Nooooooo!! Guess what, my dear O-Fam? I don't think this is allergies, I think it is a cold. :hurt: Crud. I felt pretty ok for most of the day but by dinner time, my entire head felt like it was gonna blow up. I am guessing a cold with allergies making it just a bit more fun. We have stirred up so much dust and fur the last couple of days it is a wonder that any of us can breathe.
Gary did a second coat of spackle in a few places while I started to tape off the DR and finished putting the Disney Collectibles away. The four of us carved pumpkins in the afternoon. I did a baby bat- in honor of the "stupid baby" vampire, Jenna, in "What We Do In the Shadows." Scott did the "pi" symbol. Pumpkin "pi"
I also needed to clean up puppy diarrhea right as I was cooking dinner. while we were carving pumpkins, W took off with what I thought were only a few bites of pumpkin. She must have gotten more than we thought because it went right through her. quite literally. Blech!!!
We got more T or T-ers than we expected. Gary gets so happy when the kids tell him that they like the house. One group said it was the best house ever. Every darn year, it is the same for me-- I get annoyed that I don't see him for a month. That the house is a disaster with pieces and parts of his projects everywhere. But when I see how pleased he is when people tell him that they love what he has done, it makes my heart so happy for him. He doesn't have a lot of ways to make him feel good about himself- like no good job reviews or a client telling him that the work he did was helpful.
Today, I have no idea what I am going to do. The thought of sanding and breathing the dust from that is making my head/throat/lungs hurt. I would like to tape off a bit more so I can start cutting in the ceiling tomorrow. Gary asked me if I have a time frame for this-- all I could say is the sooner it is done, the sooner I can get the house back to "normal." Then I will only have a short period of time before we decorate for Christmas. :faint2:
It is also Nov 1 so I have some Cheery-O things that I need to take care of as well. Enjoy the day!
