Happy happy Friday!

I hope that my O-Fam is doing great this day. Feeling great, great weather, great times! Is everyone ready for all of that? It is going to be sunny but cold today, I can take that. Cleaning today-- means $$, I can take that too. LOL
And the best part of today is that my mom is coming up and bringing food!!! :hungry:
My mom is a true Italian woman who thinks the answer too all of life's problems is "mangia!" I have learned, albeit reluctantly, that it makes her happy and feel useful and important to cook for my family. When she heard that caitlyn was eating like crap, she was sad. I asked her if she could come up and cook some stuff for me. She cooks, I don't have to. She feels needed and helpful, Its a win-win!
It's hard for me to accept help, but if I think of it as doing something that helps her too, it makes it ok in my warped mind. Its like how my dad will slip me $20 for gas. I won't take it, but if he tells me its for pizza for the kids, I can.

I know, I am bizarre.

Finish It Friday:
I have more scrap pages to add to the gallery for March Challenges. They are all awesome this month. Be sure to check them out.

 to all!

Laurie-- How did you do with your to-do list. I like how you have two of them, except sometimes the Must do's *are* creative to do's. Scrap Therapy, right?? :)

Phyllis- how does the carpet look? Did you get to sleep in your own bed? Hope so!
Sometimes (often!) I wonder what the heck am I doing raising teens. Seriously.... I haven't gotten my own head straight, how am I supposed to guide two kids to adulthood and help them keep their heads together????
Makes you feel like giving up sometimes.

Donna! Oh my!!!!!!!!!!! The winds took a swing set down the street? Of all natural disasters, tornadoes scare me the most. Probably the unpredictability and destruction of them. Be safe!

Kristy- that looks like fun! I think one of the reasons I burn out on the p365 is that I never know what pic to take.

Trudy- hope that you are well rested today!

Maureen-- glad to hear that the weather is better for you. Reading a book by the ocean sounds like a *perfect* plan!

Linda S- happy b-da to Syd!!!!

Kristy-- gorgeous!!!

Stef- you should be a weather-person! :) Feel better and hope you get some rest.

xoxo!!!

Chris, much of my list got done, even some scrapping- I'll be uploading- umm sometime this weekend- I would say tonight, except, we are supposed to have storms come through and I will be totally unplugging the router. I want to go an entire year without having to install a new one! So maybe MMG and I will dance to Sinatra in the basement- can you say FOXTROT ?

Morning!

Chris- Enjoy your Friday and how sweet of your mom to do some cooking. Does sound like a win-win and bet she is a great cook! Also great March challenges for pages, Chris!

Raining here right now, but should be nice later. Watching the news and so much damage from the tornadoes across the country.

I'm off to exercise this morning and then a few groceries and both my kids will be home this evening after work and school for the weekend. Hubby and I have lots of jobs for both of them............we miss our help when it moved away!! There will still be time to hang out and watch movies.

Enjoy your Friday O people!

Just a quick  before I head of to work. I had a great day yesterday - but boy, it's hard to work, when you're not used to it :)

Had some time to do some CT work this morning too ... but now I'm almost getting late for work ... have a great Friday everyone. I won't be home until late this evening.

All work and no play makes Eva a dull girl ;)

:hurt: Chris, i want an Italian mother!!!! honestly, at this point i'll take ANY mom who will come and cook here and love doing it. my mom always hated to cook, so there was never any of that in my life. and now that i'm older, i totally GET her hating to cook. my poor husband. i am NOT being a creative cook lately. we cycle through spaghetti, lasagna, tacos, chicken wings, kulbasi, burgers, breakfast-for-dinner, some sort of pork variation, pot roast. beginagain.

the carpet's in, i slept in my bed. all's right with the world. now i'm going to call Restoration Hardware to see if they can hurry up the furniture. i asked them to hold off as long as they could on delivery because of all these other things that had to happen first.

the sun is shining, i made a page, i have nothing i HAVE to do today. lookin' GOOD!

Merry Friday! ::grouphug

TGIF!!! Hope everyone is having a good morning!! I can't believe how quickly the days go by!! I am getting excited because my MG and myself are headed to see the kids and grandkids on Wednesday. We will be in Winnipeg for 10 days and playing with the grandbabies while their Mom and Dad vacation in Europe. It will be exhasting I am sure but in a good way. Sadie turns 2 on Sunday already but Grandma and Grandpa will be giving her gift to her when they arrive in Winnipeg. We have lots of activities planned with them. The Zoo, the kids Museum, playgrounds etc. Lots to do over the next few days to get ready.

Chris - How wonderful that your Mom loves to cook for you!! My mother loved to cook also and would have most of us over for dinner every Sunday night to enjoy her Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding!! :hungry: it was soooo good!! I miss her terribly!!
Hope your cleaning goes well today, the $'s will come in handy I'm sure! Your Dad sounds like a sweetie offering you gas money!

Laurie - Dancing in the basement sounds cool!! Hope the storms don't knock out your power, be safe!! Smart idea to unplug your EHD that would be disastrous to lose another one of those and all your goodies too.

Donna - A great weekend for you! Have a wonderful visit with your family while they are home, hope there are some good movies to watch!!

Phylis - How nice that you finally got to sleep all night in your bed!! When that furniture arrives I want to see some pics!! I'm going to have to check out your new page! Love your work!!!

Eva - Nice that you enjoyed your day of work yesterday! Hope today is another good one for you!

Off to the gallery and then hitting the shower and work, but Hooray its Friday!!!!

Well it's almost afternoon here and the sun is shining again on my little part of Kauai. I'm so glad because Dick had his big bike trip down Waimea Canyon today. I dreaded the thought of him on a muddy road for obvious reasons! We all know how men are with a cold but the thought of a broken something...well, so far no phone call so I presume he's ok.

This is our last day on Kauai and tomorrow we fly to Oahu for a week. City life, even island city life, is more to our taste so I'm glad we're almost on our way. Back to reading but tonight I may try to catch up on my layouts for the 365/Project Life I'm doing. I should! because I brought my little ehd with all my supplies AND all my photos. No excuses, eh?

Have a great weekend and stay safe if you are in the path of a storm.
