Whhhheeeeeee!!! TGIF!!!!!!
And Day Three of this heat wave, but we are getting T-Storms tonight and hopefully it will break.But I'll take this heat any day over the cold, that is for sure.

As you can tell, I survived my shopping trip with the kids and they made it home in one piece too. Only once did I have to stick my fingers in my ears and walk away. I had an older woman tell me in the very beginning of my trip to enjoy them and that she misses her grown up kids. That one comment put it all in perspective, you know?

Cait and I are off to clean for a new client this morning. I cleaned for her once before and her house is huge and gorgeous! But it will be a long day. And I want to scrap so much today. I have literally no spark, no mojo-- just nothing.:(
When that happens, I try to either scraplift or use a template, but even that leaves me staring at the computer in aggravation.

Oh well, it will come back. Someday ;)

What good stuff do you have planned for today? Hope whatever you do, its fun! And if not, there is always tomorrow to sleep a but late and relax.

Finsih It Friday- I left dinner dishes in my sink. And I have to clean up for tomorrow when my family comes up for my birthday. Then: :partywine
 
Laurie- that email from YMG-- that is sweet-- keep that one! Good for you for sleeping in a bit, you obviously needed that little bit of catch-up.

Phyllis- that is how I usually approach shopping too, stay out of my way and out of my head when I am trying to calculate prices and savings. heh! Thanks for the good thoughts, they are needed..... its just too much.
What time did the work men get to you? I love the version of "first thing" or "first on the list." Ha, never works out that way.

Heather- hope that your coffee and friend went well, i miss my BFF and out coffee dates.

Trudy- I miss my mojo toooooo :(:(:( Yay for the short hours, its about time!! I bet your family tree is stunning and if they don't like it, tough $%*^

Morning O fam! No walk this am- bill pay instead- the good news- it is done! So off to work today and then the weekend- we will be back to dance!! Other than that, another hot one here! I did scrap (&blur) MMG wonderful email to me, and then another page with his photo on it, will post this weekend-
 
whew. temps only in the low 80s today. i can shut off the AC and open the windows and curtains and shades. i'm baking my almond flour CC cookies shortly, while it's still in the 70s here. hang in there, Chris. i'm sending you some comfortable summer weather!

the repair guy showed up shortly after i was moaning about WHEN he was going to show up. it ended up that he didn't move the stupid phone jack that's in the middle of my bedroom wall. i decided against it, because it was going to inolve drilling through the bricks of my outside wall, and it just wasn't worth it. who sees my bedroom except me and hubby? BUT, when he asked if there was anything else he could do for me, i told him that my wirless reception stinks. he set me up with a new modem that is FANTASTIC!! i can actually go out of the room where the router is and get perfect streaming video on my iPad! i could have kissed the guy! this means i can watch streaming video in the kitchen when i'm making dinner, listen to "As It Happens" and Michael Enright on the CBC, listen to Newshour on the BBC, listen to my local American talk radio ANYWHERE in the house ---ALL without continuous stops for buffering. this is a good thing!

i never made it to the Mall yesterday. i'm going today. lots of shopping for kids. and babies. whaat fun!

Trudy and Chris--hope you get your groove back. can't wait to see the pages! i have a mountain of new AnnaStuff to look through this morning. i need to make a page using this stuff, and i hope there's an idea in my head someplace.

OK. gonna get started on my day. hope yours is a good one!

hi, Laurie. we were posting at the same time. i just marvel at your husband. he must be quite a guy! SO sweet! enjoy your weekend dancing. i think i'll be dancing around my garden, getting bit by no-seeums and pulling weeds!:mmph:
 
Happy Friday girlies!!! Well my weekend has been spoiled by taking on an extra 4hrs on Sat. morning. Huge lumber sale going on and its grad weekend for a couple of the staff so I said I would come in but only for 4hrs!!! So I will be home by noon tomorrow. Short shift today also Hooray!! I got my hair done yesterday, its so nice to have some rich color back in my hair! The little bit of sunshine that we have had really made me a washed out blonde color, not sure how that happened, we haven't had more than one day of sun in the last couple of weeks (it seems that way anyway).

Chris - Glad that your shopping trip went well!! That lady is right!! Enjoy your kids, they are gone before you know it! Empty nest syndrome is tough!! Great that Cait is helping you clean that big house!! I have been doing the same with my scrapbooking...nothing for the past couple of days, I hate sitting here looking at the blank page on my photoshop program!!!!:twitch: Hope you locate your mojo today!!

Laurie - Looking forward to your pages!! It will be great for you and your MG to get back to dancing again!! Have a great workday!!

Phylis - Nice that you are getting some relief from the heat today!! How wonderful that you have great wireless now!! Isn't it awesome!! I love that I can facetime with my kids and grandkids in any room and not lose the signal ever!! Lucky you getting to play with all that Anna Stuff!! Have fun! Oh and those darn No-Seeums, I just hate those little buggers!! Don't wear anything white or yellow, they love that!! Happy gardening!!

oh i am so glad its Friday! It has been a long week. Feeling kind of crappy these past two weeks from a new friendship one sour, whatever. I am too old to play games and feel less than for any reason. Coffee yesterday with an old friend was really nice though. Sad that she is the only girlfriend that I have. Sorry for the whinefest.

Today is sunny and beautiful and the Slip N Slide is still set up from yesterday so that's where I will be all afternoon!!
Today is Alexa's last exam day and Chloe just has 3 more days til the end of school!!
 
Oh Heather sorry that your girlfriend is being ...what shall we say?? difficult?? I have been through this too, sending positive thoughts your way!! :hug:
