Yay to all of us, we made it! Friday! What a week. But I am trying really really hard to keep searching for the good things, even if they are little, like my "Cheeseburger-calling" bird being back. Like my crocuses trying to peek up. To it being cold but above freezing. And I was given 20 cans of dog food at the FP so my dogs are happy too.
And.... *drum roll*.... To having some blond back in my hair!! I haven't seen too much of it since I put it in a ponytail soon after I got home but the family said it looked good. And I ended up getting more layers in and long bangs to cover my thinning spot on my hairline.
Cait still hasn't heard back from the AG. pfft. But Scott has been contacting a bunch of people regarding internships and possible work in the greenhouse on campus. And he contacted a University inquiring about Masters programs in Ecology. Mostly to see what kind of requirements they have for Biology courses, but the environmental science/field ecology classes he has/will be taking seem sufficient. That makes me really happy. For those who don't know, Scott went through HS not having any sort of idea of what he wanted to do. Told his guidance counselor he was going to live in a box on the street. That was his plan. To see him so exciting and forward thinking is such a 180 that it makes me want to yell it from the rooftops. But I think he would get mad at me if I did. And I am not so good being on unstable heights. haha!!
I don't have to be anywhere today so I am thinking that it would be smart of me to try and relax a bit, especially since I have plans for both days this weekend.
Hope you have a great day!xoxo
