Was it just me or did this feel like a really long week, so far? Computer/money issues, two sick kids, work issues, scrambled brains. I don't know about you girls, but dang, I am really happy it is Friday.

I am cleaning again this morning, but I am hoping that I can get my head into scrapping today. I have had some horrific scrap block. But since it is Friday-- I bet there is going to be a new Anna Lift to try, and I still have Ona's monthly challenge to work on.

Not much else in the way of excitement in my world, how about yours?

Finish it Friday:
I still need to track down that info I need for my taxes. I don't supposed I can just ingore that one part? :noidea: Probably not a good idea, eh?

J-- no need to thank us, we love you and want you to be safe and happy! Glad that it is going to work our with your nephew. I totally hear you on not wanting to ask for help. This is how ridiculous I can be:
The day that I had to call 911 and have Gary committed, my IL's called and said that they had the day off, what were we doing, etc. I reply with, "Well the police and First Aid people are here to take gary to the pysch ward. Would you mind coming up and staying with the ids so I can go to the hospital with him? (they were 5 and 7).
Yes. That is how little I like to ask for help. They were pretty flabbergasted that I didn't ask for help first. I have gotten better over the years however! (Couldn't get much worse!!)

And look at it this way-- you'll have lots of time to hang out at the O while he is gone!

Lauire- OMG that is Gorgeous!!!!!!! How did you process it??

Phyllis-- I got it!! The weather that is. Cold and rainy today, but a good day to come home from work, make some coffee and scrap, right?
Ugh about the lost hours. I swear, dealing with insurance companies is like a full time, very frustrating job- and one in which you *lose* money not gain.

Gary and I tried to watch Sweeney Todd a year or so ago, not realizing it was a musical. Guess it wasn't in our mindset cuz we turned it off. Maybe we should try it again some day.

Kristy-- woot! What are you getting??
 
Good morning ladies! I'm sooooo glad that it is Friday! I am with you Chris...feels like it took a long time to get here! I need to check out the last couple of Daily O's...been a bit of a slacker! I'll definitely get back in here tonight for some personals!
 
funny. it seemed like this week went FAST to me!

my new bedroom furniture pieces are coming today. i hope the fit up the stairs. really BIG chests of drawers. and i hope they don't wreck my pain job all over the place by crashing into the walls!

Chris. what a story. why is it so tough for women to ask for help? because we usually get so little of it? :help:

Morning all!

Up early and feeling energetic so better go exercise before that feeling fades. Lots of errands and catching up today. celebrating my mom's birthday this weekend so off to pick her up an apple pie which is her choice instead of cake. Wonderful homemade bakery which is way better then my pies!! Shopping with my hubby tonight. he has done amazing on his weight loss over the past several months and new clothes are needed................men think so different from women when it somes to new clothes!!

im getting a Nikon D5100 the hubs kept telling me and telling me to get it....so I did lmao....I am not one to spend that much money on myself...but well.....he insisted hahahahahaha and I have been debating it for MONTHS now....and checking reviews and talking to photographers etc....making sure I get the one I really wanted I just need to get a memory card for it now....and im going to give my Nikon Coolpix L100 to my 11 year old daughter :) shes excited to have it.

anyways I too am happy its friday...girls didnt have school today so I got to sleep in...hubby didnt mind me not getting up and getting his breakfast and lunch today :) so I have been up a grand total of 15mins so far LOL

having my cup of tea before i jump on the exercises :)

ohh and its supposed to be like 60 degrees today so I am thinking of taking the kids to the park :) and I do need to get to target to get a birthday gift for one of my 11yr olds friends whose party is on Sunday
 
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! they couldn't get my new furniture to turn the corner at the top of my stairs, so it had to go BACK, and i have to start all over again!!! :frusty:
 
Hello to all...

Flying out of Oahu today and then another flight from LA tomorrow. Finally a message from my xh's wife about more contact from our daughter. She is back in the hosp after the final round of chemo, again with mouth sores that at least I'm not being blamed for and a probable blood transfusion.

It seems she may start radiation...sometime...but she has to be proved to be homeless, no just appearing to be homeless and then she may get into a women's shelter for the duration of her radiation. It's a lot of if this, then that, and maybe...but that is how a lot of her treatement has been. There is now a young (student?) social worker on her case so more will be revealed. I'm so glad our daughter is calling her father these days; he missed the last 20 years of fun and games with her so I feel it's truly his turn, even if he is down in the mountains of NC.

The quiet has been nice but I am looking forward to being back in my own home, kwim?
