Woo hoo! Friday is here! And with it iDSD 2015 is here!

I will have to be quick thins morning, I have to get the kids up and out of bed in 10 mins. Neither of them will be happy but what can you do?

I have good news to share for both kids this morning.

Caitlyn's school didn't have a bomb thread yesterday.:clap2:
Oh. Wait.
She didn't have school. hahaha!!!!

The best news was from Scott. He met with his counselor about classes for next semester and declaring a Major. He was thinking about just going with Humanities, b/c all of the classes he has taken so far would fit into it. But after talking with her, he decided to go with a Psychology Major. It will mean a few extra classes, but all ones that he will enjoy, and several with a teacher he really respects. He actually came home excited.
We have told him to take his time figuring out what he wants to do, that it is better to take longer, but to really enjoy and absorb the information. He figures it will take him close to 3 years to get his Associates Degree rather than 2. But if he graduates with better knowledge and sense of self- that is a payoff for the rest of his life. I was pretty darn proud of him that he took our advice to heat.

He also got his grade from a major Philosophy test. The teacher says that he doesn't give A's unless it is truly exceptional. One kid got a 94, and Scott got an 87! The next batch of scores were in the 70's. He was really proud of himself, as he should be. Philosophy isn't an easy course and he works hard.

Off to the kids' LLMD today. I am bummed that his regular nurse/office mgr won't be there. She is off today since her kids don't have school either. I adore her and she is so much like me that we always have a good time.

My mom wants to talk about Christmas lists today too. :hurt:
Not ready!!!!!

Off to wakes the grumblings beasts.

Have a wonderful day and enjoy the sales!!!!

Morning O fam- rainy here. That will keep me focused on cleaning/organizing and hopefully shopping!

Morning O-zies... :rain: here today and sounds like we are in for a huge amount of the wet stuff for the weekend. Much needed to fill up those lakes and rivers! DH and I were going to head to Victoria to see the new Bond movie on Saturday, but with the threat of torrential rains I think it best we stay home and off the dangerous Malahat Drive! Its not really the road that is so dangerous, its the drivers who go far to fast on it.

Chris - What a fabulous young man your son is!! Sounds like he has it all figured out! Hopefully everything goes along smoothly and all his classes are always exciting for him! Hope your trip to the Dr. is not long and drawn out and that there is good news! Enjoy the weekend filled with lots scrapping and excitement of IDSD!!

I am going to get some breakfast and start scrapping myself, hope to see everyone's beautiful work in the gallery all weekend long! Have fun shopping everyone!

Rainy here too, on and off, it threw it down yesterday so not too bad today, so typical laundry style in the kitchen with clothes hanging up to dry and tumble drier on for things that do not shrink too much in the tumbler!! already had to throw out some trousers that shrank to kiddy size! timetable for next week is up to Darlington- our nearest big town so Robbie can spend his "earnings"- they get a tiny pocket money style wage for attendance at his centre- they all take it very seriously and call it their pay packet. With 5 weeks worth Robbie can have a shopping spree in HMV. Rest of the week is a couple of swims a trip to the new shopping centre on the garrison and low key around here things.
Looks like Scott is sorting out his course/subjects/future etc bet it makes you feel old. My eldest is on his second round of uni now, doing his nursing degree, which he needs to progress in the field he has chosen for his career.

Hope the rain doesnt get too bad for you Trudy.
Waving hi to Laurie and all that follow have a great weekend
Claire

Good morning, ladies! It's a cold, rainy morning here. I have a light workday so am looking forward to some scrapping and editing (need to finish up wedding and portrait sessions) but I'll be scrapping too over the weekend. I'm off to get some blood work done this afternoon (thyroid) and groceries and then can snuggle into my office and play. I also will catch up on the new season of The Affair and The Leftovers. Right now I'm watching Haven (the show not the movie).
