Friday the 13th's have never been "bad days," most times they are good ones.

This one-- ooooh boy, it is 7 am and I am trying very hard to keep my s*** together. I am so sorry for bringing my negativity into this space yet again, but I just have to say how much I HATE F-ing DT. HATE. To the very core of my being and I don't think that I have ever said or felt this way about anyone or anything. Yeah, I hate ticks and Lyme Disease but we are like BFFs in comparison. It honestly scares me how much I despise him. I will try to keep this brief, so in one sentence he has blown up the Affordable Care Act on 2 different fronts yesterday. There will be a good chance that I will not be able to afford a freaking lick of insurance. Possibly by next month.

Yesterday was a long day, but it was nice to be at myMILs. They are on vacation so I was on my own. It is always so much easier to clean other people's houses.
But when I got home, Gary said that Jaida has loose stool with blood in it, so I ran a sample to the vet. The tech said that was actually very common to happen after Giardia treatment and said it wasn't necessary to run any tests. J and W are now on a rice and boiled chicken diet for a couple of days and then we will see how they are doing after that. All three dogs will need a second round of the Panacur, instead of just Whisky.

Scott's possible car had a couple of things that needed to get taken care of the owner said that he would take care of everything except the rear brakes since they had at least another 5K miles on them. So if all goes as planned, he should have a new car in a few days.

Today, Cait and I are off to Planned Parenthood for her to get her annual exam. Good thing I love to sit and wait in Dr's offices. :p
I also must get an appt with my breast surgeon ASAP and that bone density test in case I don't have coverage soon. And a well-care check up... What else can I squeeze into the next month???

I better remember that I need to make gravy today. Tomorrow is the Mourning Tea and I am bringing ravioli and homemade sauce in honor of my grandparents. Thanksgiving in an Italian Family has a first course of beef and pasta soup, second course-- ravioli, and then who cared about the turkey after that?

Hope that all of you have a wonderful day! Please send good vibes my way. I need them

Nancy- that sounds crazy about the water meter. where could it be hiding?? Congrats on the Devils and Yankees wins!
Did you have a lot of shows on the DVR? Hopefully, they are On Demand, even if you get stuck with the commercials.
What a relief that Luther is doing better!

Trudy- that is exactly how my brain has been. No matter how much I try to get organized, I simply can't seem to keep it together.I hope that you are able to get what you need to so for your calendars. Sometimes just getting started is the hardest part.
Great news with the dishwasher-- having gone through it with both our dishwasher and washing machine, I know how much that means!!!

Felis- good for you for following your To-Do list and for having time to scrap!! :cheer2:
Yes, the vet has me picking up a second round of meds for the dogs in 2 weeks and then do a stool recheck in 2-3 months. Thank you so much for your advice-- good to know that I am on the right track with them.

Rae- that sounds like a nightmare! I hope that they are able to get you in soon to fix the modem. Our wi-fi router is giving us fits and it is so erratic that we can't figure it out, so I sympathize. Hope that Taz is better and better. I also understand how you feel with that!

happy Friday my lOves-- go do something nice for yourselves, you deserve it !!!

good morning and yes I have heard that Trump is ruining our health care. It won't effect him so what does he care. He also wants FEMA out of Puerto Rico. It is sad. Today Luther is off to daycare. I have a Devils game tonight so that will be fun. Other than that the day is mine. I talked to my DH and he too could not find the water meter so I am glad that I was not the only one who could not find the meter. Now to call the water company and find out what they have to do. Not sure how they have been reading the meter if there was none. Believe me it is not like I nor my DH would have even known how to take it out. Crazy. Got my new DVR and now to rewatch shows so I can record them LOL. I did find a new book that you all might like. It is called the Power. It is about how girls 15 years old start to have this power to use electricity to hurt and when not controlled kill. Well the men don't have it so women begin to take over. It is a pretty interesting premiss.

Chris I am so sorry about this health care mess. I thought Obamacare was a law so not sure how an executive order can do away with a law. Our senators at least are trying to fight but not sure what more they can do. Glad to hear that the car should work out. That is awesome for Scott.

Trudy I understand about starting a calendar. It always comes down to what photos. You have been on so many family adventures and hikes. It will be hard!

Rae it is the pits when all is lost but maybe starting new on my DVR is not a bad thing. My son had so much stuff so yea! Hope you get a quick resolve. And not being able to PVR is the pits. Hope Taz is much better.

Felis way to go with the to do list! Very impressive and still time to scrap!

Jean waving hi!

Have a great day all!

I'm superstitious for many things, but not for these popular beliefs, so for me this is just Friday. Yay, Friday! It's cloudy but still pretty warm, so I prefer to go on a dog walk before to become cold and dark. But we have to wait one delivery for my mom (she work at the afternoon). Hope to come soon, because in other cases I'll have to skip the walk. I was a litlle bit distracted today, broke one thing, missed to do something, didn't save what I'm done on one LO and ect., all kind of little things that have to go back and do again. But I think it's because this waiting makes me nervous, not because of the date.

Chris, oh, your poor fur babies, they have a hard time now! I really don't understand the Fate, why every good things that we try to do bring complications?! Sometimes that's brings me so mad! But looks like yours other babies LOL do well. That is good news about the Scot's car. In this cases here we wish: trouble-free driving!! And I'm sure that today will be lucky day for Cait's exam (Every day would be).

Nancy, I wasn't understood that Luther is been feel bad too. Hope now all is normal! What a naughty water meter you had :) , but this is fun story, will gone even better if the water company couldn't find it too :tongue1:. What is the author of this book that you mentioned ?!

Trudy, Jean and Rae wish you lucky Friday!

Good morning, ladies. Have to make this quick. It's payroll day and I need to get a few more files done before sending in my invoice soon. Friday the 13th is our lucky day. We had our first date on Fri the 13th, 22 yrs ago. Today is our 20th anniversary. We'll stay home and D wants to order pizza with everything on it (he doesn't get pizza much anymore b/c of my keto diet). I'm going to have pizza, scrapping toppings off the crust, then will add in lots of extra mozza and spiced beef (already cooked and in the fridge). I told him food isn't such a big deal now to me so he got to choose.

Taz is still feeling sick but seems to be slowly getting better. No word from shaw yet. Luckily we have our android box so were able to watch that last night. Tonight we'll watch a movie with dinner and play online scrabble together. Boring but suits us just fine.

Chris - so sorry to hear of the lasted DT fiasco. Hope things somehow work out for you guys with whatever changes are made. I'm sending you good vibes and hugs today.

Nancy - you can't find your water meter and I couldn't find our phone modem yesterday. It's a crazy week I think.

Felis - the author of that book is Naomi Alderman. Its in my hold list for our digital library. I get my copy in a couple of weeks. Looks interesting.

Trudy and Jean....hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

I need to get going to work. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone! Well I went and jinxed my dishwasher saying that it was working fine again! Yup its dead now, nothing is working on it and its is of course filled to the brim with dirty dishes! :gaah: now I have to spend the morning washing sink loads of dishes! We will be purchasing a new one this weekend, but I am having a Norwex Party on Sunday so I hope that we can get it before then. The house will be filled with chatty ladies and lots of tea and coffee cups LOL. Yesterday the pool was nice and quiet and started to fill up just when I was ready to leave. I guess I timed it perfectly! Looking out the window this morning I can hardly believe my eyes, but the mountain top in the far distance has snow on it! Ughh not the "S" word already! :fear:

Chris - I can't imagine how awful you must feel about possibly losing your health care! What a silly ass your President is!! Like Nancy says it doesn't affect him, so why should he care! I truly do not understand how he is still in power or how someone hasn't taken a shot at him.
No one can blame you for the hatred you feel for this man! I imagine that most of the States feel the same way! Sad that your fur babies are still having issues, hopefully everyone will be nice and healthy soon! I hope that Cait's appt goes well, it is nice that you are going with her. It would not be my favourite way to spend the day! But we do what needs to be done for our kids right? Glad to hear that Scott will soon have his new vehicle and that there is nothing major to be done with it! I hope that you hear some good news today!

Nancy - How weird that you can't find the water metre! It must be there otherwise how on earth are they reading it?? Glad that your new DVR has arrived and you can get back to your shows! That book sounds interesting perhaps it would be a good thing if it could happen in real life :becky: The world could not be any worse if women ruled it. I did manage to get one calendar page done yesterday, I typically just use photos of the kids and grandkids and not my hike pages, but it would be a good idea to do one of my hikes just for DH and myself as we use many calendars in our house. DH likes to use one just to keep track of when his wine needs stuff added to it or when its time to bottle and another to keep track of when our garbage and recycling days are. I will be busy with Calendars LOL!

Feels - I am not very superstitious either so this Friday the 13th is just another Friday for us also. I hope you are able to get out for your walk with your dog!

Rae - Sounds like another busy morning for you today! I sure hope that Taz is feeling better soon, your household has had its share of sickness this month! Darn shaw repair guys, they must be super busy not to be able to come to your house sooner. Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby!! Enjoy the pizza toppings! I totally agree that food is not such a big deal anymore, but that's a good thing! I have a friend from Sask. that wanted info on Keto so I have been helping her out to get started, she has lost thirteen pounds already and its only been a couple of weeks. She was quite heavy so I guess thats why, I have been stuck at the same weight for a few weeks now, but thats ok I am happy at the weight that I am now and so happy that I now fit into a size small top! Hooray!! I enjoy shopping for clothes so much more now, even bathing suits LOL. Hope shaw shows up soon for you, perhaps if you threaten to leave them for Telus, they will get there much sooner!!

Hi Jean - I hope you are having a nice day!

Have already facetimed with Heather and Hunter, he is a bit cranky today and not sleeping very well today, so it was short FaceTime but always nice to see their faces! I am missing Mason though and DD is just too busy when he arrives home to FaceTime with me then. Its ok we try to connect on the weekends when Grandpa can be a part of it too! We are so looking forward to having everyone here at Christmas! Have a wonderful Friday the 13th ladies! I hope something wonderful happens for you all today!

The 13th is always supposed to be a good day for me, but the 12th had a problem that left us without internet for a while. Turned out that when we changed a password, it had to be changed on the modem too. So simple, but frustrating for a while.

Chris, good luck with scheduling appts. in the next month. The orange monster is wreaking havoc and smirking in photo ops. I can't really comment without frothing at the mouth. Good work for Cait! Scott hopefully will have a sound vehicle soon and apparently getting there with school.

Nancy, way to go Devils! Thanks for kind wishes for Indians. We just don't understand.

Felis, congrats on following a list and scrapping a page. I've got my week 40 started, but 41 is almost over, so I'm really behind.

Rae, congrats on anniversary 20! Sounds like a nice evening. Hope Taz is better soon.

Trudy, sorry about the dishwasher! Hope you got everything washed without dishpan hands. Please, don't use that s... word yet. Hope you've got the new dishwasher before Sunday and the chatty ladies. Sounds fun though.
