ooooh, boy- it is gonna be a day :suspicious:
The weather forecast went from bad to worse overnight and we are now in the beginnings of a Nor'easter. It went from a rain/snow event to maybe up to 11" of snow. It was raining when I took the pups outside this morning. At 7 am it was still raining. 10 minutes later the snow was coming down like mad and this is going to last all day. :hurt:
Caitlyn's school is still open, and 2 of Scott's classes are canceled but the school is open. Neither kid is going anywhere. I said the same thing as last time, that I couldn't tell them what to do but as a mom, I would rather not worry about them. haha!! All of the school districts are closed so the roads aren't going to get cleared for a while.

We had good news and frustrating news yesterday. The VUE has a brake line leak and needs new drums (?) but the bolts are so rusted that they aren't 100% how to get them off. That is going to an expensive project.
Ray on the other hand, had a good visit. The vet said that even though the new growth looks different than the other ones, it is caused by the same virus. She is due for vaccinations/heartworm in June so she will recheck them but unless they bother her, they are entirely safe to leave alone.

When we got home, we decided to take the 2 Maniacs to the dog park. They had a great time. It was just the 2 of them at first so they made their rounds peeing on everything then starting running after each other. Then 3 more dogs showed up and they played so nicely. And you know that they were passed out cold the rest of the day. LOL

Today I want to clean the house, or at least some of it. Then we are going to do some family games this afternoon. I hope that puts the fam in a better mood since we are all a little cranky.

(Did I ever tell you how much I hate snow?)

So all in all a blergy kind of day.

Hope that yours is a better one!

Rae- hope that the rain the other day didn't make everything a muddy mess. So happy that you had some sun. Hugs to Taz!

Trudy- those photos are breathtaking! Don't feel too bad-my goddaughter's birthday is the 6th and I haven't done anything for her either. Hope that you were able to get something shipped in time.

jean- Oh I know that feeling of "grumpy personals" Story of my life !!!! :pound:
Hope that today is a better day for you.

Felis- happy Granny March to you-- would love to see you try to put the amulets on the cats. :p

I asked Gary to make me an egg sandwich so I am going to post this and then eat that :hungry:

Good Friday Morning Ladies! It is a another rainy day here today. My Gary is home with me this morning as he has an appointment with the Ophthalmologist to see if his cataract is ready to be removed. Hopefully it will be. He needs a driver for the ride home as they will be putting drops in his eyes. So not too much else to do today, so I really hope to get a page done for the new challenges this month. Yesterday I found a new shower curtain for our main bathroom upstairs, its really cute and the colours are perfect for my new Norwex towels that I have in there. Oh and Heather had good news yesterday, Mason will be able to take the bus now and they will be picking him up and dropping him off right in front of their house!! How great is that!! She is very happy and so is Mason, who is looking forward to catching the bus with his buddies LOL.

Chris - Ughh on your crappy weather!! I know how much you hate the snow and it sounds like you are really getting another blast of winter! I am happy to hear that both of your kiddos are not going to school when the roads must be horrid for driving! Well hopefully the car repair will not be too expensive, they will hopefully figure out a not too costly fix. I did manage to find a gift for Sadie, with help from my sister who gave me the suggestion. So at least that is done and the gift is on its way to her, just hope it arrives in time for her special day. We will facetime with her of course, but the other Grandma and Grandpa will be there, so we won't interfere with their visit.

Nancy - :gaah: don't you hate when you lose your post, especially if it was a long one!! Hope that your weather isn't keeping you and Luther from going for your walk today. I see you have been busy scrapping more hockey pages, I will have to go to the gallery and check them out! Love your hockey pages! Have a good Friday!!

Felis - Happy Granny March to everyone at your place, LOL I would also love to see you try to get the cats to wear anything, they really don't cooperate too much do they? I bet your dogs looked cute though. Hope that you have a great time scrapping all the new challenges and I know that you will love the upcoming birthday party here at the O!

Ok I need to get DH some breakfast and then I better get dressed and get ready to go to the eye Dr. soon. This post took me forever to get done, as we have been facetiming with Heather and Hunter for the past hour LOL its is nice that DH got in a visit with them today! I will pop in later on and catch up with the rest of you, have a great morning everyone!

Good morning, ladies. Was up a bit early today (6:20) instead of 7. Taz decided he wanted to go out. I didn't mind getting up early b/c then I got to sit longer and read my book. I ended up skimming thru the last 1/4 of it as I was losing interest in the main character but still wanted to know how it finished. So I skimmed thru each page, getting the gist of it and was able to finish it up. Not one of my fave books (Watch Me) so hope my next choice is more interesting. We're back to rain today but I think it's supposed to be clear skies the rest of the wkend. Hope so. We hit 50 yesterday with the sunshine but don't expect that today with the rain. But no more snow, that's done now.

I have some CT work to do and want to organize some shelves sometime over the next few days. I am trying to get rid of things we don't use and declutter (endlessly ongoing) so want to sort thru the china cabinet and takes some pics of items I can put on bidding wars and sell off for cheap or free, just to get them out of the house and make room for organizing the things I do use. I've got a few bags to bring to VV this afternoon. I'm starting to pull out the stored summer clothes I had put away, not sure if I could wear them this summer of not....looks like not. I'm looking forward to the 50% sale on Sun at VV so plan to be there when they open to quickly browse. I don't need any winter stuff now but am looking for lightweight sweaters and shirts and maybe some capris and workout clothes. I popped in there yesterday on the way back from the grocery store and was thrilled to find a unique looking long hoodie type jacket. Fits really well and I love it. It'll be great for spring. So...there's my latest clothing karma news :)

Chris - enjoy game day later. Crazy weather you are having. I hope your snow disappears as quickly as ours did.

Trudy - any luck at the consignment store?

I'm getting to work now, so hope everyone is well and I'll pop back later to read personals when you all post them. Have a great day.

Good morning, Trudy....looks like we cross-posted.

FT with family, what a nice way to start off your morning (especially as G was able to join in). Good luck with his doctor visit. That is great news about the school bus!

No wonder I was grumpy yesterday. It rained all day turning the yard to a swamp then the winds picked up and after dark the world turned white. At least our only power outage was momentary but some areas lost power. We wound up with several inches of wet snow. I've only been outside to the porch to take photos but with it being above freezing and the sun out some it is subsiding. Still school was closed and we stayed home for dinner last night.

Felis, I loved your Granny March story. Must be a very positive thing to do - at least if it's not a cat you're trying to put it on. You must tell us when you see the first stork or swallow. Hope you have time this weekend to keep up the scrapping of the new challenges.

Chris, so sorry you're getting this nasty weather. The only good thing is that it will go away. I know sometimes Dick will go places with me when weather is iffy just so he need not fret about me, so I know you're happy with the kids staying home. Game time sounds just right!

Nancy, so sorry you lost the post! Also sorry the Devils lost last night, but at least the Bruins took it to the Pens for you. Good luck with the weather.

Trudy, hope your MG gets good news about the cataract. My DH really needed the surgery when it was done and he was so happy after. He'd worn glasses since 6th grade but suddenly only needed reading glasses. Bet Sadie gets the gift in time and loves it. Glad Mason got the good news about the school bus.

Rae, shopping has become your avocation! And you are so good at it. Enjoy the spring weather.

Wishing all a great day and weekend.

Good morning girls,
here is morning of March 3th, which is our Liberation Day. Something like 4th of July for USA, but without fireworks (so better for the dogs). In many places will have historical reenactments battles, but weather is so bad with melting snow and icy, so my family will watch them on tv, instead of travel in these roads. Yesterday Chris, was ask about Biggie, and after Trudy share her lovely wedding photo, I want to do the same so, here we are.

Don't look on my awful style thats are my home clothes. From left to right Biggie, Felis and Tiny.

Me and Biggie as a snowman.

I'll add personals later. Love you girls!
Have a lovely weekend!

Chris, I hope you had fun with the games night! It's dangerous to travel at these weather so hope your kids can excuse their absences. Good for Ray's results. Oh, yeah, some of the cats already put down their March collars. It will be long time this Spring till I force some of them to bring antiparasites collars and bell.

Nancy, I hate when this happen! I'm slow typing and often I'm log off before to finished my post, so I started to prepare them at WordPad and just put them when I'm ready. However, hope you had a good time and weather, and got fun!

Trudy, yeah, no cooperating from the cats, my hands are in scratching, which is awful at this cold! I'm totally sure I'll like the O birthday party too! This month I start in creative mood, and hate I don't have more time to scrap this weekend, so I'll try to take more free time for the birthday party.! Hope Gary app at Ophthalmologist was good! My family genetically have different problems with the eyes and this is something that really worried me! How good about Mason and the bus, and Heather wouldn't worry! How fast the kids grown! Oh, how nice from your sister side to gives you idea for Sadie's gift! I'm understand you correct you are decided to not visit her this week. I'm sure she will be little disappointed, but with these bad roads right now, I think this is good decision!

Rae, my sister also start to rid of some her clothes, so I'll receive some of them, we are the same size :). I'm sure you'll find great things as usual! Did Jean will come with you? Aww, so great about the hoodie type jacket! Jackets are my new passion! But I'm afraid that soon I wouldn't have enough space. No matter I still looks for one concrete model that must have! :)

Jean, I totally understand you! With this icy right now, even for me winter don't looks so pretty, but this is the last her 'show', March brings spring. Yes, I can tell when I saw storks, it would be soon. Yesterday very interesting bird was on my tree, I couldn't look it carefully, but it's song was so pretty! I immediately thought that you could recognize it. It was lovely to listen, and enough cold cats to be inside, looks like bird was know that it's not dangerous at this time. Poor buddy, probably was hungry, but I don't want to risk to feed them, because is better to not learn to come here.
