We are halfway through March! It was just January. 2023!!
:rotfl:

It felt more like it was mid-April yesterday, the sun was glorious! We definitely got close to 70* even if it stayed freezing inside my house. I don't like that part of spring weather. It's usually warmer outside than inside. By the time the house heats up in the summer, Gary wants to blast the AC. Can't a girl catch a break? *g*
I was feeling mentally ragged by dinnertime last night. The confusion in the house with boxes and tools and paint supplies everywhere is making me so unsettled inside my head. Add in the noise of the construction and banging and saws. The dogs whining to be let out of the BR is like nails on a chalkboard. Argh! Everything should be finished today though, all that needs to be done is the grout. It looks amazing. (Sidenote: I'm slightly jealous that the upstairs is getting redone while my BR carpet is in shreds and that bathroom needs some work too. Just some. ha)

The work meeting was productive. We are getting reading for the Spring Homeschool session and some field trips. I'll be helping out with the stream ecosystem program which sounds awesome.

Today I don't have to go anywhere but I have lots and lots to do. I'm hoping that I can get myself organized and on task today.
Wish me luck ;)

Big hugs to you all!

@vickyday the SS deposit went through on time, it was just later in the month. Our day is the 2nd Wed and it fell on the 13th this time. Most of my bills are due on the 15th and 16th. You should be fine!
Do you know what enzyme the doctor wanted you to take? The kids' LLMD suggested Papaya Enzyme for them- esp for Caitlyn who had a lot of issues with nausea/vomiting when she was in school.
dance4Good job on walking-- that is a great pace for a mile! You got this!!
I'm so glad that you have the appt and can cross that stress off your list for now. Keep on feeling great!

@BrightEyes I can't imagine the trip your niece had to make with the strong winds fighting them. Glad they made it safely to their travel park. I hope the weather and job dates work out ok for them. It has to be difficult to plan everything to a T and then having the weather throw everything out the window would make me so frustrated.
Can't wait to hear about the visit!

@Cherylndesigns I can relate to that feeling of being weighted down when exercising. The experts tell you not to have a big meal before yoga for good reason Bwuahahah! Even a short walk is better than no walk.
The Starbucks sounds so good but limiting them will make the ones you do get even more of a treat.:D

@scrap-genie I saw your pi LO in the HAPS-- it's beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us♥

No, to the enzyme, but it was something to aid in digestion that you take with your meals. I'm re-reading all of the info again. The first time through was only for informational purposes. This time I want to research the products for the pros and cons.
I did the same walk yesterday, but was more tired at the end. I may need to skip a day in between.
My SS day is the 3rd Wednesday.

Good Morning to All,
The temp reached 80 yesterday! Mark and I worked in the yard and had to kick the AC on afterwards. I got too hot and had to sit and cool off for awhile! I hate that my body does that! It felt so good to be outside in the sunshine and just a bit of breeze.

Mark and I went to lunch again yesterday! 3rd day this week! I went to the walking trail again afterwards and did a mile. Wanted to do more, but was more tired yesterday than the day before. I may need to skip a day in between until I build my strength back up.

Nothing going on today. The sun is trying to shine but rain is in the forecast, so it is mostly overcast. I think I will move pictures from the new camera to the EHD and do some scrapping today. I also need to order some more birdseed as I've let myself run totally out! I may run out and get some to hold me over until the order arrives after Mark and Noah get back from the gun store.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Morning... it has been raining/spitting snow earlier and will continue off and on this morning. Glad that Dee and Jim are not on the road today. They will be heading up I-25 through Denver. WOW, Denver got hammered with snow and roads are hazardous right now. Suppose to stop later on today so they plan on leaving early tomorrow morning. We had a delightful visit yesterday. This is our visit with Jim - who is so delightful. Don't think we stopped talking the whole time they were here!!! We did remember to take some photos right before they headed back to their trailer. I posted a few of them on my FB page. I had forgotten that Dee had the motor home and she sold it when they moved in together. After they lost the wheel off of the trailer last year, they traded that one for this newer one. They have a big rig truck, the 43' trailer and tow her Dodge car... makes for a long, long rig when on the road. They plan on coming over later this morning for a visit. So, I need to get dressed pretty soon.

@faerywings So glad the bathroom reno is almost done. I know you will be glad to have all the noise and confusion from that over with. Poor dogs having to be penned up in the bedroom. Sounds like you are having fun learning about nature for your new job.

@vickyday Meant to say how much I like your siggy!!! Sure looks like spring! Glad you have an appointment with the DO. You are smart to do some research on some of things he may want you to take.

Have to get dressed before the kids get here. BBL

Good morning - don't faint because it's so early.

Had to get up at 7 to have Daisy ready to go to the groomer. Adrienne asked me to come up for dinner last night and big surprise - Braden walked in unannounced! It was SO good to see him and he gave me the biggest hug. He got "elected" to take the dogs this morning, ha. He's a good kid - he never complains (at least not where we can hear him.) The groomer is clear on the other side of the town we live nearby and they're usually there most of the day. Daisy is a mess - she'll probably come home skinned. I've been a bad dog mom - poor thing hasn't gotten brushed like she normally does. I told her that I'd try to do better, but I was doing the best I could do right now. I know she understood what I said. :beatingheart::beatingheart: We would like to start grooming them ourselves but it's a daunting task. It's so expensive and so far to take them. Adrienne trims on them a little bit with my hair cutting scissors. She has been trimming Marley for months because she can't get knicked or her blood won't clot. She's still hanging in there.

Chris @faerywigs I'll bet the bathroom looks amazing and I get it that you're a big envious. Maybe soon, you can get your room/bat redone, too. I'll bet the "clammer" was getting to you yesterday. We didn't get to walk yesterday because we had the worst storm - it kind of came as a surprise, but it was a doozy for a little while. Then it just rained the rest of the afternoon and evening. I didn't eat before we walked, but I think that coffee weighed me down. But it was SO good and we do enjoy it more now that we don't have it every time we go into town. A lot of times, we just went into town to get it. Haha We always had some excuse to "swing through Starbucks". Geeze I swear the price has gone up too - what hasn't though????

Vicky @vickyday glad you're researching and hoping you find some answers. Yes, sometimes we have to take a day off from walking, but you're doing so well.

Hugs to everyone who stops in and I'll try to come back and do some personals later. I'm doing paperwork today and have one of my "tasts" taken care of so far. It never ends. Didn't "they" tell us that we were going to become a paperless society? What happened to that? I know that at least one tree was responsible for all of the stacks of papers I've received.

I'll try to get back.

I love all of the chatter when family gets together after not seeing one another for awhile!
Thanks! I went simple with this siggy!

I, personally, couldn't do "paperless"! I want to see that statement.....or whatever......in my hands! LOL!
I've thought about grooming Asher, too, but Mark's daughter, who is a groomer, says he is not easy to do! So, I guess I'll continue to let her do it! ;)

It costs me $85 to have Daisy groomed and she expects a tip on top of that. We've about had it with her. She also didn't take Lila down at all last time and she looked like a big fat sausage. She's about the only groomer in town, too. We had a mobile groomer for about 15 minutes and all she wanted to do was shave them down every time. She copped an attitude with me the last time she was here because I didn't want Daisy shaved. I knew that day that she wouldn't be back and she called and made up some lame excuse.

As far as my comment on paperless - you don't know how many of the SAME things I get from (mainly) Medicare and SS EVERY day!! I opened 6 big fat envelopes the other day with really nothing I needed and they were all exact replicas. The paper is stacking up around here. Time for a bonfire. I guess Chuck's death generated a lot of it but really THAT much that seems unrelated???? Of course, I keep what I NEED to keep in my file.

I do agree about the unnecessary duplicate always sent, for sure! AND the junk mail!
