Happy Friday! TGIF to all of us! Happy day after turkey day to us crazy Americans.

We had a really nice Thanksgiving. It was at my mom's and my IL's were there too. Nice, low key- good food, good laughter.

I made a (crappy) toast this year, but wanted to say to my family how much I appreciated them and could not have made it through this past year w/o them. I got my words all jumbled up but I think they figured out what I was trying to say.

Cait and I took a bunch of pics- I hope to get them off my camera in a little bit.

Off to drink some coffee- anyone else need a refill?

HELLO MY O FAMILY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got home a few minutes ago from Breakfast with my Mom Dad and Brother....Today is my Mom's B-day!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! It was a nice breakfast!!!

Yesterday was EXHAUSTING!!!!!!!!!!! I cooked all day, and we ate at 4...right on time!!! everyone was gone by 8:30...I rested for a bit and then psyched my self up for going out at midnight last night....I went to Toys R Us with the girls....UUGGHH!! You can read about that in the Thanksgiving Dinner/Day thread.....

It is all very quiet here at my house again...no babysitting today...and I am going to get my camera book out and learn how to use this monster!!! I have never used a DSLR before...so I know NOTHING about them....other than what I have read online...I took some photos yesterday with it, but they did not come out all that great...mostly the color...they were very RED....I am sure there is some setting that caused this....I will just change those to b/w photos!! LOL!!! I have to use them...cause Jaiden had her hair in pigtails for the first time!! TOO DARN CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning ladies! Hope everyone in the States have recovered from Thanksgiving.

Ours was wonderful. There were 15 of us...my nephew called about an hour before lunch and asked if there was room for one more because he wanted to bring his girlfriend. And we pushed it back to 1 o'clock because Hannah's boyfriend's family does their Thanksgiving at noon. I think we are heading into another stage of life.

No work today...a four day weekend...got to love it! Started by heading into the trainer for an hour long session. I really dreaded it, but feel good that I made it through it!

Got lots of scrapping done last night. And have you seen the gallery? So inspiring! I'll be back in later to see how everyone is doing.
 
Popping in here for a quick comment.

LindaW.. the photos were probably orangish because of the white balance being off, (something you'll probably read in your book). The good thing is you can still fix that and have them in color. It depends on the software you use, (I love Lightroom for that stuff, and you can download a trial version of it....but I'm sure PSE may have a color adjuster too somewhere, just don't know where since I use PS ).

Happy day after Thanksgiving! I slept in this morning and am skipping work, and just had some leftovers for my lunch. Doing laundry right now though, so still working a litle!

Now off to the gallery for some inspiration, then I'm opening up PS and making some new LOs!
 
Hey, guys. Guess what happens when you spend the first part of the week getting ready for Thanksgiving, and then enjoying Thanksgiving? You spend all day Black Friday in your jammies doing MATH!!! Oh, that is if you are me and you are taking Algebra, and your professor was nice enough to excuse all assignments till Friday. Argh. When we were going to Great Wolf Lodge a couple of weeks ago, I was smart enough to finish all my homework BEFORE we went. This week, I was not so smart.

Soooo... I didn't get any creating of LOs done like I wanted today, but I did get some posted though from the last couple days. The first reason was because I kicked my dad's butt at Monopoly earlier this evening, and then because I was busy with creating something else and I'd love anyone's thoughts & opinions on it... check it out here http://blog.through-my-eyes.org/ for me :)

I do have new Oscraps goodies to play with though, so I'll be unzipping and playing with those in the morning!! Woo hoo!

Also on tomorrow's agenda, (nearly today's lol), is editing some sessions and then maybe going to the drive-in movies with my brother & his friends to see "Where the Wild Things Are" "New Moon" (second time for me!!), and some other movie that I can't remember right now.

I hope everyone was alright today! It has been a little quiet ;)
 
hey elisa, i left you some love on your blog!! just gorgeous, darling!!!

i've spent most of the day on my laptop, getting over all of the wonderful family time we had yesterday (check out my gallery to see LOs already of yesterday's festivities)...and realized at about 6:30pm tonight that I didn't have anything for emma's cowpoke party for tomorrow. So cora, emma and i ran over to the dollar store and hobby lobby and got everything we needed (except some beans and cornbread and marshmellows) for the party tomorrow!! So now I probably need to go to be so I'm ready for 10 10yos tomorrow! :)
