligist. she is putting me on Plaquenil now. Its supposed to help the Rheumatoid factor and should help the inflammation. Lymies can't take steroids (like prednisone) for joint pain b/c it wrecks the immune system even more. Hopefully that will work, have you tried that one for your fibro?
Laurie- hope you were able to get some home stuff and some relax-stuff accomplished yesterday.
Frani- how have you been feeling? Illness all gone?
Oh Clara... don't hold it in, sweetie. let it out!
ound: JK, hon- I don't blame you for being mad. My 2 cents- i think he is trying to make you see the "need" for a 2nd car. What better way then to screw up *your* plans?
But you are 100% right MEN! Bah!
Trudy- yay for no more greys! Why do they have to keep coming back tho??
Nana- I am adoring all of the pics of the kids on your FB page- sooo sweet!! I am glad to hear that they are settling in, kids that age crave stability and probably don't even have the words to express that.
Love cornbread too! Yummy!!
BB- ouch, that foot surgery sounds tough. Gary had some bone growth cut off the top of his foot a few years back and it took a long time for him to recover from that. Feet are especially hard to heal because of gravity, so keep doing what you are doing and enjoy it as best as you can!!
Hi maureen!
Andrea- hugs to you...... I feel bad about complaining about Gary being home all of the time, when yours isn't in the same country, again.
Any news on MIL? Hope she is doing good- sounds like she was inthe best place if anything was going to happen.
Don't beat yourself up about the OT appt!! We all do crap stuff like that- you have no idea how many times I forgot the kids meds schedules- or even just a couple of weeks ago, I was giving Cait the wrong dose of one abx. The fact that you feel bad means that your are a terrific mom- its the ones that don't care that are the sucky ones. You have sooo incredibly much on your plate and to be trying to handle it all on your own... I give you credit for just getting out of bed every day. hugs and enjoy that chocolate!
Clara- you are a good friend! And an awesome mom and wife too. And an even better Soul Sista!!
xoxo to everyone!!
