gooooOd Morning, Laurie! What a day you are having, all of at excitement! I hope that the internet behaves for you.Awesome awesome news about the dress!!! Doesn't it feel great when your dedication pays off like that??
I am sure you are going to dance divinely! It has to be like riding a bike? I wouldn't know. I don't dance *or* ride bikes LOL
Everyone has been so quiet lately. Hope all of you are well and busy in good ways.
I have been trying to get out and walk every day. Cait and I have been taking the dog and it has been great having her with me. We get a chance to talk- sometimes about silly stuff, sometimes not. The other day she told me her plan for the concert she is going to tomorrow-- there should be a Meet and Greet with one of our fav bands and the singer-- mmm, yeah, I am slightly in love with him! Ha! She is going to try to get him to sign a note that says Hi Mom for me, or is going to see if he'll call me!!! (and I secretly hope she is very successful with that!) She is a riot.
But anyway it goes when we are together..... it is always good to just "be."
My last day of insanity too- before I get a day to relax a bit. Work/babysitting and all that on the list for today. Taking Scott down to Leah's later this afternoon. Then Cait's BFF is coming for dinner and a sleepover before they head out tomorrow for the concert/fest.And we are having chicken for dinner tonight since scott won;t be here.
I am copy and pasting this from another forum since I ended up blabbering way to much there, I figure it is only fair to share it here.
ound:
Here is a quick update on the dinners/and diet plans-- Scott and I spoke to his Lyme dr on Monday about his diet and he was supporting yet cautionary for him. The dr is mostly concerned about fatigue from the lack of protein and L Carnatine being made worse by the effects of Lyme. Scott also shows signs of Adrenal Stress ( i think that is what he called it-- maybe adrenal fatigue?) becasue he has low body temps and low blood pressure, some signs of low blood sugar. (hmmm, just like his mom! LOL). He si testing him for Carnatine levels and we were going to do an Adrenal Saliva Test but it wasn't covered by insurance and would have been another $250. urgh. He is taking a better B vitamin supp and will be adding in a Carnatine supp after his blood work comes back./
Geez-- do you think you know way more about his health that you really need to know? Once I get typing, I guess I can't stop! Ha!!!
Dinners have been ok- doing a lot of veggie/eggs/cheese combos. Yesterday I sauteed a huge bunch of kale with garlic and the guys loved it., I prefer spinach or broc. rabe but I'll def. eat it again.
I was going to have scott cook the kale but he and Gary have been busy the last 3 afternoons installing speakers into his car that he got for his b-day from the grandparents.
He is very willing to research and cook so we'll keep that going as best as we can.
Finish It Friday
Again, I say-- "too much to finish and not enough time/money/energy"
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
