Woo hoo! TGIF!!
Whatta week!

I have to ask, who came here while I was asleep and hooked a vodka IV up to me? I feel like I have been on a month-long bender. My eyes are gritty, my head hurts. Everything kind of aches.

Most of my day was steam cleaning and guess what happened as soon as I was done? Literally, 1 hour later. Ray had an accident :( I feel so bad for her, I can tell she is upset. I think that her muscles are getting weaker. My poor girl.
Today- I am going with Caitlyn to the vet. Cordelia might have a urinary tract/bladder infection. At least that is what we hope it is. That would be treatable.

Needless to say, I am feeling like a soggy dishrag. If any of you want to come by and switch me over to a coffee IV, I will take it!

Have a wonderful day and know that am sending you all some hugs!

Good morning ladies... I am up early and got my DH some breakfast and sent him off to work. He will have the next 5 days off, hope he stays out of my hair as I have to get my calendar pages done. He usually keeps himself busy with yard work etc, but other than having to do some raking up of leaves, there really isn't too much left to do in the yards. I have a few small projects I would like him to get done, but other than that I have no idea what he will do :mmph: So I will enjoy my last day of having the house to myself for awhile! LOL. Off to the pool today and then I will pick up my grocery order. We might head up to the In-Laws over the weekend, it is supposed to be a beautiful weekend although much cooler than it has been.

Chris - I am sorry that you are feeling so crappy, do you think that perhaps it is allergies?? That is sad that your poor Ray is having so many accidents, guess you will be doing more steam cleaning today  Hopefully Cordelia can be fixed up quickly! Wish I could come and have a nice cup of coffee with you, we could talk all day and solve all the worlds problems LOL. Hope that you feel better after some caffeine consumption!!

Betty Jo - OMG I just loved that video, your son is truly talented!! I can hardly wait for the next one LOL. I just love the choice of music too, where on earth did he find that? How great that you both get along so well and have the same interests!

Cheryl - Enjoy your trip to the Main drag of your big city LOL. Hope you have a good shopping trip! Loving that you are sharing your progress with us and ITA with Chris, you really are a joyful person!!

Rae - Hope things are still good with your kitty!! I know right? How could I forget to take any photos of my lovely walk!! Hopefully DH and I will do that walk again this weekend in the sunshine! So what made you switch from low carb to Vegan?? Hope that you are doing well with it!!

Ok I will get into the shower and then a face time with Heather, Hunter and Mason today. Mason is home from school as it is a PA day for the teachers. I haven't talked to Mason in ages, so it will be good to see his face again! Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

Morning all. Yesterday was a busy day. Managed to find an external DVD read/write drive at BB and it was on sale! I had checked on-line but it said nothing was in stock but I took a chance and went there. So glad I did. I can move it from one computer to another one so that takes care of the DVD problem. It works like a charm!!! Just plug it into a USB port and it is ready to read or write. Yes, I got some AA batteries while I was out so now all the mouse have a new battery. :D Made a quick stop for a few groceries on the way home.

Cheryl, I love the granite you chose... I don't blame you for falling in love with it! Great to see the paint on the walls... it is a few shades darker than my house. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Betty Jo, enjoyed the video... WOW... wonderful photography on it. Thanks for sharing it.

Chris, sure how you get to feeling better. Hope it gets better soon. Oh, poor Ray... sure he didn't mean to have an accident right after you shampooed the carpet.

Trudy, hope your DH can find some chores to do around the house/yard and leave you to do what you need to do today. Enjoy your swim.

Time for another cup of coffee and get dressed.

I am going to try and do quick personals from yesterday:

Trudy- the walk/hike must have been so pretty with the leaves coming down.hope you get your Gary out with you before they all turn brown. The weather also sounds amazing- like that here today! You are a keto rockstar and inspiration!

Betty Jo- I only saw a bit of the video, I am going to go back to it when I can appreciate it better, but beautiful views from what I saw --breathtaking! What does your DS do, would he ever try to be a professional photo/videographer?

Cheryl- back atcha!!!
Some days it feels like I am smothered in muck so seeing so much good happening in your life and with your family warms my heart. TFS the journey!

Rae- It is crazy how dogs take up so much space when they want to and it isn't available and then be a teeny tiny donut when they have plenty of room. How is Taz today?
Great news about Noel!!

Hugs!!

Hi Everyone,

I have severe Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS) and some back issues. So, what did I do this morning? I tried a new-to-me way of cleaning my bathtubs I recently read about. I used the Blue Professional Dawn Dish Liquid, as recommended, with a broom I bought just for the tubs. I wore a mask. Using the broom and the Dawn worked like a charm on my tubs, so much easier than normal, and I didn't have any back issues. But, the chemical smell of the Dawn is so strong I'm now having to open windows and use a fan to blow out the smell. I'll try using my unscented dish liquid next time 'round and see if that works.

Chris - So sorry you're not feeling well this morning. And I agree - TGIF! I too got up with a headache, and that is unusual for me, and the Dawn I mentioned above has made it worse. I do hope your Ray will be okay, and that Cordelia does have something easily treatable.

Trudy - Enjoy your day of having the house to yourself. I hope you manage to get your digi work done even with your hubby around. Maybe just keep finding things to keep him busy. We women are so good at that. :) I remember what those days were like when my hubby was around and I had to do digi work online. But now, I'd give anything to have those days back again, just to have him, back again.

Thanks about the video. It was such fun to make and we'll be starting another one tomorrow. We're leaving at 5:30 in hopes of catching sunup at a special place in the mountains about an hour and a half away from us. I'm not sure where Chris gets the music. He has a special program for processing video and the music is either included in the program or there are places he can purchase it for video use. I'll have to ask him about that and get back to you.

Kay - I'm so glad you found a solution for the computer woes and that BB had what you needed. I've always had good luck with my electronic needs shopping with them.

Well, I have lots to do before leaving early tomorrow morning with my son . . . catch y'all later and have a super start to your weekend . . .

Good morning, ladies. The sun is shining and I got out into the yard for a few minutes to take photos. What a great way to start my day.

Chris - poor Ray and Cordelia. How old is Ray now? I'll share my coffee with you. Jen has a pot going downstairs and I have one upstairs...there is no shortage of coffee here :)

Trudy - I keep reading about nutrition and although high fat works for energy and weight loss, I started to worry about the long term effects, not benefiting from the nutrition of so many fruits/veggies. So I transitioned into Trim Healthy Mama (moderate fat/carb cycling). I didn't lose much weight but felt good. I have been on the fence about meat for a long time, not feeling good about the humane aspect of how animals are treated. So I did some research and decided to give a plant based diet a try. I eat eggs and a bit of cheese too. I was surprised that I don't even miss the meat. I eat rice/beans/potatoes/veggies/fruits/whole grains. I eat a lot of buddah/nourish type bowls. I am slowly loosing the extra weight I gained from all the restaurant foods with Bailey and then covid weight. So figure I'll be back to my normal weight by Christmas. I think that some can sustain a healthy life on one plan but then others like me morph into something different along the way.

Ok, I'd better get to work now after that long reply to Trudy's question :) Have a good day everyone.

Morning lovelies! I'm actually on here before noon. Well, I have 6 minutes, so by the time I post this, it will be afternoon. LOLOL

Chris, sorry you're feeling "hungover" - don't you hate when you feel hungover and you didn't even enjoy yourself??? {Plop Plop fizz fizz - remember that old Alka Seltzer commercial?} I'd like to have a coffee IV drip right now, myself.

Trudy, you made me giggle about DH "not being in your hair". Haha SO true - it was like a lightening bolt hit when mine finally retired. He retired from his "real job" of 43 years, then worked for several more years kind of part time. Then, one day, he came home and announced that he was done. YAY J/K

Kay, YAY for getting an EHD! I know that will make your life so much easier. I don't know what I'd do without mine. (I have 5 of them. Haha) Don't judge me.

Our trip to the big city went well, yesterday. We're laying low right now due to the increase of the virus. I think I'll go to Braden's football game tonight, though. I figure that being outside will probably be safe enough. It's his last home game and it's warm, so I'd better take advantage of the weather.

Hope everybody has a good day - I need more coffee now. Daisy and I walked up the hill yesterday and she's waiting for her walk today. It's almost a 1/2 mile from our front door to the top of the hill. Then we have to walk all the way down. Walking down is more treacherous than walking up. There's a lot of loose gravel and rocks, so we have to come down slowly.

Hugs to all.
