Happy, Happy Friday!
Finally, it feels like the day it actually is. I guess there is hope for me after all. ;)

Yesterday was a blur. So much good and so much not so good all day long. I was able to get a bunch of the Halloween stuff packed away, but there is still more to do. I wasn't able to get anything at all prepped for F-W's although I did update the flyer from last year and posted that on FB. That means I have *no choice* but to get myself moving along.
One of the other good things was that the weather was so nice that Cait and I took all 3 dogs for a hike and then to the dog park. It was "interesting" to say the least with the three of them between two people and that Whisky never went on a hike with us. She had barely been off of our property since she had been "quarantined" with Giardia. Ray was having a lot of fun too and was actually running (slowly running but running nonetheless) at the park.

Some of the bad has to do with Caitlyn's car. She had to drop it off at the shop since the heater fan wasn't working. Then the hinges on the hood broke while she was there. They have to order the part and it isn't driveable until it is fixed. Damn it, it never ends!
Gary made some of the most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Mozzarella, on Italian bread with rosemary, and we watched 2 more episodes of Stranger Things (again OMG!!) and I had a lovely glass of wine.

Today, Caitlyn, my mom and I are going to head out to get some Christmas Gift Ideas. (ugh!!!!!!!!) and I have to get something for my dad for his birthday next week. And double ugh- I never got my blood work done...
triple ugh- I have to find the other half (barf!!) of the mouse that Catzilla was crunching on this morning. Gary got one part, but not the entire thing.

When my alarm went off I was in the middle of a dream where someone was making me put huge worms on skewers. I was so happy to wake up out of that until I heard *crunch crunch* and looked down at Kibs eating a mouse. ahhhhhhh! : faint:

Not the best start to my day, but I have had a couple of cups of coffee :cof1: and I am here with you!

Have a super day, O-zies!

Felis- oh no, so sorry to hear about the pain still there and getting worse. I tend to carry a lot of my stress in my neck and shoulders so I understand what you are going through. I hope that things with your family will be ok. Sending much love and peace to you!

Nancy- wasn't the weather amazing? Cait and I couldn't get over that it was Nov and we were out with the dogs in T-shirts. Bet Luther is loving it!
What is the Devils record now, they seem to be doing so well.
Gary's cousin is a hairdresser and she calls them hair splinters. They sound really painful and sheesh, I can't imagine getting them from dog hair.and then needing IV abx.
That little brat of a dog (Whisky) already chewed up half of the one toy. Durable, my a**!! I was shocked to see it in pieces LOL

Trudy- sorry to hear that you are going to be grey and rainy for a few days. The hike sounds very nice even if you had to wear gloves. :D
I am struggling too with holiday decorations and all. I was thinking I would leave some Fall things out until we do Christmas, but just can't. I have too much crap in my house as it is!
That is sad to hear about Mason, FWIW- Christopher went through that too and still does even though he is in 1st grade. Between school and aftercare and afterschool activities and weekend plans, the poor kid melts down.
wow, that is fascinating and sad about the airplane.

Rae- bet you feel so much better after you and Taz getting a good night's sleep.
That doesn't surprise me at all that the bear knew how to unscrew the bird feeder. They figured out how to open up the bear cans by rolling them or jumping on them, which is why ours is padlocked to our railing.
I am so glad that you were able to get some advice from Shar. You know your body best and it is hard to tell a Dr that you are going against his/her orders. I was stressed when I told my breast surgeon that I was *not* doing hormone therapy. Thankfully, she was wonderful and understanding, although the medical oncologist was not as much. But do what you feel is right.
How is your haircut? Next time I get mine done, I am going to get a few inches taken off too.
At for CT stuff- we have all been there and there is no need to feel like you have to be Superwoman. We got your back!

jean- Sure, make me feel guilty that I haven't gotten my blood work done yet :p Glad that you got to see the World Series and best of luck to your team next season.
You all know me too well, I am going to stress no matter what I do and how much I prep. hahahah!!!

Hugs to all!

good morning - well Luther is off at doggie day care and both boys had to go to work early so I am happy home and alone. The weather is crazy as it is foggy and so weird as it is so warm. Just as I am taking Luther my son calls to say he forgot his badge but luckily all I had to do was to take it over to his friend's home and he will bring it to my son because I was not. So today I shall scrap.

Chris I am amazed how much you got done and so glad that you and Cait got the dogs out for a hike and run. This must mean that Cait is doing so much better. Wow that is something how your dream was matching the sounds of the cat eating. I guess the mice are feeling the need to be warm. Hope Gary finds the other part. Have fun shopping with your mom and Cait. Should be a fairly nice day.

Trudy that is awesome you had such good weather for your hike. Remarkable that the plane was lost for so long. The ceremony will be moving I am sure. Hope that the grey weather does not last too long.

Rae doctors always think they know what is best but you have not been his patient for that long so maybe with more talking he will come to see that you have done research and that you do know your own body. I have been with my doctor for so long that he listens. Glad that you and Taz got a good night's sleep.

Jean glad you got your blood work done. Next year will be an interesting one for all baseball teams.

Felis waving hi!

Have a great day all!

Morning O-zies... brrr! It is cold here this morning and last night around supper time it was trying to snow!! I know!!! That darn "S" word! :smow: But it did not stick around thankfully and is probably all white on the mountain tops, but its still too dark outside to tell. Yesterday was one of those days where I felt like I got very little accomplished. I did however get some work done on my calendar and I will soon be finished, it will be nice to have it done early this year. DH cut out some more wood pieces for my nativity and so I will have to get them all sanded and painted up. I really hope to get a page scrapped today too. Perhaps it will actually happen for me today??

Chris - It is so nice to hear that you have had such lovely weather and were able to get outside with the dogs! Sounds like Cait must be on the mend also, I truly hope she is! Ugh about her car! It really never ends does it!! Yuck on waking up to the sound of the Cat crunching on a mouse Ewww! Sure hope you locate the missing pieces! Hope you get the rest of your Halloween things put away today. I am not looking forward to dragging all the bins of Christmas things out of the crawl space, it is a back breaker to be down there, but at least we have the storage room. I should really go through all of my Christmas stuff and get rid of the old things that I do not use anymore. Time to declutter.

Nancy - Isn't nice to have the house all to yourself early in morning! I was up with DH this morning and got his breakfast, he was very thankful to have something more than cereal in his tummy this morning! He had to scrape his windshield this morning brrr!! I am looking forward to next weeks hike, but the weather does not sound good for that day, so I will have to decide if it is worth getting chilled to the bone or not. No fun hiking in the pouring rain and cold. Have fun with your scrapping today, I will have to check out the gallery later on!

:hello: to everyone else who pops in here today. I am off to get my second cup of coffee and get started on my October Calendar page. Have a fun friday everyone!

Good morning, ladies. Woke to a dusting of snow this morning. I went out onto the back porch to take some photos with my phone and then after getting a coffee (a few minutes later so it was getting lighter out) I grabbed my dslr and took some photos. They'll be fun to scrap with. I loved the blend of autumn color and snow.

Talked to my main client last night and he was telling me that the other doctor has been complaining this week about the work backlog with both myself and the other woman. She asked how quick his turnaround time is and its 24 hours for him so now she wants that too which is totally unrealistic as she is my secondary client and the other woman has other clients too. But I trying not to stress about it, I will work as diligently as I can and see if it can work out.

Got a few inches taken off my hair and it feels better, not so straggly (thin hair problem). Talked to Jen and we're going to bring the monitor back on Sunday and exchange it for another one that is also a 4k ips monitor which should be a better match with my other monitor for color profile and whatever. I don't really understand it all but Jen has the tech supervisor working with us to pick out the best one. Should be interesting, talking to him on Sunday. Beckham is coming tomorrow for the night until mid day Sunday, so am looking forward to that.

Chris - yuck about the mouse. The only time it happened here with Taz and a bird, I had to leave the room and let D deal with it. I couldn't. That sucks about Cait's car. It's always something isn't it?

Nancy - enjoy your day of scrapping.

Trudy - looking forward to see pics of your nativity set when you finish it. I am in awe of your talents!

Felis - hope you are feeling better today.

Jean and everyone else...hope you are having a good day.

Grabbing a coffee and getting to work. Have a great day, everyone.

We had rain overnight and it's cooler and windy today, but still better than having the s*** word! Got my lab results and all are normal or at least better than last time, so I am very pleased. Now to see if BP is improved when I have to get that checked again next week. Currently working on a heritage page with a photo I scrapped a very long time ago and want to do better.

Chris, yikes! What a way to have the cat & mouse wake you from an icky dream they inspired. Impressed that Cait must be better, so now it's her car instead. Well, if you had to choose, it would have to be the car and not her. Hope all the chores don't overwhelm today.

Nancy, nice peaceful morning! I know your scrapping will be great. I looked at the listing of sports on today, and feel sad that there's nothing I care about. Hope the Devils will keep winning for you.

Trudy, oh no! not s***! At least it didn't last by you. Hope next week turns out nicer than expected so you can go on the hike. Have fun with the calendar and the nativity. You know we'll want to see both.

Rae, we'll want to see you photos too even if they are of that bad s***. Good luck with getting a better behaved monitor.

Felis, thinking of you and hoping you're feeling better.

Cheers to all.
