Hello O-Zies! :waving1

Today came upon me so fast and took me by surprise. :whip4: Last day of the week, last day of the month, Color Play Day. And I am not prepared. Nope.
I have no idea how this week spiraled out of control for me. But it is what it is, gotta pick up the scattered pieces and pull myself together.

I had one of those weird time-warpy days. I felt like I was running late all day but I really wasn't. Thought I had lots of time but didn't. Do you ever have days when time is so elastic it feels like it snaps back on you? Or that you are on the end of a bungee cord? *boinnnnngggg*
That was me all day long. *G*
I have a to-do list a mile long and I have to get most of it done before my mom comes here this morning. By the time she heads out, I am usually mentally drained. Picture me and someone who talks more meandering than me in the same room for a few hours. It's a good thing we love each other. :lol23:

FiF - Finish it Friday - Things you hope to finish up. A project you started, a layout, a procrastinated chore etc.

My FiF is everything on my list. I think I need to rank them in order of importance or time sensitivity or something. Or something... *wink*

Whatever you do today, I hope your day is a happy one.

@LSlycord I feel the same about you. I love hearing about your days even if I am 100% jealous over your weather. And your flowers. haha! Shopping for baby/little clothes is fun. How is your niece (niece-in-law? sorry can't remember!) feeling with the twins' due date coming closer?

I love her yoga videos because she goes through all of the variations and adaptations based on your ability. And she makes you feel absolutely fine when you need to go easier which is comforting to a perfectionist like me. The video is listed as 28/29 minutes long but for the first few minutes, she talks about spine health and energy so you can F-FWD through that if you want.

@Su_Sanne I am very much a beginner in yoga but I really enjoy it. I am not athletic at all (Who was picked last for teams in gym class every time? Me!!). Nor am I very coordinated. (Who would fail a Field Sobriety Tets while completely sober? Also me!!) Yoga is such a nice way for me to move and exercise a little without hurting myself or being self-conscious. I hope that you try it!

@bcgal00 I hope you got to see lots of wildlife with your friend!

@Nonni F That makes sense about the cellophane on a wound. You must have tons of tricks like that up your sleeve.
BTW- I love that you sign off with "PEACE." It gives me a reminder to feel that in my day :loveangel:
We used to have a hippie emoji but the angel works too :)

@vickyday Is it hard to line up the seams with knitting? When I sew together seams in crochet, I use stitch markers to keep them even. However, that might be a result of the way I crochet, not because crochet is that different from knitting. LOL
Oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. When you put it that way (1/4 of the year already) um. well. That's scary. *gulps*

HAGD!

I'm not a jock either! But now that I'm getting older I have to do something!! I need strength in my legs and arms again! We might buy a rowing machine for home in the fall. Unfortunately we don't have water nearby. I envy Trudy for having fun kayaking! movement is everything! I'll definitely watch the yoga video. Preferably on Wednesday, because my husband can't watch then, because he'll be working once a week until the end of the year and then he'll actually retire. After almost 50 years it's about time!!!!

What do you have to do on Color Play Day? And what are the cheeries? You guys are the elite squad and you work for the designers or what? I have no idea. :holysheep:#dk

Good morning, everyone!

Oh, how I envy your days swimming, hiking, knitting.... (as I sit here grumbling because the boss got on my last nerve the minute she walked in this morning. No joke...almost handed her my keys and walked out)

On that note.....

@bcgal00 the thought of all the wildlife makes me swoon. Enjoy.
@Su_Sanne and @faerywings huge yoga fan over here! your chatter about it tells me I need to get back into doing it. When I started having trouble standing I stopped... which probably only made things worse. I think I just might pull out some of those home videos this weekend and give it a whirl....

I hope everyone has something to smile about today! Even if it's only one small thing... to keep you going.

PEACE. Florentino Out.

Good morning ladies. Had a wonderful time yesterday with a friend, driving around for the day with a friend, visiting lots of lakes/rivers and country roads. Met a farmer who moved to Merritt from Vancouver 2 years ago and chatted with her for awhile. Starting to see more birds now, they are returning to the interior.

Have to go feed the birds, shower and get ready to head out to Costco with Jen but will load my CT pages before I go.

HAGD everyone. I'll check back in later.

Good Morning everyone! I was totally MIA from here yesterday, not sure where the day went. I can’t believe that its:friday: How the heck did that happen?? I got up very early yesterday morning and got to the pool. It was very quiet and I had a lane to myself again.:lovey3: Then a long FaceTime call from Heather. She is still waiting to have her dryer looked at and hopefully today will know if she needs to have it replaced or if it can be fixed. The last thing she needs is to have to buy a new major appliance. I tried to get on the computer numerous times during the day, but something always took me to another place, another project to work on and I felt like a dog that sees a squirrel, off in a different direction. :runningdog: I did manage to get a page done for the colour play and will post that sometime today. I did get a few things done behind the scenes here too for month end. Today will be busy with getting the bedroom ready for the in-laws as they are spending tonight here and we will drive them to the gender reveal party in the morning. Not sure how long we will stay as I know they will want to get home before it gets dark so FIL can see to drive. (Something he should not be doing in the first place)! SIL Linda stopped by to pick out the decals that she wanted to put on her kayak and I got those all cut out with my silhouette machine. I will take photos of them when I get a chance. Have to order Chinese Food for our dinner tonight, its MIL’s favourite and I am happy not to cook.

@faerywings - It seems that you and I had the same kind of messed up day yesterday, must be something in the air LOL. I hope that you have a nice visit with your Mom today, remember to be Patient and just enjoy the time that you have together!! How I wish I could have a nice chat with my Mom again! I can’t remember what her voice sounds like anymore and that makes me very sad!! I was never very athletic either, but I was very good at figure skating, that is until boys became more important to me LOL. I probably do more in the way of sports than I ever did as a kid. I hope that you are enjoying your yoga sessions, it sounds like you have found a good teacher and isn’t it great that you can do it in your own home instead of having to go to a classroom!

@Nonni F - Oh so sorry to hear that your boss is pissing you off! I hope that your day gets better and you will have a good weekend!

I am sorry everyone, but I need to finish this here and get busy with my day, DH is home today and we have lots on to do list to get done! What else is new?? Right?!! I hope that you all have a lovely Friday and that you all have a Creative Day!!

Good morning ladies...still morning right? I've decided to use my lunch hour for a little O time. We are back to warm, sunny days here. It's 76° and going to 85. Got a text from Sydney. She was getting ready to go to the grocery store and her car wouldn't start. She has jumper cables in her call but there wasn't anyone around with a car and so I told her to just use her AAA membership. They are there now...my guess is that they will tell her she needs a new battery. We told her that if they tell her that, she should just go ahead and buy one. Another one of the life lessons for Sydney as an adult.

No big plans for the weekend. I got my grocery order in which will make Shaun happy.

@taxed4ever thank you! Sorry about my mini rant. Just started off BAD and while I used to pride myself in being a people person, some people have sucked the life right out of me as of late. I just keep telling myself... be thankful you have a job...and you need a job to pay the vet bills. lol

Just hard sometimes when you try to be positive and other work so hard to drag you down with them. Life is too very short.

Love and peace to each of you. Fridays are half days so I am HOME and happy!

:peace2:

Quick in and out. Will see Spine and Pain clinic doctor April 18th. X-rays show a slippage on 1 vertebra just above the rods/pins fusion and and a narrowing near the base of the spine. Nurse P for primary care doc ordered another med for nerve pain yesterday. Once I see the S/P doc will see what he recommends what we need to do. I will try to drop in and keep you all up-to-date on it. Sorry I am missing out the Color Play kits... they are lovely.

Well.....it's not really that it is so hard.....it's just time-consuming! And I'm impatient! When I'm done knitting.....I want it ALL to be done! ;)
