Yay to all of us, we made it! Friday! What a week. But I am trying really really hard to keep searching for the good things, even if they are little, like my "Cheeseburger-calling" bird being back. Like my crocuses trying to peek up. To it being cold but above freezing. And I was given 20 cans of dog food at the FP so my dogs are happy too.

And.... *drum roll*.... To having some blond back in my hair!! I haven't seen too much of it since I put it in a ponytail soon after I got home but the family said it looked good. And I ended up getting more layers in and long bangs to cover my thinning spot on my hairline.

Cait still hasn't heard back from the AG. pfft. But Scott has been contacting a bunch of people regarding internships and possible work in the greenhouse on campus. And he contacted a University inquiring about Masters programs in Ecology. Mostly to see what kind of requirements they have for Biology courses, but the environmental science/field ecology classes he has/will be taking seem sufficient. That makes me really happy. For those who don't know, Scott went through HS not having any sort of idea of what he wanted to do. Told his guidance counselor he was going to live in a box on the street. That was his plan. To see him so exciting and forward thinking is such a 180 that it makes me want to yell it from the rooftops. But I think he would get mad at me if I did. And I am not so good being on unstable heights. haha!!

I don't have to be anywhere today so I am thinking that it would be smart of me to try and relax a bit, especially since I have plans for both days this weekend.

Hope you have a great day!xoxo

Nancy- what a fun Panera group you must have and yeah, those bread bowls are so good too. Uh-Oh, sorry for your friend... of all of the teams to knock out the Rangers ;) Hope that the Devils won last night.

Trudy- the hike must have had a very different feel to it having the kids chatting away during it. The kids Cait babysits are chatterboxes and when we drove them to meet their g-parents together, my poor head was spinning trying to keep up. I saw the pic of you guys with the Easter eggs-- precious! The house is going to be very quiet again tomorrow :(

Jean- the weather here is the same, grey, foggy, dreary and cold. That damp-cold that gets into your bones. Hope that you are having better weather and even see some sunshine today.

Hugs to all of you who stop by.

Good morning, ladies. I enjoyed relaxing at my kitchen counter, drinking my coffee, reading my ereader and watching all the birds at the feeders on the back porch. The sun is shining and I will get out for a long walk along the river with Taz later before heading up to the hospital.

I'll be sorting thru some things in the basement at some point over the long wkend. I need to start bins/boxes for a garage sale later in April, charity bins and the rest for the dump/recycling depot. B will be in the hospital for weeks to come and after that we don't know if she'll go to some kind of a rehab ctr or if she'll be ready to come to us. But, regardless, cleaning out the clutter from our home is long overdue so will be working on that over the coming weeks and will set up a bedroom in the back part of the basement.

I've been baking a few times a week to bring up food for B. With her memory retention problem she forgets that she already ate a previous meal, starts repeatedly asking for the meal, then gets anxious, agitated and then goes into her angry mean mode. So I've been bringing up chopped veggies and a refined sugar-free treat for her on each visit. I've been baking and then separating into wrapped portions to quickly grab out of the fridge to bring up to her. I just found a blueberrry/lemon muffin recipe on youtube that I'm going to make for her tomorrow as today I'll bring up the last of the brownies for her.

Chris - bet it feels good to have gotten your hair done. I'm overdue to get mine cut and shaped again, hopefully sometime over the next month or so I'll find time to go. Enjoy your quiet day.

Trudy - I saw the pic with you and the kids. They are so cute and you look wonderful!

Jean, Nancy, Felis....hope all is well. I need to get to work before heading out. I haven't scrapped in a month so am hoping I enjoy putting together my challenge later today. It's weird not scrapping and even weirder to not really care but I know once I get back into it, the enjoyment will come back.

Have a great day, everyone.

We're settling into somewhat of a routine now with this schedule of work/hospital/quick meal at home in the late evening. I'm starting to take 2-3 meats out of the freezer so I constantly have something thawed to pop into the oven in the afternoon before we go to the hospital and then just have to warm up when we return home around 7:30/8:30 at night. I need to do more prep on the wkend when I have a bit more time, to help with our weekday meals.

Hello girls,
my neighbours have new dog. She is adorable! Her dog house is on our common fence, and because she live almost alone, we often go and waving hi, during the day. Biggie is so upset! He don't understand that this is other property and she isn't in his area. I hope fast to socialisate them both, so to can left him to run free again, because now I have to keep him away from the fence or he will broke it. The weather is lovely and we spend much time out today. Orthodox easter is next week, but this we have other holidays. But later for that :) .

This song is in my mind past few days and reminds me for B. I'm happy to see your post Rae. I know you are brilliant in organizing stuffs so this clothes organisation wouldn't be challenge!

Chris, I want to see your new hairstyle!!! May be at the new avi?! Or other LO. I don't understand very good these things that Cait must do, but wish her good luck! The news about Scott are very exciting! Congrats!

I'll come back later reviewing yesterday's post!

Hi everyone!
Felis- I love seeing new dogs!

Rae- your morning with the coffee and ereader sounds wonderful!

Chris- looking forward to seeing the new hair style. I also understand the thinning hair- I went through 2 years of hair loss. Awful.

I haven't done much. Last week I had injections in my Sciatica joints and I have been in intense pain for the past week. I start PT next week and hope it helps. One of my daughters has a job about 1 1/2 hours away so she is only here on the weekends. Kinda weird!
